The staircase lighting time delay
switchASH-01isusedtocontrollighting
devicesonstaircasesandcorridors.After
releasing the system it switches on the
lighting for the preset time by the user.
After that it switches off automatically.
Theoperatingtimecanbeadjustedfrom
10secto10minbymeansofapotentio-
meter.The staircase lighting time delay
switchASH-01canbeusedasstandard
time delay relay. The hermetic casing
(IP65)securesthedevicefunctioningin
unfavorableweatherconditions.
Thedeviceisdesigned
for single-phase instal-
lation and must be in-
stalled in accordance
with standards valid in
aparticularcountry.The
device should be con-
nectedaccordingtothedetailsincluded
in this operating manual. Installation,
connectionandcontrolshould be car-
riedoutbyaqualiedelectricianstaff,
who act in accordance with the servi-
ce manual and the device functions.
Disassembling of the device is equal
withalossofguaranteeandcancause
electricshock.Beforeinstallationmake
suretheconnectioncablesarenotun-
dervoltage.Thecruciformheadscrew-
driver3,5mmshouldbeusedtoinstal
the device. Improper transport, stora-
ge,anduseofthedeviceinuenceits
wrongfunctioning.Itisnotadvisableto
instalthedeviceinthefollowingcases:
ifanydevicepartismissingorthede-
viceisdamagedordeformed.Incase
of improper functioning of the device
contacttheproducer.

EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION
Afterpropermounting andinstallation
thedeviceisreadytowork.Releasingthe
system with the monostable pushbutton
causes the lighting to switch on for the
preset time.After the preset time is over
thelightingisautomaticallyswitchedofftill
its another release. The staircase lighting
timedelayswitchcooperateswith3-wireor
4-wiresystem.Whilemountingthedevice
payattentionthereleaseandloadsystems
areproperlyconnected,otherwisethede-
vicecanbeirreparablydamaged.Because
ofnoanti-blockingsystemthelightiscon-
stantlyswitchedonincasesthepushbut-
tonisblocked.
1.Disconnect the power supply from the
mainsby the phase fuse,the circuitbre-
aker or the switch-disconnector that are
joinedtothepropercircuit.
2. Check if there is no voltage on con-
nection cables by means of a special
measure equipment.
3.Fasten theASH-01 to the base with the
screw.
NOTICE! It is forbidden to bore tting
holes in the cover! It may result in the
loss of containment of the cover and
by this – the loss of guarantee!
4.ConnectthecablesASH-01withtheher-
metic installation junction box according
to installing diagram.
5.Switchonthepowersupplyfromthema-
ins.
6.Take out the rubber hole plug covering
theadjustmentoftheswitchonthreshold
potentiometer.
7.Adjust the demanded switch on time by
meansofapotentiometer.
8.Put back the rubber hole plug covering
thepotentiometer.
