INSTALLATION
ToinstalltheSFPLR‐2intoanappropriatemodule,completethe
followingsteps:
1. InspecttheSFPLR‐2.Ifdamaged,fileaclaimwiththecar‐
rierandthencontactADTRANCustomerSupport.
CAUTION
!
DonotremovetheprotectiveendcapfromtheSFPuntilthefiber
opticcableisreadytobeconnected.
2. InserttheSFPLR‐2intotheSFPcageonthemodule.Ensure
thatthemanufacturer’slabelontheSFPisfacingupwardfor
correctinstallation.
3. SlidetheSFPLR‐2allthewayintothereceptacleuntilthere
isanaudible“click”.
NOTE
ThelatchontheSFPisusedtoremovetheSFPfromthecageon
thecircuitcard.
