Fit the back panel
a: Square up the unit by
making sure that
measurement x to x
equals y to y.
b: Place the back
onto the unit, coloured
surface facing down.
Note: The back must be
positioned so that it is
central on the unit.
Nail around the
outside edges of the
back .
Note: Nails should try to
be spaced out evenly.
Stand the unit up for
the next stage.

Due to continuous improvements to our products, please follow the
instructions below for fitting the back panel.
Issue 2 - 12/12/12 - Assembly method changed - Top is now fitted before the Left Side has been fitted.
Issue 3 - 12/12/13 - Extra Cat code added.
Issue 4 - 24/03/14 - New Cat codes.

approximately 45kgs. Please lift
with care.
• Check you have all the
components and tools listed on
pages 2 and 3.
• Remove all fittings from the
plastic bags and separate them
into their groups.
• Keep children and animals
away from the work area, small
parts could choke if swallowed.
• Make sure you have enough
space to layout the parts before
starting.
• Do not stand or put weight on
the product, this could cause
damage.
• Assemble the item as close to
its final position (in the same
room) as possible.
• Assemble on a soft level
surface to avoid damaging the
unit or your floor (use opened
out unit carton).

Glue Safety - Take care when using glue, please follow the advice below
Skin contact: Remove contami-
nation by washing with soap and
water. This procedure should be
followed prior to aeting and
drinking.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately
with clean water for 15 minutes
and seek medical advice.
If swallowed: Seek medical

Prepare the left side
a: Fit 3 hinge plates
onto the left side ,
making sure that the slot
is facing towards the
finished front edge.
b: To fit the rail holder
. , screw through the
top hole with screw
and into the mark hole
drilled in the left side .
Make sure that it is fitted
straight, in line with the
panel edges and then fit
another screw using
the lower hole.
c: Push 2 hollow core
locking nuts into the
left side , making sure
that they are flush
against the panel’s
surface.
Using a hammer, tap in
the pin on the hollow
core locking nut .
Note: The pin should be
tapped in flush with the
top surface of the hollow
core locking nut .
d: Screw 4 metal
dowels into the holes
on the left side .
Note: Tighten metal
dowels up fully against
the panel.

Insert 4 large locking
nuts into the base .
Note: The arrow on the
locking nut must point
towards the hole in the
edge of the panel.
Tap 2 wooden dowels
into the base .
Note: Wooden dowels
must not stick out from
the edge by more than
10mm or they may
damage other panels.

Fit the base to the
right side
Push the base onto
the right side .

locking nuts fitted to
the base .
Note: Turn the large
locking nuts as far as
they will go - more than
1/2 a turn.

Screw 4 small metal
dowels into the holes
on the top .
Note: Tighten metal
dowels up fully against
the panel.

the back rail
Insert 2 large locking
nuts into the plinth
and 2 into the back rail
. .
Tap 2 wooden dowels
into the plinth and 2
into the back rail .

Fit the left side
Push the left side
onto the assembly.
Use a screwdriver to
tighten the 4 large
locking nuts fitted to
the base plinth
and back rail .
Note: Turn the large
locking nuts as far as
they will go - more than
1/2 a turn.

Attach the top onto
the assembly.
Note: You will need to
slide the 4 small metal
dowels into the top
of the 4 hollow core
locking nuts .

Attach the top onto
the assembly.
