Bathe patient with lift hygiene chair

Lower the bathtub to its lowest
height.
Close the drain.Bathing with hygiene chair: attach the head pillow.
Bathing with bath trolley: do not attach the head
pillow or foot support.
Centre chair over the bathtub until it
stops against the bathtub legs and rim.
Let the patient feel the water
with their foot.
Adjust temperature if needed.
Adjust the lift hygiene chair to an ergonomic hight for the caregiver.
Raise the bathtub. Make sure that there is enough space between the
patient’s genitals and the bottom of the bathtub.
Position lift hygiene chair
diagonally to the side of the bath.
Attach foot support if needed.
Bathe the patient.
Move the lift hygiene chair towards the
bath. Lift the patient legs over the bathtub
rim while rotating the lift into place.

Press the Autofill button. Check the
water temperature with a bare hand.
Adjust temperature if needed.

Bathe patient with lift bath trolley
Adjust the lift bath trolley to an ergonomic hight for the caregiver.
Raise the bathtub until the stretcher is touching the bottom of the bathtub.
Raise the lift hygiene chair enough
to give space between the patient’s
genitals and the bathtub rim.
Position the lift bath trolley behind
and to the side of the bath.
Raise the lift bath trolley stretcher
enough to clear the edge of the bathtub.
Move the lift bath trolley with patient
diagonally in over the bathtub rim.
Centre the trolley until it stops
against the bathtub legs and rim.

Attach foot support if needed.

Install the suction cover
before use.
Fill up with water to cover the
Hydromassage system outlet
(A) and top sensor (B).
Adjust the direction
of the water-jet.
Press the Hydrosound system
button. The default runtime is
15 minutes.

After treatment,
turn off the
Hydromassage
system.
After treatment, press the Hydromassage
system button to turn the Hydromassage
system off.
Never use
when pregnant.
Risk of
burns and
hearing

Do not touch the Transducer
Plate and keep patients
head above water.
Fill up with water to cover the
Hydrosound system Transducer Plate.
Add Hydrosoundwater conditioner.
Shower the patient

Open the drain. Raise the back rest. Let the
patient hold on to the hand rest.
Take the shower handle. Press the shower
button. Direct the shower handle away from
the patient.
Unlock the shower handle trigger if
lock button is activated.
Press the shower button.
Return the shower handle.
Let the patient feel the water by hand
before directing the water stream on the
patient. Adjust temperature if needed.
Risk of scalding
Shower the patient.
Press the trigger on the shower handle.
Check the water temperature with a bare
hand. Adjust temperature if needed.
Lower the bathtub to its lowest height.

turn off the
Hydrosound
system.
Adjust the
Hydrosound intensity.

End the bath
Dry the patient. Keep the patient warm using
towels or a bathrobe.
Lower the bathtub to its lowest height.
Risk of
pinching
Raise the lift hygiene chair enough to give space
between the patient’s genitals and the bathtub rim.
Help the patient to move the legs over the rim
while rotating the lift away from the bathtub.
Make sure there is enough space between
the bathtub side and lift hygiene chair.
Lower the lift hygiene chair.
Dry the remaining wet areas.

Press the Hydromassage system button.
The default runtime is 15 minutes.
Start with low intensity. Adjust if needed.
After each patient:
clean and disinfect the
bathtub according to
the instructions in the
IFU or Cleaning and
disinfection QRG.
