Never install a child restraint in a passenger seat where

Placethechildcar seat in a suitable forward-facingposition.
Push the backrest until it rests at against the vehicle seat back.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT recline thechildseat’s backrestbeyondthe allowable
adjustablerange.Ifyouhearaloud “click” whilst adjustingthe backrest, thenyouhave
gone pasttheallowable range.

Reclining the vehicle seat may adversely aect the position of the vehicle seat
belt acrossthechildand mayresultindeathorseriousinjuryduring acrash.Refer
toyourvehicleowner’s manualfor adjusting thevehicle seat backwithchild
seats.
Placeyourchildinthe seat. Checktheheightandwidthofthechildseat.Ifnecessary
adjusttheheadrest(seestep7).
To adjust the height, width and t of the child car seat, squeeze the adjustment handle
(I) onthebackof theheadrestandmove theheadrestupordowntooneofitseleven
positions, until the correct height and width is achieved. Once the right t is found,
releasethehandleandcheckthe headrestto ensure itislockedintoposition.
