DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Lo smonta ammortizzatori pneumatico è destinato al seguente uso:
• Smontaggio e montaggio di ammortizzatori per autoveicoli, SUV e veicoli commerciali
• è possibile l’impiego anche in luoghi aperti evitando di esporre direttamente lo smonta ammortizzatori
a intemperie o ai raggi solari
Non sono consentite le seguenti operazioni:
• è vietato l’utilizzo per ammortizzatori industriali
• è vietato l’utilizzo dalle prescrizioni tecniche indicate nella tabella DATI TECNICI
• è vietato l’uso in ambienti contenenti atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive
• è vietato l’uso per tutte quelle applicazioni diverse da quelle indicate
SICUREZZA DELLA POSTAZIONE DI LAVORO
Utilizzare lo smonta ammortizzatori su un pavimento con supercie piana. Fissare lo smonta
ammortizzatori a terra utilizzando i quattro fori presenti nella base della struttura.
Non utilizzare lo smonta ammortizzatori in ambienti contenenti atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive
perché possono svilupparsi scintille in grado di incendiare polveri o vapori.
E’ consigliabile evitare il contatto con apparecchiature in tensione, in quanto possono causare una
scossa elettrica.
Impedire che bambini o visitatori possano avvicinarsi alla postazione di lavoro mentre si sta
operando con lo smonta ammortizzatore. La presenza di altre persone provoca distrazione e può
comportare la perdita del controllo durante l’utilizzo.
Per garantire la sicurezza durante l’impiego dello smonta ammortizzatori, l’utilizzo è consentito
ad una sola persona.
SICUREZZA SMONTA AMMORTIZZATORE
• Controllare prima dell’utilizzo che lo smonta ammortizzatori non abbia subito danneggiamenti, che non
vi siano perdite di aria, o parti usurate.
• Non sovraccaricare lo smonta ammortizzatori. Il sovraccarico può causare danni o rotture al smonta
ammortizzatori stesso.
IMPORTANTE LEGGERE COMPLETAMENTE IL PRESENTE MANUALE
PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE LO SMONTA AMMORTIZZATORI. IN CASO DI
MANCATO RISPETTO DELLE NORME DI SICUREZZA E DELLE
ISTRUZIONI OPERATIVE, POSSONO VERIFICARSI SERI INFORTUNI.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO I
• Controllare raccordi di collegamento e tubazioni di alimentazione. Tutti i gruppi, i giunti e i tubi essibili
devono essere installati conformemente ai dati tecnici relativamente alla pressione e usso d’aria. Una
pressione troppo bassa pregiudica il funzionamento della macchina, una pressione alta può causare
danni e/o lesioni.
• Evitare di piegare o stringere tubi essibili, evitare l’uso di solventi e spigoli taglienti. Proteggere i tubi
dal calore, olio e parti rotanti. Sostituire immediatamente un tubo essibile danneggiato.
Una tubazione di alimentazione difettosa può provocare movimenti incontrollati della macchina.
Accertarsi che le fascette per tubi essibili siano sempre bene ssate.
INDICAZIONE PER LA SICUREZZA DEL PERSONALE
• Si raccomanda la massima attenzione, avendo cura di concentrarsi sempre sulle proprie azioni. Non
utilizzare lo smonta ammortizzatore in caso di stanchezza o sotto l’effetto di droghe, bevande
alcoliche o medicinali.
• Durante le operazioni di smontaggio o montaggio fare attenzione alla posizione delle mani, onde
evitare possibili schiacciamenti.
• Lo smonta ammortizzatori funziona solo con la griglia di protezione “FULL BODY” completamente chiusa.
Utilizzare sempre i seguenti dispositivi individuale di protezione:
• Scarpe di sicurezza
• Occhiali di protezione;
• Guanti di protezione per agenti sici
• Avere cura di mettersi in posizione sicura mantenendo l’equilibrio in ogni momento. Una posizione
di lavoro sicura ed un’adatta postura del corpo permettono di poter controllare meglio le situazioni
inaspettate.
• Non indossare vestiti larghi, ne portare bracciali e catenine. Tenere i capelli e i vestiti lontano da parti
in movimento. Vestiti larghi, gioielli o capelli lunghi possono impigliarsi nelle parti in movimento.
UTILIZZO ACCURATO DELLO SMONTA AMMORTIZZATORI
• Non sottoporre lo smonta ammortizzatori a sovraccarico, vericandone sempre l’integrità.
• Assicurarsi che la molla sia trattenuta correttamente nella rispettiva staffa in modo da evitare
l’eventuale slamento improvviso.
• Non permettere di usare lo smonta ammortizzatore a persone che non abbiano letto le presenti istruzioni.
• Lo smonta ammortizzatore non deve essere modicato. Le modiche possono ridurre o annullare
l’efcacia delle misure di sicurezza ed aumentare i rischi per l’operatore.
• Effettuare accuratamente la verica dello smonta ammortizzatori, accertandosi che parti mobili della
macchina funzionino perfettamente, che non si inceppino e che non vi siano pezzi rotti o danneggiati
al punto da pregiudicarne il funzionamento.
• Far riparare lo smonta ammortizzatori solo ed esclusivamente da personale specializzato e
solo impiegando pezzi di ricambio originali.
• Ogni 200 cicli di utilizzo o ogni 3 mesi circa rimuovere lo sporco e la polvere accumulata sulle parti di
scorrimento (colonna) con un panno asciutto.
INDICAZIONI DI SICUREZZA PER LO SMONTA AMMORTIZZATORE
• Assicurarsi che le staffe siano state posizionate e ssate correttamente in funzione della molla da
smontare.
• Periodicamente effettuare una verica completa dello smonta ammortizzatore, accertandosi che ogni
suo componente sia integro e perfettamente funzionante.

• Nel caso di un’interruzione dell’alimentazione dell’aria oppure una pressione di esercizio ridotta,
spegnere la macchina. Controllare la pressione d’esercizio ed a pressione d’esercizio ottimale avviare
di nuovo.
DISPOSITIVI DI PROTEZIONE INDIVIDUALI PREVISTI DURANTE L’UTILIZZO DELLO SMONTA
AMMORTIZZATORI
La mancata osservanza delle seguenti avvertenze può causare lesioni siche e/o patologie.
Collegamento alimentazione dell’aria
Per un utilizzo corretto dello smonta ammortizzatore rispettare sempre la pressione di esercizio, mi-
surata all’ingresso della macchina. Alimentare la machina con aria pulita e priva di condensa. Una
pressione troppo elevata o la presenza di umidità nell’aria di alimentazione riducono la durata delle parti
meccaniche e possono causare danni alla macchina.
UTILIZZO
Smontaggio / Rimontaggio
Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare lo smonta ammortizzatori, assicurar-
si che lo stesso sia stato ben ssato a terra utilizzando i quattro fori
presenti nella base della struttura (g. 1).
Controllare il corretto funzionamento dello smonta ammortizzatore
effettuando una serie di manovre, a vuoto, attraverso la leva di
comando.
NOTA: Lo smonta ammortizzatori è dotato di un gancio di sicurezza, per poter effettuare qualunque tipo
di manovra attraverso la leva di comando, deve essere serrata la ghiera situata sul retro del gancio,
avvitare la ghiera in modo da attivare il sistema di sicurezza pneumatico.
Per lo smontaggio dell’ammortizzatore procedere nel modo seguente:
• Aprire la griglia di protezione, sganciando il perno di chiusura.
• Applicare la staffa inferiore adeguata all’ammortizzatore
che si desidera smontare, inserendo i perni della staffa nelle
apposite asole.
• Posizionare l’ammortizzatore sulla staffa inferiore nella prima
spira, ruotare l’ammortizzatore no al punto in cui la staffa si
incastra nel punto massimo di scorrimento (g. 2-3)
• Chiudere la griglia di protezione.

• Avvicinare i braccetti oscillanti alla molla e successivamente inserire i morsetti
superiori sulla prima spirale utile, utilizzando la leva di comando (g. 4)
• Dopo aver effettuato il giusto posizionamento della molla sulla staffa, e aver
posizionato i morsetti superiori, inserire il gancio di sicurezza agganciandolo
alla prima spirale utile (g. 5)
• Serrare la ghiera situata sul retro del gancio, avvitando la ghiera
completamente in modo da attivare il sistema di sicurezza pneumatico (g. 6).
• Agendo sulla leva di comando manuale dello smonta ammortizzatori, comprimere
la molla, solamente no a liberare la pressione che la molla esercita sul cappellotto.
• Evitare di portare la molla a pacco.
• Togliere il cappellotto di fermo dell’ammortizzatore svitando l’apposito dado.
• Scaricare la compressione della molla.
• L’ammortizzatore è stato svincolato dalla molla e può essere slato per la
sostituzione.
Per il rimontaggio dell’ammortizzatore procedere nel modo seguente:
• Inserire l’ammortizzatore nuovo nella sua molla.
•Agire sulla leva di comando manuale sino a far aderire la molla al cappellotto di fermo.
• Bloccare il cappellotto allo stelo dell’ammortizzatore, stringendo l’apposito dado.
• Agire sulla leva di comando manuale sino a liberare il gancio di sicurezza ed
in seguito svincolare completamente la molla.
• Spostare verso l’esterno i braccetti mobili
• Aprire la griglia di protezione, sganciando il perno di chiusura.
• Togliere l’ammortizzatore ricomposto.
Le operazioni di smontaggio e rimontaggio possono essere effettuate anche
utilizzando la morsa per smonta ammortizzatori. La morsa deve essere posizio-
nata sullo smonta ammortizzatori inserendo i perni nelle apposite asole. Bloc-
care lo stelo dell’ammortizzatore nella morsa e procedere con le operazioni di
smontaggio e rimontaggio.
Al termine delle lavorazioni, mettere in sicurezza lo smonta ammortizzatore staccando l’alimentazione dell’aria.
Lubricazione/Ingrassaggio
Ogni 3 mesi circa, rimuovere eventuali depositi accumulati, polvere, terra, ecc., dalla colonna di scorrimento con
un panno asciutto. All’occorrenza ingrassare solamente con lubricante a base siliconica in minima quantità.
Non utilizzare mai olio, prodotti detergenti o sbloccanti sulle parti di scorrimento (colonne).
E’ indispensabile collegare l’utensile pneumatico ad un gruppo ltro-lubricatore di linea “si consiglia
art. Beta 1919F1/4” a micronebbia, regolato a due gocce al minuto. In questo caso si avrà una ridotta
usura delle parti meccaniche.
MANUTENZIONE
Gli interventi di manutenzione straordinaria e di riparazione devono essere eseguiti da personale spe-
cializzato. Per tali interventi potete rivolgervi ai centri di riparazioni di Beta Utensili.
SMALTIMENTO
Lo smonta ammortizzatori deve essere smaltito in ottemperanza alle disposizioni di leggi vigenti nel
Paese di utilizzo.
GARANZIA
Questa attrezzatura è fabbricata e collaudata secondo le norme attualmente vigenti nella Comunità Europea.
E’ coperta da garanzia per un periodo di 12 mesi per uso professionale o 24 mesi per uso non professionale.
Vengono riparati guasti dovuti a difetti di materiale o di produzione, mediante ripristino o sostituzione dei pezzi
difettosi a nostra discrezione. L’effettuazione di uno o più interventi nel periodo di garanzia non modica la
data di scadenza della stessa. Non sono soggetti a garanzia difetti dovuti all’usura, all’uso errato od improprio
e a rotture causate da colpi e/o cadute. La garanzia decade quando vengono apportate modiche, quando
l’utensile pneumatico viene manomesso o quando viene inviato all’assistenza smontato. Sono espressamen-
te esclusi danni causati a persone e/o cose di qualsiasi genere e/o natura, diretti e/o indiretti.

PURPOSE OF USE
The pneumatic shock absorber removal tool can be used for the following purposes
• Removing and installing shock absorbers for cars, SUVs and commercial vehicles
• The shock absorber removal tool can also be used in open places, provided that it is not exposed
to bad weather and sunlight
The pneumatic shock absorber removal tool must not be used for the following operations:
• The shock absorber removal tool must not be used for industrial shock absorbers
• The shock absorber removal tool must not be used in environments containing potentially explosive
atmospheres
• The shock absorber removal tool must not be used for any applications other than the stated ones
WORK AREA SAFETY
Use the shock absorber removal tool on a oor with a at surface. Fix the shock absorber removal
tool to the ground, using the four holes in the base of the frame.
Do not operate the shock absorber removal tool in environments containing potentially explosive
atmospheres, because sparks may be generated, which can ignite the dust or fumes.
Contact with live equipment should be avoided, as electric shocks may be caused.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the shock absorber
removal tool. Distractions from other people can cause you to lose control during use.
To guarantee safety during use, the shock absorber removal tool should be operated
by one person.
SHOCK ABSORBER REMOVAL TOOL SAFETY
• Before use, check that the shock absorber removal tool has not been damaged, and that there are
no air leaks or worn parts.
• Do not overload the shock absorber removal tool. Overloads may cause damage or breaks to
the shock absorber removal tool.
IMPORTANT! READ THIS MANUAL THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THE
SHOCK ABSORBER REMOVAL TOOL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE
SAFETY STANDARDS AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT
IN SERIOUS INJURY.
CAUTION

• Check the connections and the air supply lines. All units, couplers and hoses should conform to the
product specications in terms of pressure and air volume. Too low pressure impairs the function of the
machine; too high pressure can cause damage and/or injury.
• Do not bend or tighten any hoses; avoid using solvents and sharp edges. Keep the hoses away from
heat, oil and rotating parts. Immediately replace any damaged hose. A defective feed pipe may cause
uncontrolled movements of the machine. Make sure that the hose clamps are always secured rmly.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
• Stay alert; watch what you are doing. Do not use the shock absorber removal tool while tired or under the
inuence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
• When installing or removing any shock absorbers, check the position of your hands, to avoid crushing
them.
• The shock absorber removal tool can only be operated when the protective “FULL BODY” grid
is completely closed.
Always use the following personal protective equipment:
• Safety shoes;
• Eye protection;
• Protective gloves against physical agents.
• Make sure you are in a safe position, keeping proper balance at all times. A safe working position
and a proper body posture enable better control in unexpected situations.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts.
Loose clothing, jewellery, and long hair can get caught in moving parts.
SHOCK ABSORBER REMOVAL TOOL USE AND CARE
• Do not overload the shock absorber removal tool; always check that it is free from defects.
• Make sure that the spring is correctly held in the bracket, to prevent it from being suddenly pulled out.
• Do not allow persons unfamiliar with these instructions to operate the shock absorber removal tool.
• Do not modify the shock absorber removal tool. This can reduce or nullify the effectiveness of safety
measures and increase operator risk.
• Maintain the shock absorber removal tool with care. Check for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage or damage of parts or any other condition that may affect the operation of the tool.
• Have the shock absorber removal tool repaired only through a trained repair person and only using
original replacement parts.
• Every 200 operating cycles or approximately every 3 months, remove dirt and dust from the sliding
parts (column) with a dry cloth.
SHOCK ABSORBER REMOVAL TOOL SAFETY
• Make sure that the brackets have been correctly placed and xed, depending on the spring to remove.
• Periodically perform a complete check of the shock absorber removal tool, making sure that
all the parts are intact and perfectly efcient.
• Turn off the machine in case of air supply failure or low operating pressure. Check the operating
pressure; turn on the machine again when optimal operating pressure is resumed.

REMOVAL TOOL
Failure to observe the following warnings may result in physical injury and/or disease.
Air supply connection
For correct use of the shock absorber removal tool, always keep to the operating pressure, as measu-
red at the machine inlet. Feed the machine with clean, condensate-free air. Excessively high pressure
or humidity in supply air results in shorter life for the mechanical parts and may damage the machine.
USE
Removal / Installation
Before using the shock absorber removal tool, make sure that it has been correctly xed to the ground,
using the four holes in the base of the frame (g. 1).
Check that the shock absorber removal tool runs correctly,
performing several idle operations through the control lever.
NB:
The shock absorber removal tool is tted with a safety hook. For
any operations to be performed through the control lever, the ring
nut on the back of the hook should be tightened. Screw up the ring
nut to start the pneumatic safety system.
Remove the shock absorber as follows:
• Open the protective grid, releasing the locking pin.
• Apply the lower bracket suitable for the shock absorber to remove, tting the pins of the bracket into
the proper slots.
• Place the shock absorber on the lower bracket in the rst turn; rotate the shock absorber until
the bracket ts into the maximum sliding point (g. 2-3).
• Close the protective grid.
• Bring the oscillating arms near the spring; afterwards t
the upper clamps onto the rst usable turn, through the control
lever (g. 4).
• After correctly placing the spring on the bracket, and
positioning the upper clamps, t the safety hook onto the rst
usable turn (g. 5).

• Tighten the ring nut on the back of the hook, screwing up the ring nut to start
the pneumatic safety system (g. 6).
• Compress the spring through the manual control lever of the shock absorber
removal tool, only to release the pressure the spring exerts on the cap.
• Do not compress the spring completely.
• Remove the blocking cap from the shock absorber, unscrewing the nut.
• Discharge the compression of the spring.
• The shock absorber has been released from the spring and can be pulled
out to be replaced.
Install the shock absorber as follows:
• Fit the new shock absorber into its spring.
• Press the manual control lever to make the spring stick to the blocking cap.
• Block the cap to the shaft of the shock absorber, screwing in the proper nut.
• Use the manual control lever to relieve the safety hook; then release
the spring completely.
• Move the arms to the outside.
• Open the protective grid, releasing the closing pin.
• Remove the shock absorber thus reassembled.
Shock absorbers can also be removed and installed by using a vice for shock absorber
removal tools. The vice should be placed on the shock absorber removal tool
by tting the pins into the proper slots. Block the shaft of the shock absorber in
the vice and carry out the removal and installation operations.
When the operations are complete, de-risk the shock absorber removal tool by
disconnecting the air supply.
Lubrication/Greasing
Approximately every 3 months, remove accumulated deposits, dust, earth etc. from the sliding column with a
dry cloth. Grease only with a silicone based lubricant in minimal amounts when needed.
Never use oil, detergents or releasers on the sliding parts (columns).
The pneumatic tool must be connected to a lter-lubricator unit (we recommend Beta item 1919F1/4) provided
with an air-oil microfog mixer, set at two drops per minute. This will result in a high-performing tool and
wear-resistant mechanical parts.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and repair jobs must be carried out by trained personnel. For such jobs, you can contact
Beta Utensili S.P.A.'s repair centre.
DISPOSAL
The shock absorber removal tool must be disposed of in accordance with the laws in force in the country
where it is used.
WARRANTY
This tool is manufactured and tested in accordance with current EU regulations, and is covered by a 12-month
warranty for professional use or a 24-month warranty for nonprofessional use.
We will repair any breakdowns caused by material or manufacturing defects by xing the defective pieces or
replacing them at our discretion.
Should assistance be required once or several times during the warranty period, the expiry date of this war-
ranty will remain unchanged.
This warranty will not cover defects due to wear, misuse or breakdowns caused by blows and/or falls. In ad-
dition, this warranty will no longer be valid if any changes are made, or if the pneumatic tool is forced or sent
to the customer service in pieces.
This warranty explicitly excludes any damage to people and/or things, whether direct or consequential.

L'outil pneumatique de démontage amortisseurs est destiné à l'utilisation suivante:
• démontage et montage amortisseurs pour automobiles, SUV et véhicules commerciaux ;
• il est possible de l'utiliser également en extérieur en évitant d'exposer l'outil de démontage
amortisseurs directement aux intempéries ou aux rayons du soleil.
Les opérations suivantes ne sont pas autorisées:
• il est interdit de l'utiliser pour les amortisseurs industriels ;
• il est interdit de l'utiliser dans des lieux contenant des atmosphères potentiellement explosives ;
• il est interdit de l'utiliser pour toutes les applications non envisagées dans les présentes instructions.
SÉCURITÉ DU POSTE DE TRAVAIL
Utiliser l'outil de démontage amortisseurs sur un sol dont la surface est parfaitement plate.
Fixer l'outil de démontage amortisseurs au sol en utilisant les quatre trous présents sur la
base de la structure.
Ne pas utiliser l'outil de démontage amortisseurs dans des milieux contenant des atmosphères
potentiellement explosives car des étincelles peuvent donner feu aux poussières ou vapeurs.
Il est conseillé d'éviter le contact avec des appareils sous tension, car ils peuvent provoquer une
secousse électrique.
Empêcher que des enfants ou des visiteurs puissent s'approcher du poste de travail pendant
l'utilisation de l’outil de démontage amortisseurs. La présence d'autres personnes peut distraire et
comporter la perte du contrôle pendant l'utilisation.
Pour garantir la sécurité pendant l'emploi de l'outil de démontage amortisseurs, une seule personne
est autorisée à l'utiliser.

• Contrôler les branchements et les câbles d’alimentation. Tous les groupes, les raccords et les tuyaux
exibles doivent être installés conformément aux données techniques relatives à la pression et au
débit d’air. Une pression trop basse empêche le fonctionnement de la machine, une forte pression peut
provoquer des dommages et/ou des lésions.
• Éviter de plier ou de serrer les tuyaux exibles. Éviter l’utilisation de solvants et de bords coupants.
Protéger les tuyaux contre la chaleur, l’huile et les pièces tournantes. Remplacer immédiatement les
tuyaux exibles endommagés. Un tuyau d’alimentation défectueux peut provoquer des mouvements
incontrôlés de la machine. S’assurer que les colliers pour tuyaux exibles soient toujours bien xés.
RECOMMANDATIONS POUR LA SÉCURITÉ DU PERSONNEL
• La plus grande attention doit être apportée aux actions effectuées. Ne pas utiliser l’outil de démontage
amortisseurs en cas de fatigue ou sous l’effet de drogues, de boissons alcooliques ou de médicaments.
• Lors des opérations de démontage ou de montage, faire attention à la position des mains an d'éviter les
possibles écrasements.
• L'outil de démontage amortisseurs fonctionne uniquement avec la grille de protection “FULL BODY”
complètement fermée.
Utiliser systématiquement les équipements de protection individuelle suivants:
• chaussures de sécurité;
• lunettes de protection;
• gants de protection contre les agents physiques.
• Se placer en position sûre en veillant à ne jamais perdre l’équilibre. Une position de travail sûre et une
posture correcte du corps permettent le plein contrôle en cas de situations imprévues.
• Ne pas porter de vêtements larges. Ne pas porter de bracelets ou de chaînettes. Faire en sorte que
la chevelure et les vêtements soient toujours loin des parties en mouvement. Les vêtements larges,
les bijoux ou les cheveux longs peuvent être entraînés dans les parties en mouvement.
UTILISATION ATTENTIVE DE L'OUTIL DE DÉMONTAGE AMORTISSEURS
• Ne pas soumettre l'outil de démontage amortisseurs à des surcharges et en vérier systématiquement
l'intégrité.
• S'assurer que le ressort soit correctement retenu dans son étrier de sorte à en éviter la sortie soudaine.
• Ne pas permettre aux personnes qui n’ont pas lu les présentes instructions d’utiliser l’outil de
démontage amortisseurs.
• L'outil de démontage amortisseurs ne doit pas être modié. Les modications peuvent réduire
l’efcacité des mesures de sécurité et augmenter les risques pour l'opérateur.
• Effectuer soigneusement le contrôle de l’outil de démontage amortisseurs en s’assurant que les
parties mobiles de la machine fonctionnent parfaitement, qu’elles ne se bloquent pas et qu’il n’y ait pas
d’éléments cassés ou endommagés susceptibles d’en empêcher le fonctionnement.
• Faire réparer l’outil de démontage amortisseurs seulement et exclusivement par un personnel
spécialisé et en utilisant uniquement des pièces de rechange originales.
• Tous les 200 cycles d'utilisation ou tous les 3 mois, éliminer les accumulations de souillure et de
poussière sur les parties mobiles (colonnes) à l'aide d'un chiffon propre.
INDICATIONS DE SÉCURITÉ POUR L'OUTIL DE DÉMONTAGE AMORTISSEURS
• S'assurer que les étriers aient été correctement positionnés et xés en fonction du ressort à démonter
• Effectuer périodiquement un contrôle complet de l'outil de démontage amortisseurs en s'assurant que chacun
de ses composants soit intègre et parfaitement fonctionnant.

• En cas d’interruption de l’arrivée d’air ou d’une pression de fonctionnement réduite, arrêter la machine.
Contrôler la pression d’exercice et remettre en marche lorsque la pression redevient optimale.

Le non-respect des recommandations suivantes peut causer des lésions physiques
et/ou des pathologies.
Branchement à l’arrivée d’air
Pour une utilisation correcte de l’outil de démontage amortisseurs, respecter toujours la pression de
fonctionnement, mesurée à l’entrée de la machine. Alimenter la machine avec de l’air propre et sans
condensation. Une pression trop élevée ou la présence d’humidité dans l’air d’alimentation réduisent la
durée des pièces mécaniques et peuvent causer des dommages à la machine.
UTILISATION
Démontage / Remontage
Avant de commencer à utiliser l'outil de démontage amortisseurs,
s'assurer que ce dernier ait bien été xé au sol en utilisant les
quatre trous présents sur la base de la structure (g. 1).
Contrôler le bon fonctionnement de l'outil de démontage amortis-
seurs en effectuant une série de manœuvres, à vide, au moyen du
levier de commande.
NOTE: l'outil de démontage amortisseurs est doté d'un crochet de sécurité, pour pouvoir effectuer tout type
de manœuvre au moyen du levier de commande, la douille située à l'arrière du crochet doit être serrée,
visser la douille pour activer le système de sécurité pneumatique.
Pour l'outil de démontage amortisseurs, procéder de la façon suivante:
• ouvrir la grille de protection en décrochant l'embout de
fermeture;
• appliquer l'étrier inférieur correspondant à l'amortisseur à
démonter en introduisant les embouts de l'étrier dans les
œillets prévus à cet effet;
• positionner l'amortisseur sur l'étrier inférieur dans la première
spirale, tourner l'amortisseur jusqu'au point où l'étrier
s'encastre dans le point maximum de course (g. 2-3);
• refermer la grille de protection;

• approcher les bras oscillants du ressort puis introduire les colliers de serrage
supérieurs en utilisant le levier de commande (g. 4);
• après avoir correctement positionner le ressort sur l'étrier et les colliers de
serrages supérieurs, introduire le crochet de sécurité en le xant à la première
spirale possible (g. 5) ;
• serrer la douille située à l'arrière du crochet, en la vissant complètement de
sorte à activer le système de sécurité pneumatique (g. 6) ;
• en agissant sur le levier de commande manuelle de l'outil de démontage
amortisseurs, comprimer le ressort pour libérer la pression que le ressort
exerce sur le chapeau de protection ;
• éviter de comprimer complètement le ressort ;
• ôter le chapeau de protection de l'amortisseur en dévissant l'écrou qui s'y trouve;
• décharger la compression du ressort;
• l’amortisseur a été libéré du ressort et peut être délé pour être remplacé;
Pour le remontage de l'amortisseur procéder de la manière suivante:
• insérer le nouvel amortisseur dans son ressort ;
• agir sur le levier de commande manuelle jusqu'à ce que le ressort adhère au
chapeau de protection ;
• bloquer le chapeau de protection sur la tige de l'amortisseur en serrant l'écrou;
• agir sur le levier de commande manuelle jusqu'à libérer le crochet de sécurité,
puis libérer complètement le ressort;
• déplacer les bras mobiles vers l'extérieur;
• ouvrir la grille de protection en décrochant l'embout de fermeture;
• ôter l'amortisseur réassemblé.
Les opérations de démontage et de remontage peuvent aussi être effectuées en utili-
sant l'étau pour démonter les amortisseurs. L'étau doit être placé sur l'outil de démon-
tage amortisseurs en introduisant les embouts dans les œillets prévus à cet effet.
Bloquer la tige de l'amortisseur dans l'étau et procéder avec les opérations de démontage et de remontage.
À la n des opérations, mettre en sécurité l'outil de démontage amortisseurs en le débranchant de l'arrivée d'air.
Lubrication/Graissage
Environ tous les 3 mois, éliminer les éventuelles accumulations de poussière, terre, etc. de la colonne à l'aide
d'un chiffon sec. En cas de besoin, graisser à l'aide d'un lubriant à base de silicone en petites quantités.
N'utiliser en aucun cas de l'huile, des produits détergents ou débloquants sur les parties mobiles (colonnes).
Pour obtenir un usage optimal, relier l’outil pneumatique à un groupe ltre-lubricateur de ligne à micro-brouillard
(art. Beta 1919F1/4) réglé à deux gouttes par minute. Dans ce cas, l’usure des pièces mécaniques sera limitée.
MAINTENANCE
Les interventions de maintenance extraordinaire et de réparation doivent être effectuées par un personnel
spécialisé. Pour ces interventions, vous pouvez vous adresser au centre des réparations de Beta Utensili S.p.A.
ÉCOULEMENT
L'outil de démontage amortisseurs doit être écoulé dans le respect des termes de la loi en vigueur dans
le pays d'utilisation.
GARANTIE
Cet outil est fabriqué et testé conformément aux normes actuellement en vigueur dans la Communauté Européen-
ne et est couvert par une garantie de 12 mois pour une utilisation professionnelle et de 24 mois pour une utilisation
non professionnelle. Toutes les pannes dues à un défaut matériel ou de production seront réparées, en ajustant
ou en remplaçant les pièces défectueuses à notre discrétion. La réalisation d’une ou de plusieurs interventions
pendant la période de garantie n’en modie pas la date d’échéance. La garantie ne couvre pas les problèmes dus

BESTIMMUNGSZWECK
Das Druckluftwerkzeug zum Ausbau von Stoßdämpfern ist für den folgenden Gebrauch bestimmt:
• Aus- und Einbau von Stoßdämpfern für Kraftfahrzeuge, SUV und Nutzfahrzeuge
• Einsatz auch im Freien, vorausgesetzt, dass das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug vor
Witterungseinüssen und Sonnenstrahlen geschützt wird
Nicht zulässig sind die folgenden Arbeitsvorgänge:
• Unzulässig ist der Gebrauch für Industriestoßdämpfer
• Unzulässig ist der Gebrauch in potentiell explosionsfähigen Umgebungen
• Unzulässig ist der Gebrauch für alle jene Anwendungen, die nicht hier aufgeführt sind
SICHERHEIT DES ARBEITSPLATZES
Verwenden Sie das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug auf einem Fußboden mit ebener Oberäche.
Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug ist unter Verwendung der vier Löcher am Untergestell der
Struktur am Boden zu befestigen.
Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug nicht in potentiell explosionsfähigen Umgebungen verwenden,
da sich Funken bilden können, die Staub oder Dämpfe entammen.
Der Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Geräten sollte vermieden werden, da diese einen
elektrischen Schlag verursachen können.
Dafür sorgen, dass sich Kinder oder Besucher nicht dem Arbeitsplatz nähern können, wenn Sie
mit dem Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug arbeiten. Der Aufenthalt anderer Personen lenkt bei
der Arbeit ab, wodurch die Kontrolle während des Gebrauchs verloren gehen könnte.
Zur Gewährleistung der Sicherheit während des Gebrauchs des Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs
darf es nur von einer Person benutzt werden.
SICHERHEIT DES STOSSDÄMPFER-AUSBAUWERKZEUGS
• Vor der Verwendung ist zu kontrollieren, dass das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug keine Beschädigun-
gen, Leckagen oder verschlissene Teile aufweist.
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug nicht überlasten. Die Überlast bzw. Überbeanspruchung kann zu
Schäden oder Brüchen am Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug führen.

• Die Anschlüsse und Luftzufuhrleitungen stets überprüfen. Alle Aggregate, Kupplungen und Schläuche
sind entsprechend den technischen Daten hinsichtlich Druck und Luftuss zu installieren. Ein zu
niedriger Druck beeinträchtigt den korrekten Betrieb der Maschine; ein zu hoher Druck führt zu
Schäden und/oder Verletzungen.
• Die Schläuche nicht biegen oder drücken, keine Lösemittel oder scharfe Kanten verwenden. Schützen
Sie die Leitungen vor Hitze, Öl und drehenden Teilen. Bei Beschädigungen eines Schlauchs ist dieser
unverzüglich zu ersetzen. Eine fehlerhafte Zufuhrleitung kann zu unkontrollierbaren Bewegungen der
Maschine führen. Sicherstellen, dass die Schellen für die Schläuche stets gut befestigt sind.
HINWEISE FÜR DIE SICHERHEIT DES PERSONALS
• Bei der Arbeit mit Druckluftwerkzeugen ist stets mit höchster Vorsicht und Konzentration vorzugehen.
Auf keinen Fall mit dem Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug arbeiten, wenn Sie müde sind oder unter
Drogen-, Alkohol- oder Medikamenteneinuss stehen.
• Während der Aus- und Einbauvorgänge auf die Position der Hände achten, um mögliche Quetschungen
zu vermeiden.
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug funktioniert nur mit dem vollständig geschlossenen Schutzgitter
“FULL BODY”.
Stets die folgenden persönlichen Sicherheitsausrüstungen tragen:
• Sicherheitsschuhe;
• Schutzbrille;
• Schutzhandschuhe gegen physikalische Einwirkungen.
• Halten Sie den Körper im Gleichgewicht und suchen Sie einen sicheren Stand. Eine sichere Arbeitsposition
und eine korrekte Körperhaltung erlauben eine bessere Kontrolle im Falle von unerwarteten Situationen.
• Keine weite Kleidung, Armbänder, Armreife und Halsketten tragen. Haare und Kleidung in Si
cherheitsabstand zu sich drehenden Teilen halten. Weite Kleidung, Schmuck oder lange Haare können
sich in den drehenden Teilen verfangen.
KORREKTER GEBRAUCH DES STOSSDÄMPFER-AUSBAUWERKZEUGS
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug keinen Überlastungen aussetzen und stets die Unversehrtheit überprüfen.
• Sicherstellen, dass die Feder korrekt in dem entsprechenden Bügel positioniert und gesichert ist, um das
eventuelle plötzliche Heraustreten zu vermeiden.
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug darf auf keinen Fall von Personen benutzt werden, die nicht die
Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug darf nicht verändert bzw. umgerüstet werden. Die Änderungen können
die Wirksamkeit der Sicherheitsvorrichtungen reduzieren und somit das Risiko für den Bediener erhöhen.
• Das Druckluftwerkzeug sorgfältig überprüfen und sicherstellen, dass die beweglichen Teile des
Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs korrekt funktionieren, sie nicht klemmen und keine Teile Brüche oder
Beschädigungen aufweisen, die den korrekten Betrieb beeinträchtigen könnten.
• Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug darf ausschließlich von Fachpersonal repariert werden, das nur
Original-Zubehörteile verwendet.
• Alle 200 Betriebszyklen oder alle 3 Monate zirka den auf den Lauf- bzw. Führungsteilen (Säule) sich
angesammelten Schmutz mit einem trockenen Tuch entfernen.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE FÜR DAS STOSSDÄMPFER-AUSBAUWERKZEUG
• Sicherstellen, dass die Bügel entsprechend der auszubauenden Feder korrekt positioniert und befestigt sind.
• In regelmäßigen Zeitabständen das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug einer kompletten Überprüfung
unterziehen und sicherstellen, dass jedes Bauteil unversehrt ist und einwandfrei funktioniert.
• Im Fall einer Unterbrechung der Luftzufuhr oder eines reduzierten Betriebsdrucks ist die Maschine
auszuschalten. Kontrollieren Sie den Betriebsdruck und bei optimalem Betriebsdruck die Maschine
erneut starten.

Die Nichtbeachtung der folgenden Warnhinweise kann zu körperlichen Verletzungen und/oder
Krankheiten führen.
Luftversorgungsanschluss
Für einen korrekten Gebrauch des Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs ist stets der Betriebsdruck zu
verwenden, der am Eingang der Maschine gemessen wird. Die Maschine mit reiner und kondensatfre-
ier Luft versorgen. Ein zu hoher Druck oder Feuchtigkeit in der Zufuhrluft reduziert die Lebensdauer der
mechanischen Teile und kann zu Schäden am Werkzeug führen.
GEBRAUCH
Ausbau / Wiedereinbau
Vor dem Gebrauch des Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs ist sicherzustellen, dass es korrekt am
Boden befestigt ist. Hierzu die vier Löcher an der Basis der Struktur
verwenden (Abb. 1).
Den korrekten Betrieb des Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs über-
prüfen. Hierzu mittels des Steuerhebels eine Reihe von Leer-
manövern durchführen.
HINWEIS:
Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug ist mit einem Sicherheitshaken
ausgestattet. Um mittels des Steuerhebels jede Art von Manöver
durchführen zu können, muss die Nutmutter auf der Rückseite des
Hakens angezogen werden. Die Nutmutter anziehen, um das pneumatische Sicherheitssystem zu
aktivieren.
Zum Ausbau des Stoßdämpfers wie folgt vorgehen:
• Das Schutzgitter öffnen, indem Sie den Verschlussbolzen aushaken.
• Den unteren Bügel, der für den Stoßdämpfer, der ausgebaut
werden soll, geeignet ist, anbringen, indem Sie die Bolzen des
Bügels in die entsprechenden Ösen einführen.
• Den Stoßdämpfer auf dem unteren Bügel in der ersten
Spiralwindung positionieren. Dann den Stoßdämpfer so weit
drehen, bis der Bügel in den maximalen Laufpunkt einrastet
(Abb. 2-3)
• Das Schutzgitter schließen.

• Die Schwenkarme der Feder nähern und dann, unter Verwendung des
Steuerhebels, die oberen Spannklemmen auf der ersten Spirale einführen
(Abb. 4).
• Nach der korrekten Positionierung der Feder auf dem Bügel und
Positionierung der oberen Spannklemmen, den Sicherheitshaken einführen
und an der ersten Spirale einhaken (Abb. 5).
• Die Nutmutter auf der Rückseite des Hakens schließen, indem Sie sie
komplett verschrauben und so das pneumatische Sicherheitssystem
aktivieren (Abb. 6).
• Durch Betätigen des manuellen Steuerhebels des
Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeugs, die Feder komprimieren, und zwar nur so
lange, bis der Druck, den die Feder auf die Abdeckkappe ausübt, freigesetzt wird.
• Das vollständige Komprimieren der Feder vermeiden.
• Die Abdeckkappe des Stoßdämpfers durch Abschrauben der entsprechenden
Mutter entfernen.
• Die Kompression der Feder ablassen.
• Der Stoßdämpfer wurde von der Feder befreit und kann für den Austausch
herausgezogen werden.
Für den Wiedereinbau des Stoßdämpfers wie folgt vorgehen:
• Den neuen Stoßdämpfer in seine Feder einsetzen.
• Den Steuerhebel betätigen, bis die Feder an der Anschlagkappe anhaftet.
• Die Kappe am Schaft des Stoßdämpfers durch Anziehen der entsprechenden
Mutter blockieren.
• Den manuellen Steuerhebel betätigen, bis der Sicherheitshaken befreit wird.
Danach die Feder vollkommen befreien.
• Die Schwenkarme nach außen verschieben.
• Das Schutzgitter öffnen, indem Sie den Verschlusszapfen aushaken.
• Den wiederzusammengesetzten Stoßdämpfer entfernen.
DieAus-undWiedereinbauvorgängekönnenauchunterVerwendungdesSchraubstocksfürStoßdämpfe-
rausbau durchgeführt werden. Der Schraubstock muss auf dem Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug aufge-
setzt werden, indem Sie die Bolzen in die entsprechenden Ösen einführen. Den Stoßdämpferschaft im
Schraubstock blockieren und mit den Aus- und Wiedereinbauvorgängen beginnen.
Am Ende der Arbeiten das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug durch Trennen der Druckluft absichern.
Schmierung/Einfetten
Etwa alle 3 Monate sind eventuelle Ablagerungen von Schmutz, Staub, Erde mit einem trockenen Tuch
von der Führungssäule zu entfernen. Sofern notwendig nur mit ganz wenig Schmiermittel aus
Silikonbasis einfetten.
Niemals Öl, Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel auf den Lauf- bzw. Führungsteilen (Säulen) verwenden.
Für einen einwandfreien Betrieb sollte das Druckluftwerkzeug unbedingt an einer Wartungseinheit mit
Mikronebelöler (wir empfehlen Art. 1919F1/4) angeschlossen werden, die auf zwei Tropfen pro Minute
eingestellt ist. Diese Zubehörteile sorgen für höheres Leistungsvermögen bei geringerem Verschleiß
der mechanischen Bauteile.
WARTUNG
Die außerordentliche Wartungs- und Reparatureingriffe sind von Fachpersonal durchzuführen.
Für diese Arbeiten können Sie sich ans Reparaturzentrum von Beta Utensili S.p.A. wenden.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Stoßdämpfer-Ausbauwerkzeug muss in Übereinstimmung der im Benutzerland geltenden
Gesetzesbestimmungen entsorgt werden.
