Precauzioni speciali - Leggere attentamente
• Scollegare il cavo della batteria dal polo negativo di terra (vericare il codice radio
se disponibile)
• Rimuovere le candele o le candelette per facilitare la rotazione del motore
• Non utilizzare detersive liquidi su cinghie, pignoni o tensionatori
• Segnare il senso di rotazione della cinghia ausiliaria prima di rimuoverla
• Ruotare il motore in senso orario (antiorario solo se specicato)
• Non ruotare mai l’albero a camme, l’albero motore o la pompa d’iniezione diesel
quando la catena è già stata rimossa (a meno che non sia specicato)
• Non utilizzare la catena di distribuzione per bloccare il motore quando si allentano o
si stringono i bulloni della puleggia dell’albero motore
• Non ruotare l’albero motore o l’albero a camme quando la cinghia / catena è già
stata rimossa
• Prima di rimuovere la catena, segnare la sua direzione
• È sempre consigliato ruotare il motore lentamente manualmente e rivericare il
posizionamento dell’albero motore e dell’albero a camme
• Gli alberi a camme e motore possono essere ruotati solamente quando il meccani
smo di azionamento della catena / cinghia è completamente installato.
• Non ruotare il motore azionando l’albero a camme o altri ingranaggi
• Vericare la corretta posizione della pompa d’iniezione diesel dopo aver sostituito la
catena
• Osservare tutte le coppie di serraggio
• Attenersi sempre al manuale della casa costruttrice o al libretto d’istruzioni fornito
• Una fasatura del motore non precisa o sbagliata comporta il danneggiamento delle
valvole

Safety Precautions - Please read
• Disconnect the battery earth leads (check radio code is available)
• Remove spark or glow plugs to make the engine turn easier
• Do not use cleaning uids on belts, sprockets or rollers
• Always make a note of the route of the auxiliary drive belt before removal
• Turn the engine in the normal direction (clockwise unless stated otherwise)
• Do not turn the camshaft, crankshaft or diesel injection pump once the timing chain
has been removed (unlessspecically stated)
• Do not use the timing chain to lock the engine when slackening or tightening cran
Nkshaft pulley bolts
• Do not turn the crankshaft or camshaft when the timing belt/chain has been remo
ved
• Mark the direction of the chain before removing
• It is always recommended to turn the engine slowly, by hand and to re-check the
camshaft and crankshaft timing positions.
• Crankshafts and Camshafts may only be turned with the chain drive mechanism
fully installed.
• Do not turn crankshaft via camshaft or other gears
• Check the diesel injection pump timing after replacing the chain
• Observe all tightening torques
• Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s service manual or a suitable proprietary
instruction book
• Incorrect or out of phase engine timing can result in damage to the valves

Précautions spéciales - Lire attentivement
• Débrancher le câble de la batterie du pôle négatif de terre (vérier le code radio si
disponible)
• Enlever les bougies an de faciliter la rotation du moteur
• Ne pas utiliser de détergents liquides sur les courroies, les pignons et les tension
neurs
• Indiquer le sens de rotation de la courroie auxiliaire avant de l’enlever
• Faire tourner le moteur dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre (contraire seule
ment si spécié)
• Ne jamais faire tourner l’arbre à cames, l’arbre moteur ou la pompe d’injection
diesel lorsque la chaîne a déjà été enlevé (à moins que ce soit spécié)
• Ne pas utiliser la chaîne de distribution pour bloquer le moteur quand les boulons
de la poulie de l’arbre moteur se serrent ou se desserrent
• Ne pas faire tourner l’arbre moteur ou l’arbre à came lorsque la courroie/chaîne a
déjà été enlevée
• Avant d’enlever la chaîne, indiquer sa direction
• Il est toujours conseillé de faire tourner lentement le moteur de façon manuelle et
de revérier le positionnement de l’arbre moteur et de l’arbre à cames.
• Les arbres à cames et moteur peuvent être tournée seulement lorsque le mécani
sme d’actionnement de la chaîne/courroie est complètement installé.
• Ne pas faire tourner le moteur en actionnant l’arbre à cames ou d’autres engrenges
• Vérier la position correcte de la pompe d’injection diesel après avoir remplacé la
chaîne
• Observer tous les couples de serrage
• Toujours se reporter au manuel de maison constructrice ou au mode d’emploi fourni
• Une synchronisation du moteur imprécise ou raté entraîne l’endommagement des
vannes

Spezielle Vorsichtsmaßnahmen - aufmerksam durchlesen
• Klemmen Sie das Batteriekabel von Minuspol der Erde ab (überprüfen Sie den
Funkcode, falls vorhanden)
• Entfernen Sie die Zündkerzen oder Glühkerzen, um die Drehung des Motors zu
vereinfachen
• Benutzen Sie keine unterschiedlichen Flüssigkeiten auf den Riemen, den Ritzeln
oder Spannern
• Zeichnen Sie die Drehrichtung des Hilfsriemens auf, bevor Sie ihn entfernen
• Drehen sie den Motor in Uhrzeigersinn (in Gegenuhrzeigersinn nur wenn spezi
ziert)
• Drehen sie nie die Nockenwelle, die Motorwelle oder die Dieseleinspritzpumpe,
wenn die Kette bereits entfernt wurde (sofern dies nicht speziziert wurde)
• Benutzen Sie nicht die Verteilerkette, um dien Motor zu blockieren, wenn die Bolzen
der Scheibe der Motorwelle gelockert oder angezogen werden
• Drehen Sie nicht die Motorwelle oder die Nockenwelle, wenn der Riemen/die Kette
bereits entfernt wurde
• Vor Entfernung der Kette, markieren Sie die Drehrichtung auf
• Es ist immer ratsam den Motor langsam von Hand zu drehen und erneut die Stel
lung der Motorwelle und der Nockenwelle zu überprüfen
• Die Nockenwellen und Motorwellen können nur dann gedreht werden, wenn der
Antriebsmechanismus der Kette / des Riemens vollständig installiert ist.
• Drehen Sie den Motor über die Nockenwelle oder andere Getriebeteile
• Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Stellung der Dieseleinspritzpumpe nachdem Sie die
Kette ersetzt haben
• Beobachten Sie alle Anzugsmomente
• Halten Sie sich immer an das Handbuch der Herstellerrma oder an das mitgeliefer
te Anweisungsblatt
• Eine nicht genaue oder falsche Einstellung des Motors führt zur Beschädigung der
Ventile

Precauciones especiales - Lea atentamente
• Desconecte el cable de la batería del polo negativo de tierra (verique el código
radio si estuviese disponible)
• Extraiga las bujías para facilitar la rotación del motor
• No utilice detergentes líquidos sobre correas, piñones o tensores
• Marque el sentido de rotación de la correa auxiliar antes de extraerla
• Gire el motor en sentido horario (antihorario solo si se especica)
• En ningún caso gire el árbol de levas, el cigüeñal o la bomba de inyección diesel
cuando la cadena ya ha sido extraída (a menos que no esté especicado)
• No utilice la cadena de distribución para bloquear el motor cuando se aojan o
ajustan los pernos de la polea del cigüeñal
• No gire el cigüeñal o el árbol de levas cuando la correa / cadena ya ha sido ex
traída
• Antes de retirar la cadena, marque su dirección
• Se aconseja siempre girar el motor lentamente manualmente y vericar nuevamen
te la posición del cigüeñal y del árbol de levas
• Los árboles de levas y motor pueden ser girados solamente cuando el mecanismo
de accionamiento de la cadena / correa se encuentra completamente instalado.
• No gire el motor accionando el árbol de levas u otros engranajes
• Verique la correcta posición de la bomba de inyección diesel luego de haber
sustituido la cadena
• Controle todos los pares de apriete
• Aténgase siempre al manual del fabricante o al manual de instrucciones suministra
do
• Una regulación del motor hecha de modo no preciso o equivocado ocasiona daño a
las válvulas

Precauções especiais - Ler com atenção
• Desprender o cabo da bateria do polo negativo de terra (vericar o código rádio
se disponível).
• Remover as velas de ignição ou as velas de incandescência para facilitar a rotação
do motor.
• N‹o utilizar detergentes líquidos nas correias, pinhões ou tensores.
• Marcar o sentido de rotação da correia auxiliar antes de removê-la.
• Virar o motor no sentido horário (contrário ao ponteiro do relógio somente se espe
cicado).
• Nunca virar a árvore de cames, o eixo do motor ou a bomba de injeção diesel
quando a corrente já foi removida (a não ser que seja especicado).
• Não utilizar a corrente de distribuição para bloquear o motor quando afrouxar ou
apertar os parafusos da polia do eixo do motor.
• Não rodar o eixo do motor ou a árvore de cames quando a correia / corrente já
foi removida.
• Antes de remover a corrente, marcar a sua direção.
• É sempre recomendado virar o motor devagar manualmente e vericar de novo o
posicionamento do eixo do motor e da árvore de cames.
• As árvores de cames e o motor podem ser virados somente quando o mecanismo
de acionamento da corrente / correia está totalmente instalado.
• Não virar o motor acionando a árvore de cames ou outras engrenagens.
• Vericar a posição correta da bomba de injeção diesel depois de ter trocado a
corrente.
• Efetuar todos os binários de aperto.
• Seguir sempre o manual do fabricante ou o manual de instruções fornecido.
• Uma anação do motor não exata ou errada implica na danicação das válvulas.

Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen - Aandachtig doorlezen
• Koppel de kabel van de accu van de negatieve pool van de aarding (controleer de
radiocode indien aanwezig).
• Verwijder de bougies of de gloeibougies om het draaien van de motor te vereen
voudigen.
• Gebruik geen vloeibare reinigingsmiddelen op riemen, rondsels of spanners.
• Geef de draairichting van de hulpaandrijfriem aan, voordat u hem verwijdert.
• Draai de motor met de klok mee (tegen de klok in, alleen als dit wordt aangegeven).
• Draai nooit de nokkenas, de krukas of de dieselinjectiepomp wanneer de ketting al
is verwijderd (tenzij anders aangegeven).
• Gebruik de distributieketting niet om de motor te blokkeren, wanneer u de bouten
van de krukasriemschijf los- of vastdraait.
• Draai de krukas of de nokkenas niet wanneer de riem / ketting al is verwijderd.
• Geef de richting van de ketting aan, voordat u hem verwijdert.
• Het wordt altijd aangeraden de motor langzaam met de hand te draaien en de afge
stelde positie van de krukas en de nokkenas nogmaals te controleren.
• De nokkenassen en de motor kunnen alleen worden gedraaid wanneer het aandrijf-
mechanisme van de ketting / riem volledig geïnstalleerd is.
• Draai de motor niet door de nokkenas of ander drijfwerk in werking te stellen
• Controleer de juiste positie van de dieselinjectiepomp, nadat u de ketting heeft
vervangen.
• Houd u aan alle aangegeven aanspanmomenten.
• Houd u altijd aan de handleiding van de fabrikant of aan de bijgeleverde gebruiksa
anwijzing.
• Door een niet precieze of verkeerde afstelling van de motor worden de kleppen
beschadigd.

Specjalne środki ostrożności - Przeczytać uważnie
• Odłączyć przewód akumulatora od bieguna ujemnego uziemienia (sprawdzić kod
radiowy, jeśli jest dostępny).
• Usunąć świece zapłonowe lub świece żarowe, aby ułatwić obroty silnika.
• Nie używać płynnych detergentów na pasach, kołach zębatych czy napinaczach.
• Oznaczyć kierunek obrotu paska pomocniczego przed jego wyjęciem.
• Obracać silnikiem w kierunku zgodnym z ruchem wskazówek zegara (w kierunku

• Sprawdzić prawidłowe położenie pompy wtryskowej diesel po dokonaniu wymiany
łańcucha.
• Przestrzegać wszystkich podanych momentów dokręcenia.
• Przestrzegać zawsze instrukcji producenta lub dostarczonej instrukcji obsługi.

Különleges elővigyázatosságok – Kérjük, olvassa el gyelmesen
• Csatlakoztassuk le az akkumulátor negatív földelési vezetékét (ha rendelkezésre áll
ellenőrizze a rádió kódot).
• Távolítsuk el a gyertyákat vagy a gyújtógyertyákat, így megkönnyítjük a motor
elforgatást.
• Ne használjon folyékony tisztítószert a szíjra, fogaskerékre vagy feszítő egységre.
• A segédszíj eltávolítása előtt, jelöljük be a forgási irányt.
• Fordítsuk el a motort órajárásával megegyező irányba (ezzel ellentétesen csak
akkor, ha kifejezetten előírt).
• A lánc eltávolítása után sose fordítsa el a bütykös tengelyt, teljesítménytengelyt
vagy a diesel befecskendező pumpát (ha az nem kifejezetten előírt).
• A bütykös tengely csavarjainak meglazítása vagy meghúzása alatt ne használja az
elosztóláncot a motor rögzítéséhez.
• Ha a szíj/lánc már eltávolításra került tilos elforgatni a bütykös tengelyt vagy a
teljesítménytengelyt.
• A lánc eltávolítása előtt jelöljük be annak forgásirányát.
• Mindig tanácsos elővigyázatosan, kézileg elforgatni a bütykös tengelyt és a teljesít
ménytengelyt ellenőrizve azok beállítását.
• A bütykös tengelyek és a motor csak akkor forgatható el, ha a lánc/szíj mozgató
mechanizmust már teljes mértékben felszerelésre került.
• Tilos elfogatni a motort a bütykös tengely vagy más géprész működtetésével.
• A lánc cseréje után ellenőrizzük le a diesel befecskendező pumpa helyes beille
sztését.
• Tartsunk tiszteletben minden meghúzási értéket.
• Tartsuk tiszteletben a gyártó, illetve a használati útmutató által előírtakat.
• A motor pontatlan vagy helytelen vezérlés beállítása a szelepek sérülését okozhatja.
