A - LA CENTRAL DGM1D Y EL PROGRAMADOR PCV123D
El DGM1D es un control de accesos autónomo de 1 puerta, de tags y tarjetas Mifare; sus
elementos principales son la central, el cabezal de lectura (TDG1D) y el programador portátil
PCV123D. La administración del DGM1D se hace a través del programador PCV123D, y para
acceder al menú de programación de la central, se requiere introducir un código de sitio y
una contraseña. Por defecto, el código de sitio es “123450”, y la contraseña es “0000”.
Se recomienda, por seguridad, cambiar la contraseña y el código de sitio que vienen por defecto.
El DGM1D se puede conectar de tres maneras distintas para su programación:
- Mediante conexión RS232 al programador PCV123D (coloque el jumper JP3 en la electrónica
de la central, y el cable RS232 en el bloque de conectores J1).
- Conexión inalámbrica del PCV123D a través del lector TDG1D (quite el jumper JP3 de la
electrónica de control del DGM1D).
- Conexión a una controladora en una red. El DGM1D pasa de ser un control de accesos
autónomo a un modo en red programable con el PCV123D (quite el jumper JP2). La salida
de relé del DGM1D se desactiva cuando funciona en este modo.

Puede utilizar el mismo código de sitio en varias instalaciones. Si desea modicar el código
de sitio, coloque el jumper JP1 en la electrónica del DGM1D. Del mismo modo, puede cambiar
el modo de funcionamiento del DGM1D, de “Lista blanca” a “Lista negra” utilizando el jumper
JP2. El modo “Lista negra” le permite denegar el acceso de manera individual a tags que
tienen grabados en su memoria el código de sitio del DGM1D.


B - FUNCIONALIDADES DEL PROGRAMADOR PCV123D

- Gestión de centrales DGM1D mediante conexión inalámbrica o por puerto serie.
- Lectura y programación de tags y tarjetas Mifare en cada instalación.
- Centralización de la gestión de usuarios a través de un PC (conexión RS232 o USB).

Para encender el terminal, presione el botón localizado en la parte superior derecha del
dispositivo. Si no se usa durante 5 minutos, el PCV123D se apagará automáticamente.
Las teclas numéricas se utilizan para introducir los valores, y los botones rojo y verde son
para validar o cancelar opciones y modicaciones. Por otro lado, las echas se utilizan para
navegar por los diferentes menús del programador.

Existen 2 maneras de alimentar el programador:
- Usando 2 pilas LR6 de 1,50 V.
- Conectándolo a la corriente con el transformador incluido: 9V / 300 mA.
Para encender el terminal, presione el botón localizado en la parte superior derecha del
dispositivo. Si no se usa durante 5 minutos, el PCV123D se apagará automáticamente.

La alimentación de la central DGM1D está protegida por fusible (polyswitch) y por diodo. La
central debe alimentarse a 12 V, bien en corriente alterna o continua, sin tener en cuenta la
polaridad. Para más información, acuda al manual de instalación del DGM1D.

El DGM1D cuenta con una serie de jumpers que se utilizan para congurar su modo de
funcionamiento, su código de sitio, o el modo de comunicarse con el PCV123D:
- JP1: Reprogramación del código de sitio del DGM1D.

- JP2: Modo “Lista blanca” o modo “Lista negra”.
- JP3: Conexión inalámbrica o mediante RS232 con el programador PCV123D.
Antes de poner o quitar alguno de los jumpers, corte la alimentación de la central DGM1D.

Al conectar la central DGM1D, se hace un diagnóstico de comunicación con el cabezal de
lectura. El LED del TDG1D debería iluminarse de color naranja durante 4 segundos y luego
apagarse.
En el caso de que haya un problema de comunicación entre el programador y la central,
aparecerá el mensaje “Default Connection” en la pantalla del programador.

- Coloque el programador sobre el lector TDG1D. En la parte posterior del programador hay
un hueco con las dimensiones del cabezal.
- Asegúrese de que el jumper JP3 NO está puesto.
- Consulte el apartado de “Menús del programador”.

Se pueden programar 3 tipos diferentes de tags con el PCV123D:
- Los tags “Residentes” se pueden programar desde el menú “Cardholders”. Para que un tag
sea admitido por un DGM1D “Residente”, su código de sitio debe guardarse en la memoria
del tag. El código de sitio se dene con una serie de 5 dígitos + una sexta cifra entre 0 y 9.
Estos tags sólo tendrán permiso para acceder a través de las centrales con ese mismo
código de sitio y de las centrales “Portón”.
- Los tags “Portones” sólo tendrán acceso a los DGM1D que se denan como “Portones”, pero
no a las centrales que sean designadas como “Residentes”. Una central “Portón” tiene un
código de sitio denido por una serie de 5 dígitos + una “E” como sexto caracter. Para poner
la letra “E” en el PCV123D, utilice las echas arriba o abajo cuando vaya a escribir la última
cifra a la hora de programar el código de sitio en el DGM1D que será el “Portón”.
- Los tags “Maestros” tendrán acceso a todos los DGM1D “Residentes” que tengan las mismas
5 primeras cifras de su código de sitio iguales, y la sexta y última con un valor entre “0” y
“9”; también tendrán acceso a través de los DGM1D “Portones” con el mismo código de
sitio. Un tag “Maestro” tendrá un código de sitio con 5 cifras, y la letra “F” como sexto
caracter.

Si al intentar conectarse a un DGM1D con su programador, introduce un código de sitio
o contraseña incorrectas, el PCV123D mostrará el mensaje: «WRONG SITE CODE OR
PASSWORD» seguido de un código de error (SÓLO aparecerá si tiene conectado el jumper
JP1 y está utilizando una conexión por cable RS232).
Acuda a su distribuidor con este código de error y la fecha en la que se generó; él contactará
con el servicio técnico de CDVI para recuperar su información de acceso a la central DGM1D.
Mediante el PCV123D, podrá programar todos los parámetros de su central DGM1D. Presione
el botón ON para activar la unidad, y en la pantalla verá el mensaje: «Terminal Version x.x».
Para acceder al DGM1D, presiones las teclas o . Asegúrese de que el PCV123D está
debidamente conectado al DGM1D (mediante puerto serie o inalámbricamente) o a su PC (a
través del puerto serie o USB).
Una vez haya introducido el código de sitio y la contraseña, podrá acceder a dos menús
principales del DGM1D:
- Conguration.
- Cardholders.
El programador se apaga tras 5 minutos de inactividad.

Todo usuario necesita de un tag o tarjeta para validar su acceso en el controlador DGM1D.
Esta tarjeta o tag se programa a través de la unidad PCV123D.
La central DGM1D debe tener programado un código de sitio que la identicará (por defecto,
es el “123450”). Para que el DGM1D conceda acceso a un tag, éste debe tener programado
en su memoria el mismo código de sitio.
En caso de pérdida o robo del tag de un usuario, el DGM1D cuenta con una memoria (con
una capacidad máxima de 200 números de tags) para guardar los números de serie de
aquellas tarjetas a las que debe denegar el acceso. De esta manera, un tag incluido en la lista
negra nunca podrá cruzar la puerta, aún cuando el código de sitio de la tarjeta o tag coincida
con el que tiene programado el DGM1D.

Se debe tener un registro escrito de todos los códigos de los tags de una instalación, de tal
manera que se pueda introducir manualmente dichos códigos en la lista negra del DGM1D.
Para ello, hay que utilizar el teclado numérico y las echas del programador PCV123D.

La lista negra puede gestionarse a través del software para PC. Mediante esta aplicación, y
con el programador PCV123D conectado a su ordenador, podrá programar el código de sitio
en los tags de usuarios de una manera rápida y sencilla.
Del mismo modo, se puede indicar de manera individual cuáles de esos tags entrarán en la
lista negra. Esta información se vuelva al programador PCV123D, para acudir más tarde a la
instalación y descargarlo todo en la memoria del DGM1D. También se puede hacer el proceso
inverso, es decir, descargar la lista negra memorizada en el PCV123D y volcar la información
al PC.

A - DGM1D CONTROLLER
The DGM1D is a 1-door controller and contactless smartcard reader that manages
up to 30 Trade & Service and unlimited cardholders.
Each Trade & service account has a unique code which is loaded on the controller with the
PCV123D terminal built-in smartcard reader. The date, hour validity is programmed on the
Trade & Service badges and/or on the software.
The DGM1D controller manages cardholders and master badges.
The DGM1D controller is programmed with a PCV123D terminal unit:
- The default site code is: 123450
- Password is: 0000.
It is recommended to change the default site code for security reason and to enter a 6-digit site code
The controller can be connected three different modes:
- 1 RS232 comm. port to connect a PCV123D terminal unit (JP3 jumper on and RS232 cable
to connect on J1)

- A wireless connection with the reader (remove JP3 jumper). The wireless communication is
established between the reader and the terminal unit.
- Connection to a reader controller from the network system: The DGM1D is then switched
from a stand alone mode to a network mode programmable with a PCV123D (remove JP2
jumper). The relay output is disabled for the cardholders.
The same site code can be programmed on many controllers.
The site code can be changed with the PCV123D terminal unit via the RS232 or wireless
connection (JP1 jumper on).
The cardholder’s badges can be enabled or disabled with the JP2 jumper.


B - PCV123D TERMINAL UNIT FUNCTIONNALITIES

- Reads smartcard
- Manages the controllers via RS232 connection or wireless communication with reader
- Enrollment and identication of the cardholders badges and master keys
- Capability to manage the site from a PC

To switch ON the Terminal unit press on the power button located at the top right side. It
powers off automatically after 5 minutes if not being used.The numerical keys are used for
entering the values; and the « A » and « B » keys to enter hexadecimals values (A to F).
A, B, * and # keys can be used to scroll in the same sub-menu or on the display.
The C is the ENTER key and D is the ESCAPE/DELETE key. It is also possible to select the next
or previous menu with these keys.

The Terminal unit is powered with:
- 2 x AA batteries 1.5 V
- plug-in power supply: 9V @ 300 mA
To switch ON the Terminal unit press on the power button located at the top right side.
It powers off automatically after 5 minutes if not used.

The voltage on the controller is protected by a polyswitch fuse and a transil diode.
The input voltage can be done in AC or DC and polarity free.


There are 4 jumpers on the controller which need to be set prior to power the reader. Jumper
must be set according to your conguration:
- JP1 : The site code setting is enabled
- JP2 : Cardholders programming is enabled
- JP3 : RS232 connection between the DGM1D controller and the PCV123D Terminal unit
Switch off the power on the controller, put the jumpers on and then put the power on.
The new jumper conguration is set on the controller.

Reader Test: When the controller is powered the LED on the reader lights on amber during 4
seconds and then lights off.

- In case of a communication problem between the Terminal unit and the reader a message
is displayed on the Terminal unit « default connection ».
- Place the back of the Terminal unit against the reader
- The reading area of the Terminal unit should t on the reader.
- Remove JP3 jumper

3 access level badge types can be programmed on the PCV123D:
- Cardholder badges are programmed with the PCV123D Terminal Unit from the Enrollment
badge menu. To activate a badge, the site code of the controller must be programmed
on the badge. The site code is dened with a 5-digit + a 6th digit from 0 to 9.
- Cardholder badges can be programmed to grant access to a gate. To program the
cardholder badges for the second reader only, the site code of this reader should be entered
as follow: 5-digit + 6th digit E.
- Master keys are programmed with the PCV123D Terminal Unit from the Enrollment badge
menu. The master keys have access to all sites (reader/door) which have the same 5 rst
digit and the 6th digit from 0 to 9. The site code for the master key should be programmed
5-digit + 6th digit F.

If during a connection with a PCV123D terminal unit, you type a wrong code site and/or
password, the display PCV123D: «CODE SITE PASSWORD or wrong» followed by a decryption
chain (decryption chain appears only if you communicate with the RS232). This decryption
chain contains the site code number and password of your central DGM1D. Contact this
decryption chain of your controller to the dealer. Then he will provide you the site code and
password of your plant.
Once in possession of the site code and password, enter the site code, then enter the
password, then you have access to your DGM1D controller.
For more information, please contact your dealer.
The PCV123D terminal unit manages and programs DGM1D controller + reader
Press ON, the terminal unit displays: «Terminal Version x.x ».
To enter in the menu press on the key or
key of the keypad. Make sure that the
PCV123D terminal unit is connected to the DGM1D controller (RS232 or RF), or to the PC
software via the RS232 on the PC. Enter the site code of the controller and then the password:
- Conguration,
- Cardholders.
The terminal unit switchs off after 5 minutes of inactivity.


The cardholders need to use a contactless smart card on the DGM1D. The cardholder badge is
programmed with a PCV123D Terminal unit which is also a Badge Enrollment unit.
The DGM1D controller has a site code which should be programmed before tting the system
on a door (default site code: 000000). To give access to cardholder on a DGM1D reader,
the site code of the controller must be programmed on the Cardholder badge.
The controller has a memory storage of invalid badges called « Blacklist » maximum
200 cardholder badges.
A lost badge must program in the « Blacklist » to invalidate the badge on the DGM1D reader.
Without the PC software:
All the code of the badges which have been programmed on the DGM1D reader must be
written on list so it would be possible to enter them in the « Blacklist » to refuse the access
on the reader.
With the PC software:
- The « Blacklist » can be stored in the Terminal unit and then downloaded on the PC.
