Thankyou for your confidence in choosing a CHAUVIN ARNOUX instrument.
Before using your F21 Clamp on Harmonic Meter and in order to get the best service :
■READ carefully the advice and recommendations contained in this instruction booklet.
■FOLLOW the usual safety precautions.
■International electric symbol :
Warning ! Consult the User’s manual before using your instrument.
■Check that the conductor is correctly aligned with the markings and that the clamp closes
correctly.
■Do not use the clamp on cables in which the conductors are at a voltage greater than
600 V.
■Do not use the clamp for currents greater than 1000 A and limit the duration of use for
currents between 700A and 1000A (see page 40).
■Check the correct position of the switch and if necessary the leads before each mea-
surement.
■Always disconnect the clamp from any electrical source before changing the battery.
■Set the switch to OFF when you are not using the clamp.
