Safety
General Power Tool Safety Warnings – Personal Safety
Warning: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow
thewarnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Theterm “power tool” in thewarnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power
tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in
thepresence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks
which may ignite thedust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating apower tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match theoutlet. Never modify theplug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is anincreased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering apower
tool will increase therisk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse thecord. Never use thecord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
thepower tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase therisk of electric shock.
e) When operating apower tool outdoors, use anextension cord suitable for
outdoor use. Use of acord suitable for outdoor use reduces therisk of electric shock.
f) If operating apower tool in adamp location is unavoidable, use aresidual
current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of anRCD reduces therisk of
electric shock.

3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating
apower tool. Do not use apower tool while you are tired or under theinfluence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. Amoment of inattention while operating power
tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure theswitch is in theoff-position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying
thetool. Carrying power tools with your finger on theswitch or energising power
tools that have theswitch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning thepower tool on. Awrench
or akey left attached to arotating part of thepower tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of thepower tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for theconnection of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust
collection can reduce dust related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force thepower tool. Use thecorrect power tool for your application.
Thecorrect power tool will do thejob better and safer at therate for which it was
designed.
b) Do not use thepower tool if theswitch does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with theswitch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect theplug from thepower source and/or thebattery pack from
thepower tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce therisk of
starting thepower tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of thereach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with thepower tool or these instructions to operate thepower
tool. Power tools are dangerous in thehands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect thepower tool’s
operation. If damaged, have thepower tool repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use thepower tool, accessories and tool bits, etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account theworking conditions and thework to be
performed. Use of thepower tool for operations different from those intended
could result in ahazardous situation.

5) Battery tool use and care
a) Make sure that the power switch is set to OFF before the battery is inserted.
Attaching a battery to a power tool when the power switch set to ON increases
the risk of an accident occurring.
b) Recharge only with thecharger specified by themanufacturer. Acharger that
is suitable for one type of battery pack may create arisk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
c) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any
other battery packs may create arisk of injury and fire.
d) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can
make aconnection from one terminal to another. Shorting thebattery terminals
together may cause burns or afire.
e) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from thebattery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts
eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from thebattery may cause
irritation or burns.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by aqualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that thesafety of thepower tool is maintained.
Specic safety warnings for multi-tools
• This power tool is intended for sawing, sanding, polishing and cutting.
Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications
provided with thistool. Neglecting to follow all of theinstructions listed below can
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Do not use accessories which are not intended to be used with this tool and
which are not recommended by themanufacturer. Evenif theaccessory can be
attached to your power tool, there is no guarantee that it can be used safely.
• Wear personal protective equipment. Depending on how you use themachine;
use avisor/face protection or safety glasses. Ifnecessary use amask,
ear protection, gloves, and apron/work clothing to protect you from small
shards of metal or splinters from thework object. Theeye protection you use
must be able to protect against flying debris produced in different working
positions. Thebreathing protection should be able to filter any particles
produced by thework. Prolonged exposure to high levels of noise can result in
hearing damage.
• Keep children at asafe distance from theworkarea. Everyone who visits
theplace of work must wear personal protective equipment. Debris from
theworkpiece or from adamaged accessory can fly off and injure people outside
of theimmediate workarea.
• Clean the motor ventilation slits regularly. Themotor’s fan pulls in dust, which
gets inside theouter casing and abuild up of this collected metal dust can lead to
electrical dangers.

• Do not use thepower tool near flammable material. Sparks can easily ignite
flammable material.
• Do not use accessories, which require liquid coolants. Theuse of water or
other liquid coolants can result in electric shock or electrocution.
Specic safety instructions for sanding
• Extra caution should be taken when sanding lead paint, wood, metal or other
materials which produce toxicdust. Makesure any bystanders in thework area
are well protected.
• Remember that dust caused by sanding can be very flammable when mixed
withair.
Safety instructions specic for cutting
• Hold power tool by its insulated gripping surfaces when performing
anoperation in where thecutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its
own cord could cut through hidden cables or its owncord. Cutting accessory
contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of thepower tool “live” and
could give theoperator anelectricshock.
• Always wear adustmask.

Used for theremoval of paint, glue, etc.
Delta sanding plate
Perfect for sanding those hard-to-reach places, such as
corners. Changing thegrade of sandpaper used allows
you to sand wood, stone, paint and soforth.
Plunge-cutter saw blade
Ideal for deep incisions in wood,e.g. cutting holes for
fitting airvents. Canalso be used for sawing in confined
spaces. Thissaw blade can even saw throughnails.

TheCocraft range includes several other accessories compatible with this multi-tool,
amongst others:

Attaching accessories
Warning. Always remove thebattery from themulti-tool before replacing
accessories or performing any adjustment, service or maintenance.
Themulti-tool’s accessory mount (1) is adapted for accessories from Cocraft or Bosch
Starlock (not Starlock PLUS or Starlock MAX)
Accessories from Cocraft
1. Fold out thecatch for theaccessory mount (3) fully, slide in theaccessory (9, 10
and 11) and position it at thedesired angle so that thepins on themount are
aligned with theholes in theaccessory.

2. Close thecatch fully.
Accessories from Bosch Starlock
1. Fold out thecatch fully.
2. Unscrew thelock nut (1).
3. Place theaccessory on themount.
TheStarlock accessory will sit
loosely on themount, as thecentre hole
is slightly too small for themount.
4. Align thesmall holes in theaccessory
with thepins on themount and screw
thelock nut back on. Tighten by hand
(tools are not required).

5. Close thecatch fully.
Information
If theaccessory ends up at aslight angle and
does not slide down onto thepins, simply press
it to one side and it will snap into place.
Instructions for use
On/off
1. Slide thebattery into thebattery
connection (8) making sure that it clicks
securely into place.
2. Turn on/off using thepower switch (4).
3. Set thespeed using theselector (6).
Thechoice of speed depends on
thetype of work being carried out and
thetype of material being worked on.
Experiment until you find thebest speed
setting.

Cutting and sawing
Caution should be observed when using thesaw blades. Checktheworking area so
that you are prepared for any nails, screws or anything else which could cause you to
lose control over themulti-tool. Ifyou are cutting wall tiles, bear in mind that thesaw
blade will be subjected to hard wear during prolongeduse.
Sanding
• Thesanding sheets are attached with hook and loop fasteners. Remove theold
sanding sheet, brush off thehook and loop fabric on theaccessory if necessary
and then attach anew sanding sheet.
• Always use undamaged sandpaper and change it often. This will not only give you
better results but also prolong thelife of your multi-tool.
• Do not use excessive force when sanding, rather apply aconstant, light pressure.
Applying too much pressure will not speed up thesanding process; it will merely
wear out thesandpaper and themulti-tool more quickly.
• When sanding wood, do not use sanding sheets that have previously been used
for metal.
Overload protection and other safety features
Themulti-tool/battery has anumber of safety features that prevent damage during use.
• During short, high-load situations, theoverload protection may switch themulti-
tool/battery off. This protection resets automatically. Set theswitch in position “0”
and wait afew seconds, ensure that themulti-tool is not under load and then
restart it. Theappliance should now function normally again.
• In theevent of high load for extended periods, theoverheating protection may
switch themulti-tool/battery off. This feature is self-resetting, but themulti-tool
cannot be restarted until thetemperature has returned to asafe level. Set theswitch
to position “0” and allow themulti-tool to cool before resuming work. Do not
expose themulti-tool to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Doing so could
cause theoverheating protection to trigger.
• Thebattery has adeep discharge undervoltage protection, which operates when
thebattery becomes discharged. Thedeep discharge protection turns themulti-
tool off automatically. Thebattery then needs to be recharged.
Care, maintenance and storage
Always remove thebattery from themulti-tool before performing any adjustment,
service or maintenance.
• Clean theexterior of themulti-tool with asoft brush or cloth. Never use water,
solvents or corrosive chemicals for cleaning.
• Regularly remove all dirt, especially from around themotor ventilation slits (5 and 7).
• Store themulti-tool in adry location out of thereach of children if it is not going to
be used for along time.

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with
general household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling
so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner. When
recycling theproduct, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is disposed of in
anenvironmentally sound manner.

level values declared in this instruction manual have been carried out in accordance
with astandardised test method described in EN60745 and can be used for
comparing one power tool with another.
• Themeasurement method may also be used for apreliminary assessment of
vibration exposure.
• Thedeclared vibration emission level applies when thepower tool is used in
accordance with this instruction manual. If however, thepower tool is used for
other purposes and with other accessories or has not been properly maintained,
thevibration emission level could increase significantly over thetotal working period.
• For anexact assessment of thevibration exposure, thetimes when thetool is
switched off or running idle should also be taken into account. This significantly
reduces thevibration exposure over thetotal working period. Decide upon safety
measures to protect theoperator from theeffects of vibration during all types of use.

1) Arbetsutrymmet
a) Håll arbetsutrymmet rent och väl upplyst. Belamrade och mörka utrymmen
inbjuder till olyckor.
b) Använd inte elektriska handverktyg iexplosiva miljöer, som inärheten av
lättantändliga vätskor, gaser eller damm. Elektriska handverktyg genererar

2) Elektrisk säkerhet

c) Utsätt inte det elektriska handverktyget för regn eller våta förhållanden.

d) Misshandla inte nätsladden. Användaldrig nätsladden för att bära eller dra
handverktyget eller för att rycka stickproppen ur vägguttaget. Hållundan

e) När du använder ettelektriskt handverktyg utomhus, använd enskarvsladd

3) Personlig säkerhet
a) Var uppmärksam på vad du gör och använd sunt förnuft när du använder
ettelektriskt handverktyg. Användinte ettelektriskt handverktyg om du
är trött eller påverkad av droger, alkohol eller medicinering. Ettögonblicks
ouppmärksamhet när du använder ettelektriskt handverktyg kan resultera iallvarlig
personskada.
b) Använd skyddsutrustning. Bäralltid skyddsglasögon. Användning av skydds-
utrustning som andningsskydd, halksäkra skyddsskor, hjälm och hörselskydd vid
behov minskar risken för personskada.
c) Undvik oavsiktlig start. Setill att strömbrytaren är iläge OFF innan du
ansluter stickproppen till vägguttaget. Attbära ettelektriskt handverktyg med
ettfinger på strömbrytaren/avtryckaren eller att ansluta ettelektriskt handverktyg till
elnätet när strömbrytaren är iläge ON inbjuder till olyckor.
d) Ta bort alla serviceverktyg/nycklar innan du slår på det elektriska
handverktyget. Ettkvarglömt serviceverktyg på enroterande del av det elektriska
handverktyget kan resultera ipersonskada.
e) Sträck dig inte för långt. Setill att du står stadigt med god balans hela tiden.
Dettamöjliggör bättre kontroll ioväntade situationer.
f) Bär lämplig klädsel. Bärinte löst sittande kläder eller smycken. Hållundan
hår, kläder och handskar undan från rörliga delar. Lösakläder, smycken eller
långt hår kan fastna irörliga delar.
g) Om utrustning för utsugning och uppsamling av damm finns tillgänglig,
se till att denna är ansluten och används. Användning av dessa hjälpmedel
kan minska dammrelaterade faror.
4) Användning och underhåll av det elektriska handverktyget
a) Pressa inte det elektriska handverktyget. Användettelektriskt handverktyg
som är avsett för det arbetsmoment du utför. Korrekt elektriskt handverktyg gör
jobbet bättre och säkrare med avsedd matningshastighet.
b) Använd inte det elektriska handverktyget om strömbrytaren inte slår på och
stänger av verktyget. Allaelektriska handverktyg som inte kan kontrolleras med
strömbrytaren är farliga och måste repareras.
c) Ta stickproppen ur vägguttaget innan du utför några justeringar, byter
tillbehör eller lägger undan det elektriska handverktyget för förvaring.
Dessaåtgärder iförebyggande syfte minskar risken för att starta det elektriska
handverktyget oavsiktligt.
d) Förvara elektriska handverktyg som inte används utom räckhåll för barn och
låt inte personer som inte är förtrogna med det elektriska handverktyget
eller dessa instruktioner använda det. Elektriska handverktyg är farliga om de
kommer ihänderna på ovana användare.
e) Underhåll elektriska handverktyg. Kontrollera om något är felinställt, om
rörliga delar kärvar, om delar har gått sönder eller om något annat inträffat

arbete som ska utföras. Användning av det elektriska handverktyget för andra
arbeten än vad det är ämnat för kan resultera ienfarlig situation.
5) Användning och service av det laddbara handverktyget
a) Se till att strömbrytaren är iavstängt läge innan du monterar batteriet.
Attmontera batteriet på ettelektriskt handverktyg som har strömbrytaren
ipåslaget läge inbjuder till olyckor.
b) Ladda batteriet endast med enladdare som är utvald av tillverkaren.
Enladdare som passar till entyp av batteri kan orsaka brandrisk om den används
till enannan typ av batteri.
c) Använd laddbara handverktyg endast tillsammans med därför ämnade
batterier. Användning av andra batterier kan orsaka skade- och brandrisk.
d) När batteriet inte används, förvara det på avstånd från andra metallföremål
som gem, mynt, nycklar, spikar, skruvar eller andra små metallföremål som
kan skapa kontakt från den ena batteripolen till den andra. Kortslutning av
batteripolerna kan orsaka brännskador ellerbrand.
e) Om batteriet misshandlas kan syra läcka ut. Undvikkontakt med syran.
Omdu av misstag kommer ikontakt med syran, spola med vatten. Omsyran
kommer ikontakt med ögonen, uppsök läkare. Syrasom kommer från batteriet
kan orsaka irritation och brännskador.
6) Service
a) Låt behörig personal utföra service och reparationer, och endast med

Särskilda säkerhetsvarningar för multiverktyg
• Detta elektriska handverktyg är avsett för sågning, slipning, putsning
och kapning. Läsalla säkerhetsvarningar, instruktioner, illustrationer
och specifikationer som medföljer detta verktyg. Underlåtelse att följa alla
instruktioner nedan kan resultera ielektrisk chock, brand och/eller allvarligskada.
• Använd inte tillbehör som inte är speciellt avsedda och rekommenderade
av verktygstillverkaren. Ävenom tillbehöret kan monteras på ditt elektriska
handverktyg är det ingen försäkran om säker användning.
• Bär personlig skyddsutrustning. Beroende på hur du använder ditt elektiska
handverktyg, använd ansiktsskydd eller skyddsglasögon. Vidbehov, använd
ansiktsmask, hörselskydd, handskar och arbetsförkläde som skyddar mot
små slippartiklar eller flisor från arbetsstycket. Ögonskyddet ska kunna
skydda mot kringflygande skräp som bildas vid olika arbetsmoment.

• Håll åskådare på behörigt avstånd från arbetsplatsen. Allasom besöker
arbetsplatsen måste bära personlig skyddsutrustning. Flisor från arbetsstycket
eller från etttrasigt tillbehör kan flyga iväg och orsaka skada utanför arbetets
omedelbara närområde.
• Rengör regelbundet motorns ventilationsöppningar. Motorns fläkt drar åt sig
damm som kommer in under höljet, och överflödigt metallspån som ansamlats kan
orsaka elektriskafaror.
• Använd inte det elektriska handverktyget inärheten av lättantändliga material.
Gnistor kan antända dessa material.
• Använd inte tillbehör som kräver kylvätskor. Användning av vatten eller andra
kylvätskor kan resultera ielektrisk chock eller dödande elektriskstöt.
Särskilda säkerhetsinstruktioner vid slipning
• Var extra noggrann vid slipning av färg som kan innehålla bly eller vid slipning
av trä, metall eller andra material som kan avge giftigt slipdamm. Sedå också
till att personer som vistas på eller inärheten av arbetsplatsen är skyddade.
• Tänk på att slipdamm kan vara mycket brandfarligt iblandning medluft.
Särskilda säkerhetsinstruktioner för kapning
• Håll endast idet elektriska handverktygets isolerade greppytor när du utför
arbetsmoment där skärverktyget kan komma ikontakt med gömda kablar
eller den egna sladden. Skärverktyg som kommer ikontakt med enströmförande
kabel kan göra utsatta metalldelar av verktyget strömförande och utsätta användaren
för elektriska stötar.

Används för borttagning av färg, lim etc.
Slipsula
Passar mycket bra vid slipning där det är svårt att komma
åt, t.ex. ihörn. Beroende på slippapper kan du slipa trä,
sten, färgm.m.
Instickssågblad
Idealiskt för djupa instickssnitt iträ, t.ex. om du ska
montera ettventilationsgaller eller liknande. Passar även
bra för sågning där det är svårt att kommaåt. Detta
sågblad klarar även att såga genom spikar.

1. Vik ut spärren för tillbehörsfästet (3) helt, skjut in tillbehöret (9, 10 och 11) och lägg
det iönskad vinkel så att piggarna på fästet ligger ihålen på tillbehöret.

2. Skruva bort låsmuttern (1).
3. Lägg tillbehöret på fästet.
Starlock-tillbehöret kommer att
ligga löst på fästet, centrumhålet är
något för litet för fästet.
4. Rikta in de små hålen itillbehöret mot
piggarna på fästet och skruva tillbaka
låsmuttern. Dra åt för hand, verktyg
behövs inte.
