SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Please read through the entire instruction manual before starting any of the installation procedures.
2. We recommend disconnecting the negative side of the battery until ready to code the vehicle.
3. Do not install any of the main modulesnear any major components or near the HVAC system,
as placing items near the HVAC maycause damage oroverheating to the interface.
4. We recommend not disconnecting any of the air bag connections behind the dash panels.
5. Thisproduct is under Crux’s 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty may be voided in the case where
the device shows proof of being opened or improper extreme force.

CONNECTING THE INTERFACE
Follow these steps to properly install the CAN module
Step 1 - Remove the factory display to gain accessto the factory 52-Pin (RED) connector.
Located behind the display, not the radio. Remove the factory 52-Pin connector.
Step 2 - Using the provided 52-Pin T-Harness, mate both sidesof the harness, to the factory harness and the factory display.

CONNECTING THE INTERFACE
Follow these steps to properly install the CAN module
Step 3 - Connect both the 8-Pin and 12-Pin connectors to theircorresponding interface.
The 8-PIn is the only one withdip switches.Make sure all your connections are rmly inserted.
Step 4 - After connecting the module, set dip switches number “2”, “4”, and “6” to the “ON” position.
Make sure to test Front and Rear inputs.
All other dip switches are not to be used.
DIP SWITCH DESCRIPTION
IF NOT USING THE INPUT, PLACE TO OFF
DIP1 = ON = Video In-Motion Enable
DIP2 = ON = Rear-View Camera Enable
DIP3 = Not Used
DIP4 = ON = Front-View Button Activation
DIP5 = Not Used
DIP6 = CAN Termination
After each change of the DIP switch settings,
we recommend powering down the module,
then restarting thevehicle.
LED INDICATORS
BLUE LED:
SOLID = BUS RECOGNIZED
BLINKING = NO BUS DETECT
The Blue LED will shut o when
car enters sleep mode.

RED LED:
ON = Power On
OFF = Power OFF

CONNECTING THE REAR-VIEW CAMERA
In order to activate the Rear-View Camera feature, make sure Dip switch number 2 is set to “ON”.
Step 5 - Make note that the Rear-View Camera is not included and canbe purchased separately.
Connect the RED power 12V cable from the camera to the GRAY Reverse (12V) trigger on the T-Harness.
Tap the BLACK wire onthe T-Harness 8-Pin connector for the GROUND to the camera.
Be sure to test the camera by placing the vehicle in REVERSE and conrming the camera display.

CONNECTING FRONT-VIEW CAMERA
In order to activate the FVC INPUT feature, make sure Dip switch number 4 is set to “ON” on the 8-Pin Module.
Step 6 - Using the provided RCA input, connect your FRONT camera to the input.
Use the WHITE wire to POWER the FVC. (See below)
SWITCHING TO THE FRONT-VIEW CAMERA
To switchto the new Front-View camera, simply press the “BACK ”once. Make sure Dip Switch number “4” is set to ON forthis to work.
To Exit the FVC press BACK once again.
