We recommend reading this installation guide rst before starting any
work. Following these instructions from “Start” to” Finish” will ensure
a smooth and hassle free installation. We oer telephone support M-F

PRECAUTIONS:
- Remove the negative side of the battery to avoid any short circuits
during the installation.
- Do not install the interface near any major components or near the
HVAC system. This may cause damage or overheating to the vehicle.
- Do not disconnect the airbag connection behind the radio panel.
PRELIMINARY:
Please read the entire manual before installing this interface.
Vehicle must be equipped with factory DVD changer.
This interface does not activate DVD reader.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. No video display while driving.
- Make sure the dip switches are in the proper location.

INSTALLING THE INTERFACE:
1. Remove the factory radio to gain access to the factory connectors.
2. Remove the 40-Pin connector from behind the radio.
2. Make the T-Harness connections behind the factory radio.
(if the connectors do not match please contact tech support)
4. Set the dip switch to permanently activate the VIM feature.
5. Test the display while the car is in-motion to verify the VIM is active.
Dip 1: This dip switch is the permanent solution for keeping the VIM
unlocked.
ALL OTHER DIP SWITCHES

From the factory radio, once you plug in the A/V Input Adaptor,
You will notice the radio activate the AUX (Movie) source.
With your composite device connected, begin watching your
media to the factory display. The included VCIP5 allows you to
mirror your image form your iPhone 5 to your factory screen.

Using our 3.5mm A/V adaptor you are able to connect any composite output device to your
factory screen.
Our new VCIP5 cable allows you to connect your iPhone 5 to the composite input, when
using the Apple Lightning to HDMI adaptor (Sold separately)
When using our VCIP5 you will be able to mirror (one way) the display of your iPhone to your
video screen. And all applications that allow you to rotate will ll the screen on the radio
display.
