The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated
dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure that may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference

■ 1/3" 2MEGA SONY CMOS
High definition 12-bit digital image signals offering 2 mega pixels
are obtained with high speed of 30 fps and with low power consumption.
■ High Resolution 1100(Color)/(BW) TV Lines
This camera has realized high resolution of 1100(Color)/(BW) TV lines using the top-notch
full digital image processing, 12 Bit A/D serial signal processing and special algorithm
technologies.
■ DNR (Digital Noise Reduction, 2D+3D)
The DNR technology eliminates noise thus generating a distinct and clear image.
This camera DNR function utilizes both an adaptive 2D filter reducing noise in the
brightness of the image and an adaptive 3D filter reducing caused by movement.
■ DAY&NIGHT (Output the Filter changing signal)
This camera has the Day&Night function which outputs the filter changing signal with
detecting the illumination condition.
■ SMART IR
Brightness of IR and saturation phenomenon are automatically adjusted.
■ OSD (On Screen Display)
This camera supports the OSD function which is used with multi language. And so, the
camera can be controlled bye selecting text displayed on the monitor screen.
■ Privacy Mask Function (16 points)
Privacy masking allows for the 'blanking' of specific areas of a scene, where the
viewing or recording of images is prohibited or undesired.
The technology of this camera allows for the user defined setting of a four point
polygonal mask, which is overlaid onto the video signal output.
■ Support both HD-SDI and EX-SDI
This camera can be used HD-SDI mode or EX-SDI mode. The default is HD-SDI mode.
And you can change mode to EX-SDI mode by using OSD button.
■ POC (Power of Coaxial)
This camera support POC function which enables to transfer power of the camera through
coaxial cable.
Features
☞How to change mode from HD-SDI to EX-SDI.
Press “Up”button for 3 seconds and then press “Set”button.
If you want to change HD-SDI mode again, press “Down”button for 3seconds and
then press “Set”button.

All functions would be set by OSD menu.
The menu consists of the main menu and sub menu.
Sub menu is displayed when user press set key on
each menu, at which you see arrow.
Please hold the “SET”key for a while to enter OSD
menu.
1. LENS
Select lens type.
▶DC/MANUAL
2. FOCUS ADJ
Adjust focus status through this menu.
If this menu is on, bars will be displayed on the monitor and adjust bar height as higher.
3. EXPOSURE
This function can adjust the intensity of radiation
incoming to the camera.
Use the "▲" "▼""◀" "▶" "ⓔ" switch or Joystick to
select a menu item.
1) BRIGHTNESS (0~20)
Sets the screen brightness
2) SHUTTER
Select shutter mode.
▶AUTO/INDOOR/FLICKER
- AUTO
The shutter speed will be operated automatically.
▶INDOOR/OUTDOOR/DEBLUR
INDOOR: Iris
OUTDOOR: Iris + Shutter
DEBLUR: SHUTTER: 1/240+AGC
- MANUAL
Select shutter speed from 1/30 to 1/30K

This will prevent possible screen distortion to a mismatch between the vertical sync

frequency and the blinking frequency of the lighting.
3) TCS INFO
This function can capture clear image when the object move
fast.
- TCS MODE
Select TCS level
- SPEED: Show the Shutter speed value (1/120 ~ 1/1600)
- DAY/NIGHT: Show the DAY/NIGHT mode (AUTO~EXTERN)
- SMART IR: Show the SMART IR level value
- HLC: Show the HLC on,or off state
4)SENS--UP
Select “Digital Slow Shutter”level (OFF/ 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x)
5) AGC
Set “Auto gain control”value (1~10)
4. BACKLIGHT
The function is used to set the Back Light Compensation (BLC), High Light Compensation
(HLC) and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).
▶OFF, WDR, HLC, BLC
1) BLC
BLC Area shows up on the screen
H- POS(0~20):Set the position of BLC area.
V- POS(0~20):Set the position of BLC area.
H- SIZE(0~20):Set the size of BLC area.
V- SIZE0~20): Set the size of BLC area.

5. DAY/NIGHT
The function is used to set the Day/Night function which switches day/Night mode
automatically based on the level of illumination.
1) AUTO
THRESHOLD(0~20): Sets the threshold for identifying
the Night status from the Day status.
MARGIN(0~20): Sets the margin for identifying the Night
status from the Day status.
DELAY: Sets the Night/Day identification transfer time.
SMART IR (OFF/LOW/MIDDLE/HIGH)
Brightness of IR and saturation phenomenon are automatically adjusted.
2) EXTERN
- EXTERN SW
Select the active level.
- DELAY (1~20)
Set the Night/Day identification transfer time
- SMART IR (1~20)
Brightness of IR and saturation phenomenon are
automatically adjusted.
3) COLOR: Only Color
4) B&W: Only B/W
6. WHITE BAL
This function is used to set the White Balance operation which adjusts the color scheme.
1) AUTO: Auto tracking white balance.
2) MANUAL
White balance value can be changed by “R-GAIN”and “B-GAIN”value in manual mode

3) AUTO ext: TDN lens Auto trace white balance.
It can be changed in AWC mode only.
4) Preset: when the set color temperature doesn’t meet with user’s environment.
7. DNR
Set up 3D-DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) level.
▶OFF, LOW, MIDDLE, HIGH
8. IMAGE
1) SHARPNESS (1~10)
Select the resolution of the camera.
2) GAMMA (0.45,0.55,0.65,0.75)
Select the GAMMA
3) COLOR GAIN (1~20)
Adjusts COLOR GAIN
4) MIRROR (ON/OFF)
Set up the screen mirror
5) FLIP (ON/OFF)
Set up the screen flip
6) D-ZOOM (1X~16X)
Enlarge the screen with DIGITAL ZOOM.
7) ACE (OFF/LOW/MIDDLE/HIGH)
Select Digital ACE(Advanced Enhance) level
8) DEFOG (OFF/MANUAL/AUTO)
This function does a process of clearing blurred image
caused by fog and snow by analyzing the brightness of
input image and compensating the color of the image.
Select defog level.
9) SHARDING
Set the lens shading.
When you maximize zoom ratio and lens angle of view
is saturated on screen, set to ON to make the lens edge
invisible.
It might happen only if fluorescent light is shined fully on
screen.
10) PRIVACY
The function is used to configure up to 16 privacy masks, where the scene is prohibited or
undesired to be viewed.
And you can also make polygon type privacy mask up to 8 areas.

-In case of box type
ZONE NO (0~15): Select 16 areas using left or right
button.
ZONE DISP (ON/OFF): Show up PRIVACY AREA
function on the screen.
H-POS (0~60): H position.
V-POS (0~34): V position.
H-SIZE (0~40): H size.
V-SIZE (0~34): V size.
Y LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the Y LEVEL of the Privacy zone
area
CR LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the B GAIN of the Privacy zone area
CB LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the R GAIN of the Privacy zone area
-In case of polygon type
ZONE NO (0~7): Select 8 areas using left or right button.
ZONE DISP (ON/OFF): Show up PRIVACY AREA
function on the screen.
POS0-X (0~120): H position.
POS0-Y (0~68): V position.
POS1-X(0~120): H size.
POS1-Y(0~68): V size.
POS2-X( 0~120):H position
POS2-Y (0~68):V position.

Y LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the Y LEVEL of the Privacy
zone area
CR LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the B GAIN of the Privacy
zone area
CB LEVEL(0~20): Adjust the R GAIN of the Privacy zone area
TRANS (0~4): Set the transparency of a color
9. MOTION
The function is used to configure the Motion Detection
operation and Alarm function which sense the
movement of the scene.
DET WINDOW: Press this menu for detail setting.
SENSITIVITY (0~10): Set the motion detection
sensitivity.

MOTION OSD (On/Off): select whether motion area appears or not.
TEXT ALARM (On/Off): select whether motion text appears or not.
WINDOW USE (0~3): Select motion areas you desire to
set.
WINDOW ZONE: Select On or Off
DET H-POS(0~60): H position

10. OPTION COM
Set camera ID and BAUDRATE for remote control.
This camera supports D-max and Pelco protocol.
In case of box camera can be used this function only.

☞Caution
What’s POC
POC(power over coaxial) provides camera power through coaxial cable remotely, so
there’s no need of power cable installation.
Please be advised that following guidelines before you go with POC
- You should use the POC device our D-MAX team offer
- Make sure to use power voltage in accordance with more than 19V 1A
- Non-IR camera gets its power supply from POC device up to 300m
- IR camera’s maximum transmission distance depends on the number of LED.
(24IR camera : max 150m / 30IR or 36IR camera : max 100m / 54IR camera : Max
80m)
- Transmission distance can vary slightly depending on the nature of cable and some
preferential cables are as follows.
(ECX5C cable can be favorable when POC is used. 5CHFBT would help a lot when
only power is transmitted.)
What’s EX-SDI
EX-SDI(Extended Serial Digital Interface) IS the new transmission technology that
remedies existing HD-SDI system’s shortcomings
EX-SDI accompanies 2 times longer transmission distance compared to HD-SDI.
300m transmission distance is guaranteed by using 5CHFBT, ECX5C2V and RG59 but it
differs from cable manufacturer to manufacturers
