installation
IMPORTANT: Do NOT use as a transportation device!
This should be used as a walking aid only!
STEP 1
1. Upon receiving your rollator, please check the contents carefully.
Report any missing items to your authorized Drive dealer immediately.
2. Contents:
a. Folded rollator with main frame, seat and wheels installed.
b. 2 Handles attached by brake cables
c. Soft folding basket
d. 2 Handle Knobs, 2 Knobs Bolts
e. Back Support
f. Soft seat cushion
g. Owner’s manual
3. Adjust handle height. Put Knob Bolts through from inside. Tighten until
it is snug.
STEP 2
Checking the Brakes and Wheels:
1. The braking system provides safety and ease of operation. Hold
(squeeze) to brake and press down on the brake handle for parking.
2. Check braking system. The wheels should stay locked while parking
brake is activated.
3. Do not activate parking brake while walker is moving. This may cause
permanent damage to the wheels.
4. Always activate parking brake before using the seat.

STEP 3
Maintenance & Care:
1. Adjust brake cable from time to
time to ensure proper braking. To
tighten the brake, loosen brake
adjustment A & B. Test brakes for
tightness. When desired tightness
is reached, tighten A. (figure 1)
2. Check tightness of nut and bolts
regularly.
3. Check frame and tire integrity at least once a month.
To fold your Arc Lite rollator, pull up on the seat center handle and the
rollator will remain standing up.
To unfold your Arc Lite Rollator, simply push down on the middle of the
seat until the rollator is in a fully open poisition.
To carry your Arc Lite Rollator while folded, simply pick it up by the center
handle and lift the rollator, carrying it at your side like a suitcase.
Apply the brakes by pulling both brake handles upwards. Do not walk with
brakes on.

Press down on both brake handles until you hear a distinct click sound. Always
make sure that both brakes are engaged. Pull upwards to release the parking
brakes. When using the seat, both brakes MUST be in the locked position for
your safety.
From time to time, you might need to adjust the tension on the brake cable
system. To increase the tension on the brake cable simply loosen brake
adjusting nut “A”, unscrew the knurled end piece “B” and turn it counter-
clockwise about 4 complete turns. “A” and “B” are found at the back of the
brake handle. When desired tension is reached, retighten the nut. No tools
are necessary to perform this adjustment.
To adjust the handle knobs and
knob bolts to a suitable height,
stand behind the rollator with
your shoulders level. The
handles should be at the same
height or slightly higher than the
user’s wrist. A therapist might
suggest a different handle height
to accommmodate a specific
need for the user.
Referring to Figure 2, remove
the knob and pull the hex bolt
out to adjust the handle to the prescribed or desired handle height. Then,
insert the hex bolt ensuring that the hexogonal part of the bolt fits properly
on the hexagonal cut out on the frame of the Arc Lite rollator. Lastly, tighten
the knob snugly.
CAUTION: Do NOT over-tighten!

• Use only as a walking aid!
• Maximum user weight: 300 lbs.
• Regularly check the screws and fasteners on the Nitro and retighten if
necessary.
• Use bag only for transport of objects and do not overload.
• Please make sure the Rollator is fully opened, seat is down and the
folding bar under seat is locked in the down position.
• Be sure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights.
Test Rollator for stability before applying full weight to hand grips.
• Always lock the brake lever before sitting and do not use seat when unit
is on an incline or uneven ground.
• Replace tires when significantly worn or damaged.
• DO NOT MOVE ROLLATOR WHILE SEATED. This is a walking aid
only and is not to be used as a transportation device.

Clean regularly by hand with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive
detergents.
basket installment
To install the folding soft basket, fold the Arc Lite rollator part way by
pulling on the center seat handle, and insert the black basket brackets
on the rails on both inside frames. Push on the middle of the seat to
open the rollator.
CAUTION: Make sure you hear the “Click” sound for proper
positioning of the basket.
