Before you install this kit — Read and understand all
instructions, warnings, cautions, and notes contained in
this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner’s manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and
knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that
you are capable of performing this install please take this
product to a trained professional.

recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during

components and the safety of the vehicle

Begin by unpacking all items and
inspecting for missing pieces or
damage. If you have any concerns,
please contact the company the
product was purchased from.
Remove factory rear bumper and, if
equipped, the factory hitch.

STEP 3
Begin by installing frame horns on
the rails using a 21mm Socket and
four factory bolts, secure but do not
tighten.
NOTE: Take notice of the orientation of the
frame horns. Pictured is the drivers side.
STEP 4
Install hitch by lifting it up to the
frame horns and inserting the four
factory bolts to hold it up.
NOTE: An extra pair of hands will make
this process easier

Align the hitch so it is even and level,
then secure the factory bolts and
hardware using a 18mm socket and
wrench.
NOTE: Some may prefer to put the hitch as
high as possible for more clearance.
On the pod lights, line the bracket up
with the existing holes on both sides
of the light. Drop a M6 nut in so that
the light assembly holds the nut in
place.

STEP 9
Rotate the light so gravity holds the
nut in place, and thread a M6x15 bolt
in from the bottom gently until it
catches the threads. Repeat on the
other side of the light. Rotate bracket
to the side of the light without wiring,
leave this loose enough to allow for
adjustment.
Using a 13mm socket, install lights
and bracket assemblies on the
bumper using the provided M8x25
bolts and hardware. Center
the lights in the bumper, and then
secure all hardware.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other
light.

Lift the bumper to the frame horns
and using an 18mm socket install
the M12x35 bolts and hardware.
Ensure the bumper is centered before
securing.
Lower the tailgate and, using a T27
torx bit remove the four screws
securing the cover and remove.
STEP 11
Finish securing the two factory bolts
on the bottom of the frame horn
using a 21mm socket.

Unplug the camera harness and tuck
out of the way.
Take the smaller piece of foam
padding and attach to license plate
light by removing the material
covering the sticky side and slide
wires through. Press on foam to
adhere it to the light.
STEP 14
Remove camera assembly by sliding
it towards the bottom of the tailgate
and then pulling out gently.

Using a philips head screwdriver
attach the light to the tailgate
bracket by sliding the wires through
the gap and secure using the M4x15
bolts and hardware.

Take the larger piece of foam padding,
remove the material covering the
sticky side, and apply to bracket.
STEP 19
Install license plate using provided
allen wrench and provided M6
hardware.
NOTE: Picture shows the bracket installed
on the Jeep because we did this step last,
but recommend doing it at this stage.
STEP 18
Slide wires through the gaps in the
bracket so that it protrudes out of the
bracket through the opening.

Install bracket by putting the square
backing plate inside the tail gate,
and secure using a 10mm socket and
two M6 silver hatted nuts. Ensure the
bracket is centered when securing it.
Wire the license plate using the
existing license plate light wiring. Red
to white, and black to black.

Feed camera harness through the
gaps so that it protrudes out of the
tailgate and reconnect to the camera.
Reinstall camera by pushing the top
section in and then sliding upwards
until secure.

Reinstall cover with the factory
screws using a T27 torx bit.

Double check all hardware is secure.
