1.1Operationofliftingplatforms
Thisliftisspeciallydesignedforliftingmotorvehicles.Usersarenotallowedtouseitforanyotherpurposes.Theapplicablenational
regulations,lawsanddirectivesmustbeobserved.
Onlyusersaged18orabovewhohavebeeninstructedonhowtooperatetheliftingplatformandhaveproventheirabilitytodosotothe
owneraretobeentrustedwithunsupervisedoperationofliftingplatforms.Thetaskofoperatingtheliftingplatformsmustbegrantedin
writing.
Beforeloadingavehicleontothelift,usersshouldstudytheoriginaloperationinstructionsandfamiliarizethemselveswiththeoperating
proceduresinseveraltrialruns.
Liftvehiclewithintheratedload.Don’tattempttoraisevehicleswithexcessiveweight.
1.2Checkingoftheliftingplatforms
Checksaretobebasedonthefollowingdirectivesandregulations:
Basicprinciplesfortestingliftingplatforms
Thebasichealthandsafetyrequirementsstipulatedinthedirective2006/42/EC
HarmonizedEuropeanstandards
Theapplicableaccidentpreventionregulations
Thechecksaretobeorganizedbytheuseroftheliftingplatform.Theuserisresponsibleforappointinganexpertorqualifiedpersonto
performchecking.Itmustbeensurethatthepersonchosensatisfiestherequirements.
Theuserbearsspecialresponsibilityifemployeesofthecompanyareappointedasexpertsorqualifiedpersons.
1.2.1Scopeofchecking
Regularcheckingessentiallyinvolvesperformingavisualinspectionandafunctionaltest.Thisincludescheckingtheconditionofthe
componentsandequipment,checkingthatthesafetysystemsarecompleteandfunctioningproperlyandthattheinspectionlogbookis
completelyfilledin.Thescopeofexceptionalcheckingdependsonthenatureandextentofanystructuralmodificationorrepairwork.
1.2.2Regularchecking
Afterinitialcommissioning,liftingplatformsaretobecheckedbyaqualifiedpersonatintervalsofnotlongerthanoneyear.
Aqualifiedpersonissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossesssufficientknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhois
sufficientlyfamiliarwiththepertinentnationalregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesof
engineeringtobeabletoassessthesafeoperatingconditionofliftingplatforms.
1.2.3Exceptionalchecking
Liftingplatformswithaliftheightofmorethan2metersandliftingplatformsintendedforusewithpeoplestandingundertheloadbearing
elementsoftheloadaretobecheckedbyanexpertpriororreusefollowingstructuralmodificationsandmajorrepairstoloadbearing
components.
Anexpertissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossessspecialistknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhoissufficiently

familiarwiththepertinentnationalworksafetyregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesof
engineeringtobeabletocheckandgiveanexpertoptiononliftingplatforms.
1.3Importantsafetynotices
1.3.1Recommendforindooruseonly.DOnotexposethelifttorain,snoworexcessivemoisture.
1.3.2Onlyusethisliftonasurfacethatisstableandcapableofsustainingtheload.Donotinstalltheliftonanyasphaltsurface.
1.3.3Readandunderstandallsafetywarningsbeforeoperatingthelift.
1.3.4Donotleavethecontrolswhiletheliftisstillinmotion.
1.3.5Keephandsandfeetawayfromanymovingparts.Keepfeetclearoftheliftwhenlowering.
1.3.6Onlytheseproperlytrainedpersonnelcanoperatethelift.
1.3.7Donotwearunfitclothessuchaslargeclotheswithflounces,tires,etc.,whichcouldbecaughtbymovingpartsofthelift.
1.3.8Topreventevitableincidents,surroundingareasoftheliftmustbetidyandwithnothingunconcerned.
1.3.9Theliftissimplydesignedtolifttheentirebodyofvehicles,withitsmaximumweightwithintheliftingcapacity.
1.3.10Alwaysinsurethesafetylocksareengagedbeforeanyattempttoworknearorunderthevehicle.Neverremovesafetyrelated
componentsfromthelift.Donotuseifsafetyrelatedcomponentsaredamagedormissing.
1.3.11Donotrockthevehiclewhileontheliftorremoveanyheavycomponentfromvehiclethatmaycauseexcessiveweightshift.
1.3.12Checkatanytimethepartsofthelifttoensuretheagilityofmovingpartsandtheperformanceofsynchronization.Ensureregular
maintenanceandifanythingabnormaloccurs,stopusingtheliftimmediatelyandcontactourdealersforhelp.
1.3.13Lowerthelifttoitslowestpositionanddoremembertocutoffthepowersourcewhenservicefinishes.
1.3.14Donotmodifyanypartsoftheliftwithoutmanufacturer’sadvice.
1.3.15Iftheliftisgoingtobeleftunusedforalongtime,usersarerequiredto:
a.Disconnectthepower;
b.Emptytheoiltank;
c.Lubricatethemovingpartswithhydraulicoil.

Packing,lifting,handling,transportingoperationsmustbeperformedonlybyexperiencedpersonnelwith
appropriateknowledgeoftheliftandafterreadingthismanual.

2.2Storage
Thepacksmustbekeptinacoveredandprotectedareainatemperaturerange0f‐10℃to+40℃.Theymustnotbeexposedtodirect
sunlight,rainorwater.
Stackingthepacks
Weadviseagainststackingbecausethepacksarenotdesignedforthistypeofstorage.Thenarrowbase,heavyweightandlargesizeofthe
packsmakestackingdifficultandpotentiallydangerous.
Ifstackingisunavoidable,useallappropriateprecautions:
‐neverstacktomorethan2metersinheight.
‐nevermakestacksofsinglepacks.Alwaysstackpairsofpacksinacrosspatternsothatthebaseisbiggerandtheresultingstackismore
stable.Oncethestackiscomplete,restrainitusingstraps,ropesorothersuitablemethods.
Amaximumoftwopackscanbestackedonlorries,incontainers,andinrailwaywagons,onconditionthatthepacksarestrappedtogether
andrestrainedtostopthemfalling.
2.3Liftingandhandling
Thepackscanbeliftedandtransportedonlybyusinglifttrucks.Neverattempttohoistortransporttheunitusingliftingslings.
Whentheliftisdeliveredmakesurethatithasnotbeendamagedduringtransportationandthatallthepartsspecifiedonthepackinglist
arepresent.
Packsmustbeopenedadoptingalltheprecautionsrequiredtoavoidinjurytopersons(keepatasafedistancewhencuttingthestraps)or
damagetopartsofthemachine(becarefulthatnopartsaredroppedwhileyouareopeningthepacking)
Takespecialcarewiththehydraulicpowerunit,thecontrolpanelandthecylinder.

Theusermusthavethefollowingworkperformedbeforeerectingthelift.
Constructionofthefoundationfollowingconsultationwiththemanufacturer’scustomerserviceoranauthorizedserviceagent.
Routingofthewiringtotheinstallationlocation.Theusermustprovidefuseprotectionfortheconnection.Electricalsystem

Step1:Removethepackaging,takeoutthecartonforaccessoriesandcoverplate.
Step2:Firstly,putsomethingsupportingbetweenthetwopostsorsuspendoneofthepostsbyacraneandthenremovetheboltsonthe
package.
Attention
:
Pleasepayspecialattentionnottoletthepostfalldownforitmaycausecasualtyorbringdamagestotheaccessoriesfixedinthe
post.
Step3:Whenthefirstposthasbeentakenaway,placesomethingsupporterunderthesecondpostandthenremovetheboltsonthe
package.
Step4:Fixthestandingpositionforthetwoposts.(seeAnnex1,floorplan)
1.Unfoldthepackageanddecideonwhichpostthepowerunitwillbemounted.
2.Drawanoutlineofthebaseplateonthegroundwithchalkandascertainthepositionforthepost.
Step5:Connectcrossbeam.
Makethepostsfacetoeachotherandthedistancebetweenthepostsequalstothelengthoftheoverheadcrossbeam.Fixthebeamtothe
postsbyscrewM12×20.

Step6:Erectandsecurethepost.
1.Usesuitablemeanstoraisetheliftingcarriagetothefirstlatchingposition.Allthemountingholesinthebaseplatearethenaccessible.
Makesurethelockingpawlisengaged.
2.Checkthepositionofthebaseplatesagain.
3.Drillthemountingholes.Removethedrillingdustfromthehole.
4.Useaspiritleveltochecktheverticalalignmentoftheliftingposts.Ifnecessary,placeequalizingplatesunderthebaseplates.The
equalizingplatesmustbeofthesamelengthasthesideofthebaseplaterestingonthem.Otherwisetheloadofthebaseplatewillnotbe
transferredevenlytothefoundation.
5.Erectandsecuretheotherpostsimilarly.
Step7:Connectthesynchronizationsteelropes.
1.Routeandfixaccordingtothefollowingdiagramofsteelcableconnection.
2.Raisebothcarriagestothefirstlatchingposition(approximately800mmabovetheground).3.Makesurethatthemechanicalsafetylocks
ineachpostarefullyengagedbeforeattemptingtoroutecables.
4.Afterthecablebeingfixed,adjustandmakethecableatbothsidesbewiththesametightnesswhichcouldbejudgedbythesound
emittedduringliftingprocess.
5.Greaseafterbeingfixed.(Itisamust.)

Step10:Installliftingarms.
Connecttheliftingarmandthecarriage.Thearmpinshafts(No.2)mustbegreasedattheinstallation
Installtheliftingarmsontothecarriagesandensurethearmlockcouldwork.
Attention:InstallLiftingarmsandfixfeetprotectionbarsONLYafterthecompleteassemblyhasbeenerectedandanchored.
Step11:Fillwithhydraulicoil.
CLEANANDFRESHOILONLY.DON’TFILLTHETANKCOMPLETELYFULL.
Liftmustbefullyloweredbeforechangingoraddinghydraulicoil.
Prepare13litersofhydraulicoil.Firstly,fillabout10litersintotheoiltankandruntheliftupanddownfor2or3times.
Afterrunningtheliftforseveralcycles,addmoreoilifnecessarytoraiselifttofullheight.
Note:ItissuggestedtouseNO.46hydraulicoilwhenaveragetemperatureofthelocationisabove18degreeCelsiusandusingNO.32
hydraulicoilwhentemperatureisbelow18degreeCelsius.
Changetheoil6monthsafterinitialuseandchangeonceperyearthereafter.
Step12:Trialrunning.
Getfamiliarwithliftcontrolsbyrunningtheliftthroughafewcyclesbeforeloadingvehicleonlift.
Thisstepisofparticular
importanceforitcancheckiftheoilhosesarewellconnected.Theconnectionisqualifiedwhenthereisnoabnormalsoundorleakageafter
havingbeentestedfor5‐6times.
Bleedingthehydraulicsystem
Unscrewbutdon'tremovethenutontopoftheoilcylinderandslightlypresstheUPbuttonuntiloilgetsout.Screwthenuttightthereafter.
Afterbleeding,oillevelinpowerunitreservoirmaybedown.Raiseandlowerliftseveralcycles.Addmoreoilifnecessarytoraiselifttofull
height.Itisonlynecessarytoaddoiltoraiselifttofullheight.
Checkthemechanicalsafetylockingunit.
Checkifitssafetylockingplatescanbeeffectivelyengagedorreleasedintherunningprocess.
Checkthesynchronizationofbothliftingcarriages.
Ensurethesynchronizationbyadjustingthebalancesteelcablesatbothsides.Makebothcablesbeofthesametightness.
Thiscouldbejudgedbythesoundemittedbythesafetylockingunitduringliftingprocess.
Iftheliftdoesn'traise,themotormayturninthewrongdirection.Insuchevent,interchangewiresU,Vintheconnectionbox.
