1.1Operationofliftingplatforms
Thisliftisspeciallydesignedforliftingmotorvehicles.Usersarenotallowedtouseitforanyotherpurposes.Theapplicablenational
regulations,lawsanddirectivesmustbeobserved.
Onlyusersaged18orabovewhohavebeeninstructedonhowtooperatetheliftingplatformandhaveproventheirabilitytodosotothe
owneraretobeentrustedwithunsupervisedoperationofliftingplatforms.Thetaskofoperatingtheliftingplatformsmustbegrantedin
writing.
Beforeloadingavehicleontotheliftingplatform,usersshouldstudytheoriginaloperationinstructionsandfamiliarizethemselveswiththe
operatingproceduresinseveraltrialruns.
Liftvehiclewithintheratedload.Don’tattempttoraisevehicleswithexcessiveweight.
1.2Checkingoftheliftingplatforms
Checksaretobebasedonthefollowingdirectivesandregulations:
Basicprinciplesfortestingliftingplatforms
Thebasicsafetyrequirementsstipulatedinthedirective2006/42/EC
Theapplicableaccidentpreventionregulations
Thechecksaretobeorganizedbytheuseroftheliftingplatform.Theuserisresponsibleforappointinganexpertorqualifiedpersonto
performchecking.Itmustbeensurethatthepersonchosensatisfiestherequirements.
Theuserbearsspecialresponsibilityifemployeesofthecompanyareappointedasexpertsorqualifiedpersons.
1.2.1Scopeofchecking
Regularcheckingessentiallyinvolvesperformingavisualinspectionandafunctionaltest.Thisincludescheckingtheconditionofthe
componentsandequipment,checkingthatthesafetysystemsarecompleteandfunctioningproperlyandthattheinspectionlogbookis
completelyfilledin.Thescopeofexceptionalcheckingdependsonthenatureandextentofanystructuralmodificationorrepairwork.
1.2.2Regularchecking
Afterinitialcommissioning,liftingplatformsaretobecheckedbyaqualifiedpersonatintervalsofnolongerthanoneyear.
Aqualifiedpersonissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossesssufficientknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhois
sufficientlyfamiliarwiththepertinentnationalregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesofengineering
tobeabletoassessthesafeoperatingconditionofliftingplatforms.
1.2.3Exceptionalchecking
Liftingplatformswithaliftheightofmorethan2metersandliftingplatformsintendedforusewithpeoplestandingundertheloadbearing
elementsoftheloadaretobecheckedbyanexpertpriororreusefollowingstructuralmodificationsandmajorrepairstoloadbearing
components.
Anexpertissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossessspecialistknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhoissufficiently
familiarwiththepertinentnationalworksafetyregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesofengineering
tobeabletocheckandgiveanexpertoptiononliftingplatforms.

1.3Importantsafetynotices
1.3.1Recommendforindooruseonly,DOnotexposethelifttorain,snoworexcessivemoisture.
1.3.2Onlyusethisliftonasurfacethatisstable,levelanddryandnotslippery,andcapableofsustainingtheload.Donotinstallthelifton
anyasphaltsurface.
1.3.3Readandunderstandallsafetywarningsbeforeoperatingthelift.
1.3.4Donotleavethecontrolswhiletheliftisstillinmotion.
1.3.5Keephandsandfeetawayfromanymovingparts.Keepfeetclearoftheliftwhenlowering.
1.3.6Onlytheseproperlytrainedpersonnelcanoperatethelift.
1.3.7Donotwearunfitclothessuchaslargeclotheswithflounces,tires,etc.,whichcouldbecaughtbymovingpartsofthelift.
1.3.8Topreventevitableincidents,surroundingareasoftheliftmustbetidyandwithnothingunconcerned.
1.3.9Theliftissimplydesignedtolifttheentirebodyofvehicles,withitsmaximumweightwithintheliftingcapacity.
1.3.10Alwaysinsurethesafetylocksareengagedbeforeanyattempttoworknearorunderthevehicle.Neverremovesafetyrelated
componentsfromthelift.Donotuseifsafetyrelatedcomponentsaredamagedormissing.
1.3.11Donotrockthevehiclewhileontheliftorremoveanyheavycomponentfromvehiclethatmaycauseexcessiveweightshift.
1.3.12Checkatanytimethepartsofthelifttoensuretheagilityofmovingpartsandtheperformanceofsynchronization.Ensureregular
maintenanceandifanythingabnormaloccurs,stopusingtheliftimmediatelyandcontactourdealersforhelp.
1.3.13Lowerthelifttoitslowestpositionanddoremembertocutoffthepowersourcewhenservicefinishes.
1.3.14Donotmodifyanypartsoftheliftwithoutmanufacturer’sadvice.
1.3.15Iftheliftisgoingtobeleftunusedforalongtime,usersarerequiredto:
a.Disconnectthepower;
b.Emptytheoiltank;
c.Lubricatethemovingpartswithhydraulicoil.

1.5Risksandsafetyinstructions
Duringliftfunctioning,theoperatormustremaininthecontrolstationasdefinedinfigure1.
Thepresenceofpersonsbeneaththecross‐piecesand/ortheplatformswhentheyaremoving,orthepresenceofpersonsinsidethedanger
zoneindicatedinfigure2isstrictlyprohibited.Theareaoccupiedfromtheliftanditssurroundingwidth1,2metersoftheliftaredefinedas
“DANGERZONE”.
Theoperatorparkingarea,onlyforoperatingthelift,isdefinedas“OPERATEORZONE”.
Duringoperationspersonsareadmittedtotheareabeneaththevehicleonlywhenthevehicleisalreadyintheelevatedposition,whenthe
cross‐piecesandplatformsarestationary,andwhenthemechanicalsafetydevices(wedges)arefirmlyengagedintheslotsonthesafetyrods.

When,duetooperationalreasons,theliftisstoppedatrelativelylowelevations(lessthan1.75mfromtheground)personnelmustbecareful

Causedbyoperationsinvolvingtheapplicationofforcesufficienttodisplacethevehicle.
Inthecaseoflargeorparticularlyheavyvehicles,suddenmovementcouldcreateanunacceptableoverloadorunevenloadsharing.Therefore,

Stackingthepacks
Weadviseagainststackingbecausethepacksarenotdesignedforthistypeofstorage.Thenarrowbase,heavyweightandlargesizeofthe
packsmakestackingdifficultandpotentiallydangerous.
Ifstackingisunavoidable,useallappropriateprecautions:
‐neverstacktomorethan2metersinheight.
‐nevermakestacksofsinglepacks.Alwaysstackpairsofpacksinacrosspatternsothatthebaseisbiggerandtheresultingstackismore
stable.Oncethestackiscomplete,restrainitusingstraps,ropesorothersuitablemethods.
Amaximumoftwopackscanbestackedonlorries,incontainers,andinrailwaywagons,onconditionthatthepacksarestrappedtogether
andrestrainedtostopthemfalling.

packaging..Neverattempttohoistortransporttheunitusingliftingslings.

Whentheliftisdeliveredmakesurethatithasnotbeendamagedduringtransportationandthatallthepartsspecifiedonthepackinglistare
present.
Packsmustbeopenedadoptingalltheprecautionsrequiredtoavoidinjurytopersons(keepatasafedistancewhencuttingthestraps)or
damagetopartsofthemachine(becarefulthatnopartsaredroppedwhileyouareopeningthepacking)

3.1Generaldescriptions
Thisfourpostliftisgenerallycomposedbyfourposts,twobeams,twoplatforms,ahydraulicoilcylinderandasetofpowerunit.Itisdrivenby
anelectro‐hydraulicsystem.Upanddownofplatformsiscontrolledbythetoandfromovementoftheoilcylinder.Toensuresafetyfor
operators,itisequippedwithmechanicalsafetylocksinthefourposts,whichwillautomaticallyengagedintheprocessofliftingsoasto
preventtheplatformsfromsuddendroppingdownincasethehydraulicsystemfailstowork.

Step1:Fixtheinstallationlayout.
Oncetheinstallationsiteisdetermined,markfirstthefourstandingpointsofthefourpostsbyatapemeasureandchalk.Ensuretwodiagonal
linesareofthesamelength.
Step2:Removethepackingmaterials.
1.Placesomewoodenbattens(thicknessofwhichshouldbemorethan80mm)ontheground(otherdependabledevicesmayalsoapplicable)
andthenuseforklifttohavethepackingrackremovedontothebattenssoastomakeitsbaseisofsomeclearancefromtheground.

4.Removetheshockabsorptionplasticfilmwithaknife.
Attention:Avoidscratchingthepaintingsurfaceandhoses.
Step3:Usetheforklifttohavethegeneralpartsproperlypositioned.
Forconvenientinstallation,itwouldbebettertopadsomethingsupportingundertheplatform.
Oilcylinder,steelcableandoilhosehavealreadybeenfixedinthepowersideplatform(platformwithoilcylinderbeneath)beforepacking.
Pulleysandsafetylocketc.havealreadybeenfixedinthebeamsbeforepacking.
Step4:Connecttheplatformsandbeams.
Firstly,connectthemainbeam(thebeamwhichconnectstothepowersidepost)withtwoplatforms.Alignaccuratelythescrewsocketsonthe
platformandthebeamandfastenthem(Installerscanadjustthedistancebetweentwoplatformsonbasisofpracticalneeds.)
Fixthewheelretainersontotheplatforms.Connecttheotherbeaminthesameway.

Step5:Connectpostsandcrossbeams.
1.Pullupthesafetyladderfromthepostwithitsbottomendhigherthantheheightofcrossbeam.
2.Pulltheposttothecrossbeamasthedirectionarrowshowedinthefollowingdrawing.Fastenthetopendofsafetyladderstothetopplate
ofeachpost.
3.Pulloutthesteelcablesfrombothendsofthecrossbeamandfastenthemonthetopplateofpost.

Aligntheendoftheplatformandtheholeontherampandconnectthemwithshaftandcotterpins.
Step8:Fitonfourpostcapsontopofthefourposts.
Step9:Connecttheelectricalandhydraulicsystem.
Refertoelectricalandhydraulicconnectiondiagramsbeforemakingconnection.
Attention:electricalsystemconnectionmustbedonebylicensedtechnicians.(Forthreephasepowersupply,iftheliftdoesn'traiseandthe
motormayturninthewrongdirection,insuchevent,interchangewiresU,Vinthecontrolcabinet).
Step10:Fillwithhydraulicoil.
ONLYCLEANANDFRESHOILONLY.Liftmustbefullyloweredbeforechangingoraddinghydraulicoil.
Pour10litersanti‐abrasionhydraulicoilintotheoiltank.Thelevelofoilshallreachthetippetsvolumemarkofthetank.
Runtheliftforseveralcyclesandaddmoreoiluntiltheliftingplatformcanreachitsmaximumheight.
Note:ItisrecommendedtouseNO.46hydraulicoilwhenaveragetemperatureofthelocationisabove18degreeCelsiusandusingNO.32
hydraulicoilwhentemperatureisbelow18degreeCelsius.
Changetheoil6monthsafterinitialuseandchangeonceperyearthereafter.
Step11:Levelling
Attention:Novehicleonplatformswhenlevelling.
Firstly,leveltheplatformswhenmechanicalsafetylocksaredisengaged.
SwitchonandpresstheUPbuttonwhenthegreenpowerindicatinglightison.Whenthesteelcablehasbeentightened,measureifthetwo
platformsareofthesameheightfromthegroundwithalevelingpipe.Ifnot,adjustscrew②fixedontopofthepowersidepost.
