Spin and learn!
Our wonderful new tactile Desktop Busy Box provides hours of fun. Spin
the busy box and discover different tactile experiences along with multi-
colored lights, a mirror, music, and vibration. When you press the red
mirrored plate, your pre-recorded message plays with 10 seconds of
recording time. Size: 7 1/2"L x 7 1/2"W x 5"H. Requires 2 AAA and 3 AA
Batteries.
Operation:
1. The Desktop Busy Box requires 2 AAA batteries and 3 AA batteries
(Not included). Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer
brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries
because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform
properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands
or types together.
2. The battery compartments are located on the bottom of the unit. To
access the battery compartments you must first pull off the Velcro
attached Lazy Susan. To remove the battery compartment covers for
the AA & AAA batteries, unscrew the small Phillips Head screw on the
black battery cases, and then slide the covers off. Install new batteries,
being careful to observe proper (+) & (-) battery polarity. Replace
covers and screw. Set the ON/OFF toggle switch to ON.
3. Press the bumpy Orange plate and illuminating LED lights will flash in
multi colors.
4. Touch the Yellow bead chain plate or press the textured Blue plate and
listen to two different popular child melodies.
5. Press the Red mirrored plate to playback your own pre-recorded
message. To record a message, first press and hold the red record
button under the Lazy Susan, then while holding the record button
press the red plate and speak your message. When finished recording
release both. Maximum recoding time is 10 seconds.
6. Press the Green star plate to feel gentle vibration.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The Desktop Busy Box does not work.
Action #1: Make sure the ON/OFF switch is turned ON.
Action #2: Check all batteries for proper (+) & (-) battery polarity.
Action #3: Check to make sure noting is blocking or restricting the
movement of the activation plates.
Action #4: Replace batteries, new batteries. Never mix different brands,
types or old and new batteries.
Care of Unit:
The Busy Box can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose
cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non
toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
When finished playing with the Busy Box turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF
to help prevent battery drain. For prolonged storage we recommend
removing the batteries.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and the electrical
components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
