1. Textured Tunes requires 4 AA & C size batteries. Use alkaline
batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand . Do not use
rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they
supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix
old and new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. The battery compartments are located on the underside of the unit.
To install the batteries, turn the
unit
over. You will need to first
remove the Lazy Susan Base to access the 2 AA battery
compartments. The Lazy Susan is held in place by two Phillips head
screws. Rotate the metal base until the two screws are visible (see
Fig. 1 . Remove the screws and lift the Lazy Susan off. Next remove
the small Phillips head screws from the black battery cases. Next
slide the covers off.
3. Install the batteries, following proper (+ & (- battery polarity. Replace
covers and screws. Replace the Lazy Susan and secure with the
screws. Mounted on a Lazy Susan base allows users the ability to
spin the Textured Tunes for easy access to all of the textures. Turn
the On/Off/Volume knob and set to an audible level. Vibration can
also be set to On/Off using the toggle switch. There is also an On/Off
switch for the lights. The On/Off slide switch for the lights is located
on the front side of the C battery case.
4. The Textured Tunes plays six different melodies. When you push
anywhere on one of the four interchangeable textured tops it will play
one of six melodies while the LED lights flash and illuminate. The
melodies will play in its entirety; once the music stops another
activation of the textured top will play the next melody.
