This adorable toy dog walks forward, backward and barks when you
activate your capability switch. Size: 4 ½ "W x 6"L x 6"H. Weight: ½
lb. Requires 2 AA Batteries.

1. ShihTzu Puppy requires 2 AA Batteries to operate. Alkaline
batteries must be used (e.g. Duracell or Energizer Brands . Do
not use rechargeable batteries because they supply a lower
voltage and the unit may not perform as well. Never mix old and
new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. Turn ShihTzu Puppy upside down to reveal the battery
compartment. Remove the small screw with a Phillips Head
screwdriver. Install 2 AA batteries paying close attention to
proper battery polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover
and screw.
3. Connect ShihTzu Puppy to any external capability switch (not
included via the jack located at the end of ShihTzu Puppy’s cord.
ShihTzu Puppy is equipped with a 1/8" jack for use with external
capability switches with a 1/8" plug. Make sure to plug your
switch all the way in. There should be no gaps.
4. Actuate your external capability switch and ShihTzu Puppy will
spring to life! He will walk forward, backward and bark.
5. ShihTzu Puppy will remain on while the external capability switch
continues to be actuated. Once you release the external
capability switch, there will be a brief delay, and then ShihTzu
Puppy will turn off.

• Do not inhibit ShihTzu Puppy’s movement, as this may cause
irreversible damage.
• Do not lift ShihTzu Puppy up by his head, tail or legs, or drop
ShihTzu Puppy.
• If you will not be using ShihTzu Puppy for an extended amount of
time, we recommend removing the batteries.
