Textured Tunes Lights, Music & Vibration
#4551
USER’S GUIDE
A fantastic sensory experience!
Our new and exciting sensory toy provides you with hours of fun. It is
mounted on a lazy susan for easy access of experiencing all the different
tactile modes and comes with four interchangeable tactile colorful balls, bead
chains, multi-colored blinking lights, six upbeat musical tunes and vibration
which can be turned on or off. Just swipe at the ball and the fun begins. Size:
9 3/4"R x 6"H. Requires 4 AA and 2 C Batteries.
Operation:
1. Textured Tunes requires 4 AA & C size batteries. Use alkaline batteries
only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage
and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries
together or different brands or types together.
2. The battery compartments are located on the underside of the unit. To
install the batteries, turn the unit over. You will need to first remove the
Lazy Susan Base to access the 2 AA battery compartments. The Lazy
Susan is held in place by two Phillips head screws. Rotate the metal base
until the two screws are visible (see Fig. 1). Remove the screws and lift
the Lazy Susan off. Next remove the small Phillips head screws from the
black battery cases. Next slide the covers off.
3. Install the batteries, following proper (+) & (-) battery polarity. Replace
covers and screws. Replace the Lazy Susan and secure with the screws.
Mounted on a Lazy Susan base allows users the ability to spin the
Textured Tunes for easy access to all of the textures. Turn the
On/Off/Volume knob and set to an audible level. Vibration can also be
set to On/Off using the toggle switch. There is also an On/Off switch for
the lights. The On/Off slide switch for the lights is located on the front
side of the C battery case.
4. The Textured Tunes plays six different melodies. When you push
anywhere on one of the four interchangeable textured tops it will play
one of six melodies while the LED lights flash and illuminate. The
melodies will play in its entirety; once the music stops another activation
of the textured top will play the next melody.
Changing the Textured Tops:
5. The textured tops are removable to give the user different textures and
also for easy cleaning. With one hand hold down on the black base and
lift up on the textured top’s yellow disk. Please Note: Do not remove any
of the tops by the top’s themselves. Only remove them by pulling on
their yellow disc plate. The textured tops are held in place by Velcro. To
replace a top simply press in firmly down on the base to insure a strong
hold.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The units sounds melodies or lights fails to operate, or operates
incorrectly.
Action: Check all batteries making sure they are installed with proper (+) &
(-) battery polarity.
Action: Check that all batteries are fresh, if not replace with new batteries.
Problem: top plate seems to be stuck / jammed.
Action: visually inspect the switch plate area underneath, making sure there
is nothing obstructing or blocking the plate from moving freely.
Care of Unit:
The Textured Tunes can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose
cleaner or disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic
biodegradable all-purpose cleaner. Use caution not to get cleaning fluid or
any liquid under the plate areas.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
