Press the body of this Crawl About Dog or activate your capability
switch and this cute critter will scoot across the floor and play
twelve different melodies. Great for teaching cause and effect
and for developing tactile skills. Size: 8½"L x 6"W x 3"H.
Requires 2 AA Batteries. Weight: ½ lb.
Operation:
. Crawl About Dog requires 2 AA batteries (Not included) to
operate. Alkaline batteries are recommended because they
last longer. Do not use rechargeable batteries because they
supply a lower voltage and the unit may not perform as well.
2. Locate the Velcro closure site on the bottom of Crawl About
Dog. Open this up to reveal the battery compartment. Using
a Phillips head screwdriver open the compartment and install
2 AA batteries paying close attention to proper battery
polarity.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with
the screw. Close up the Velcro attachment site. Please
note: place the battery compartment with the speaker facing
out towards the bottom of Crawl About Dog.
4. Connect Crawl About Dog to any external capability switch
(not included) via the jack located at the end of Crawl About
Dog’s cord. Crawl About Dog are equipped with a /8" mono
jack for use with external capability switches that have a /8"
mono plug. Make sure you plug your switch all the way in.
There should be no gaps.
5. Actuate your external capability switch and Crawl About Dog
will play one of 2 melodies.
6. Once you release the external capability switch, Crawl About
Dog will finish playing the song (approximately 0 seconds),
and turn off.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Crawl About Dog does not function correctly.
Action #1: Replace the batteries paying close attention to
proper battery polarity.
Action #2: Make sure that the connection between the external
capability switch and the jack is plugged in all the way. There
should be NO gaps.
Action #3: Try your switch with another switch operated
toy/device in an effort to rule out your switch as the source of
the problems.
Care of Unit:
If you will not be using Crawl About Dog for an extended
amount of time, we recommend removing the batteries.
Do not submerge the unit in water, as it will damage the
electrical components. Crawl About Dog is surface washable
only.
