Omega and Atlas Cargo
Rack Installation
This guide shows how to install the rear rack on
your new EVELO bicycle. This applies to Atlas and
Omega models.

Step 1: Place taillight on rack with mounting
studs protruding through the slots as shown.
Place a washer and nut on each stud.
Step 2: Use a 10mm wrench or socket to tighten
the nuts, securing the light to the rack.
Step 3: Connect the light plug to the extension
wire. Line up the arrows on each half of the plug
and press them together.

Step 3: Open the seatpost quick release, then
unscrew it to remove the light. Unplug the
connector, then reassemble and tighten the
seatpost quick release.
Step 4: Using an allen wrench, remove the four
rack mounting bolts from the frame and discard.
New, longer bolts will be included with the
rack.
Step 5: Position the rack on the bike.
*The battery rack is shown here, but the
procedure is the same.

Step 6: Using an allen wrench, install the lower
mounting bolts. Use the longer bolts from the
rack package; the bolts that came on the bike
are too short to hold the rack securely.
Step 7: Using an allen wrench, install the upper
mounting bolts. Use the longer bolts from the
rack package; the bolts that came on the bike
are too short to hold the rack securely.
Step 8: Connect the new taillight to the
connector you unplugged earlier. Line up the
arrows on each half of the connector and push
them together.

Step 10: Your connections should now look like
this.
Step 11: Go ride your bike!
