Charging
Connect theincluded charge lead to thecharging port (12) on thespeaker and to
acomputer or other USB charger. Thecharging indicator (11) indicates as follows:
• Steady red light – Charging in progress.
• Steady blue light – Battery fully charged
LED indicator
TheLED indicator (8) indicates as follows:
• Flashing blue light – thespeaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
• Steady blue light – aBluetooth device is connected.
• Two quick flashes with aone-second interval – Bluetooth connection broken.
• Steady red light – external device connected to the3.5mm socket (10).
• Flashing red light – thebattery needs recharging.
Switching the speaker on and connecting
a Bluetooth device
1. Hold in [ ] for 3 seconds, theLED indicator (8) will flash red once and thespeaker
will emit anaudible “Power On” message. Release [ ], thespeaker will emit
anaudible, “Pairing” message, and theLED indicator will flash blue to show that
thespeaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
2. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired with thespeaker.
3. Thespeaker will appear in thelist of devices on your Bluetooth device as BNX100,
select it and connect it to your device (refer to themanual of your device if you
are unsure). Thespeaker will emit anaudible “Connecting” message, and theLED
indicator will change to asteady blue.
4. Start playback on theBluetooth device. Thevolume level and track can be changed
on either thespeaker or on your external device. Other playback settings can be
controlled from theexternal device.
5. If theBluetooth connection is broken and you need to make thespeaker detectable for
Bluetooth devices again, hold in [ ] for 3 seconds until theLED indicator flashes blue.
Note: If you are prompted to enter aPIN code on your Bluetooth device, you should
enter 0000 (four zeroes). Certain Bluetooth devices may also require you to approve
theconnection.
Connecting a device via the 3.5 mm aux-in socket
1. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable between your device and theaux input (10) on
thespeaker.
2. Start playback on thedevice.
