Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save it for
future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any necessary
changes made to technical data. In theevent of technical problems or other queries,

Safety
• This speaker can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of theappliance in asafe way and if
they understand thehazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep thespeaker and
its charger lead out of reach of children under theage of 8.
• Thespeaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been instructed in thesafe use of theproduct and understand
thehazards involved. Never let children play with thespeaker.
• Thespeaker should not be taken apart or modified. Never try to open thecasing
of thespeaker. Thecasing houses dangerous current-carrying non-insulated
components. Contact with these can lead to fire or electric shock.
• Do not cover thespeaker. Adequate ventilation, with adistance of at least 5cm
between thespeaker and surrounding surfaces, is necessary to prevent thespeaker
from overheating.
• Place thespeaker on astable, flat surface.
• Do not place thespeaker where it could fall into water or other liquids.
• Do not place thespeaker in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as
wood stoves, lit candles, etc.
• Never subject thespeaker to high temperatures, damp or dusty environments,
heavy vibrations or impacts.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to
permanent hearing loss.
• Thespeaker must only be repaired by qualified service technicians.

Charging
Connect theincluded charge lead to thecharging port (12) on thespeaker and to
acomputer or other USB charger. Thecharging indicator (11) indicates as follows:
• Steady red light – Charging in progress.
• Steady blue light – Battery fully charged
LED indicator
TheLED indicator (8) indicates as follows:
• Flashing blue light – thespeaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
• Steady blue light – aBluetooth device is connected.
• Two quick flashes with aone-second interval – Bluetooth connection broken.
• Steady red light – external device connected to the3.5mm socket (10).
• Flashing red light – thebattery needs recharging.
Switching the speaker on and connecting
a Bluetooth device
1. Hold in [ ] for 3 seconds, theLED indicator (8) will flash red once and thespeaker
will emit anaudible “Power On” message. Release [ ], thespeaker will emit
anaudible, “Pairing” message, and theLED indicator will flash blue to show that
thespeaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
2. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired with thespeaker.
3. Thespeaker will appear in thelist of devices on your Bluetooth device as BNX100,
select it and connect it to your device (refer to themanual of your device if you
are unsure). Thespeaker will emit anaudible “Connecting” message, and theLED
indicator will change to asteady blue.
4. Start playback on theBluetooth device. Thevolume level and track can be changed
on either thespeaker or on your external device. Other playback settings can be
controlled from theexternal device.
5. If theBluetooth connection is broken and you need to make thespeaker detectable for
Bluetooth devices again, hold in [ ] for 3 seconds until theLED indicator flashes blue.
Note: If you are prompted to enter aPIN code on your Bluetooth device, you should
enter 0000 (four zeroes). Certain Bluetooth devices may also require you to approve
theconnection.
Connecting a device via the 3.5 mm aux-in socket
1. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable between your device and theaux input (10) on
thespeaker.
2. Start playback on thedevice.

3. Adjust thevolume level on thespeaker or theexternal device.
Note: Thetrack can be changed using thebuttons on thespeaker once theexternal
device is connected via the3.5mm socket.
Connecting a Bluetooth device using NFC
(Near Field Communication)
Note: This feature is only available if your Bluetooth device is NFC-enabled.
1. Switch on thespeaker.
2. Activate NFC and Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device.
3. Hold thedevice up to theNFC zone (4) on thespeaker.
4. Your Bluetooth device will ask if you wish to connect to thespeaker.
5. Answer Yes and check theplayback via thespeaker and your Bluetooth device.
Switching the speaker off
Hold in [ ] for 3 seconds, theLED indicator (8) will go out and thespeaker will emit
anaudible “Power Off” message.
Incoming calls
If you receive acall whilst your phone is connected to thespeaker via Bluetooth:
• Press [ ] once to answer and use themicrophone in thespeaker.
• Press [ ] once to end thecall.
• Hold in [ ] for 2 seconds to reject thecall.
Care and maintenance
• Thespeaker has aningress protection rating of IPX4 which means that it can
withstand being splashed with water from all directions. This means that thespeaker
should survive light rain showers and damp conditions. Thespeaker is however, not
waterproof and should not be subjected to jets of water or immersion into water
or other liquid.
• Clean thespeaker using alightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thespeaker is not to be used for along time, thebattery should be fully charged
on aregular basis (every second month) to prolong its capacity.

Troubleshooting guide
TheBluetooth speaker
will not switch on.
• Thebattery might be flat. Recharge thebattery.
No sound from
thespeaker when
anexternal device
is connected via
Bluetooth/NFC.
• Check thevolume and play/pause status on both
theexternal device and speaker.
• Make sure that theBluetooth/NFC connection is
functioning properly.
• Test theplayback of thefile on theBluetooth device on
its own to make sure it works before connecting it to
thespeaker.
• Try using another file. Thefile you are attempting to play
may be incompatible or damaged.
• Make sure that no other wireless devices are disrupting
thecurrent Bluetooth connection.
No sound from
theexternal device
connected via
the3.5 mm aux-in
socket.
• Check for sufficient volume level on theconnected
device and thespeaker. Check theplay/pause button
on theconnected device.
• Check that thecable connecting thedevice and
thespeaker is undamaged and securely connected.
• Test theplayback of thefile on thedevice itself before
connecting it to thespeaker.
• Try using another file. Thefile you are attempting to play
may be incompatible or damaged.
Resetting to
factory settings.
• If theabove measures don’t solve theproblem,
thespeaker may need to be reset to its original factory
settings. Turn thespeaker on and press [-] and [+]
simultaneously to initiate afactory reset.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU.
In order to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in
for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that
theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Säkerhet

har fått instruktioner om hur högtalaren på ett säkert sätt ska användas och förstår

• Högtalaren får inte demonteras eller ändras. Försök aldrig öppna högtalaren.
Farlig spänning finns oskyddad på komponenter under höljet. Kontakt med
