rät nicht, bevor Sie diese
Betriebsanleitung gründlich

Bestimmung der Ladegeräte:
Die Ladegeräte ALG30, ALG40 und ALG50 sind bestimmt:
für den gewerblichen Einsatz im Handwerk, zum Auf- und Wiederaufladen von
Fein NiCd, NIMH und Li-Ion mit folgenden Eigenschaften
Spezielle Sicherheitshinweise.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab
8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Per-
sonen mit verringerten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähig-
keiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-
Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern
ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt
werden.

Halten Sie das Ladegerät von Regen
oder Nässe fern. Das Eindringen von
Wasser in ein Elektrogerät erhöht das
Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
Betreiben Sie das Ladegerät nicht auf
leicht brennbarem Untergrund bzw. in
brennbarer Umgebung. Wegen der
beim Laden auftretenden Erwärmung
des Ladegerätes besteht Brandgefahr.
Sorgen Sie während des Betriebs für
eine ausreichende Belüftung. Betrei-
ben Sie das Ladegerät nicht in
geschlossenen Schränken oder in der
Nähe von Wärmequellen. Umge-
bungstemperaturen größer als +45 °C
können zu Fehlfunktionen führen.
Laden Sie keine nicht wieder auflad-
baren Batterien. Ansonsten besteht
Brand- und Explosionsgefahr.
Halten Sie das Ladegerät sauber.
Durch Verschmutzung besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung
Ladegerät, Kabel und Stecker. Benut-
zen Sie das Ladegerät nicht, sofern Sie
Schäden feststellen. Öffnen Sie das
Ladegerät nicht selbst und lassen Sie
es nur von Fein oder einer Fein Ver-
tragswerkstatt reparieren. Beschä-
digte Ladegeräte, Kabel und Stecker
erhöhen das Risiko eines elektrischen
Schlages.
Ziehen Sie bei längerem Nichtge-
brauch den Akku vom Ladegerät ab
und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Ener-
giesparen schont die Umwelt.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Lade-
gerätes bei Reinigungsarbeiten aus
der Steckdose. Es besteht die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlages.
Es ist verboten Schilder und Zeichen
auf das Ladegerät zu schrauben oder
zu nieten. Eine beschädigte Isolierung
bietet keinen Schutz gegen elek-
trischen Schlag. Verwenden Sie Kle-
beschilder.
Laden Sie nur intakte original Fein-
Akkus, die für Ihr Elektrowerkzeug
bestimmt sind. Beim Laden von
falschen, beschädigten, reparierten
oder aufgearbeiteten Akkus, Nachah-
mungen und Fremdfabrikaten besteht
Brandgefahr und/oder Explosionsge-
fahr.
Verwendete Symbole, Abkürzungen und Begriffe.
Symbol, Zeichen Erklärung
Die beiliegenden Dokumente wie Betriebsanleitung und Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
unbedingt lesen.
Vor diesem Arbeitsschritt den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen.

schaft.
Dieser Hinweis zeigt eine möglicherweise gefährliche Situation an, die zu ernsten Verlet-

Bedienungshinweise.
Schließen Sie das Ladegerät ohne eingesetzten Akku an
die Steckdose an. Die gelbe LED-Anzeige leuchtet auf
und signalisiert die Betriebsbereitschaft.
Setzen Sie den Akku ein.
Die Überwachung des Ladevorganges wird durch grünes
Blinklicht signalisiert.
Das Ende des Ladevorganges wird durch grünes Dauer-
licht angezeigt.
Die Schnellladung startet automatisch, sobald die Akku-
temperatur im Ladetemperaturbereich von 0 °C bis 45 °C
liegt.
Bei extremer Tiefentladung kann der Ladevorgang nach
dem Aufschieben des Akkus mit einer Verzögerung von
mehreren Minuten einsetzen.
Bei aufgeladenen Li-Ion-Akkus schaltet das Ladegerät
automatisch ab.
Bei NiCd/NiMH-Akkus wird die Erhaltungsladung akti-
viert. Die grüne Anzeige leuchtet.
Wiederholtes Einsetzen eines geladenen Akkus führt zur
Überladung und beeinträchtigt die Lebensdauer des
Akkus.
Neue, noch nicht formierte NiCd/NiMH-Akkus bzw. tie-
fentladene NiCd/NiMH-Akkus, die neu formiert werden
müssen, erreichen erst nach 3–5 Lade-/Entladezyklen
ihre volle Kapazität.
Lässt der Akku trotz korrekter Aufladung innerhalb kur-
zer Zeit in seiner Leistung nach, so ist das Ende seiner
Lebensdauer erreicht.
ALG40: Der Aufsatz (9 26 04 103 01 0) ist ein Ersatzteil.
Befestigen Sie den Aufsatz nur mit den mitgelieferten
Original-Schrauben.

Bedeutung der LED-Anzeige.
Instandhaltung und Kundendienst.
Einmal pro Woche, bei häufigem Gebrauch öfter durch-
führen:
–Halten Sie die Kontakte im Aufsteckschuh sauber.
–Reinigen Sie die elektrischen Kontakte nur trocken.
–Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Metallspäne in das
Gehäuse des Ladegerätes eindringen.
Wenn die Anschlussleitung des Ladegerätes beschädigt
ist, muss diese von Fein oder einer Fein-Vertragswerk-
statt ausgetauscht werden, um Sicherheitsgefährdungen
zu vermeiden.
Gewährleistung und Garantie.
Die Gewährleistung auf das Erzeugnis gilt gemäß den
gesetzlichen Regelungen im Lande des Inverkehrbrin-
gens. Darüber hinaus leistet Fein Garantie entsprechend
der Fein-Hersteller-Garantieerklärung.
Im Lieferumfang Ihres Ladegerätes kann auch nur ein Teil
des in dieser Betriebsanleitung beschriebenen oder abge-
bildeten Zubehörs enthalten sein.

–Die Kontakte sind verschmutzt. Maßnahme: Die Kontakte durch mehrfaches Ein-
setzen und Entnehmen des Akkus reinigen.
–Der Akku ist defekt. Maßnahme: Akku ersetzen!

und rotes Blinklicht Die Akkutemperatur befindet sich außerhalb des Ladebereiches von 0 °C bis
+45 °C. Sobald der Akku den zulässigen Ladetemperaturbereich erreicht, wird

Intended use of the battery chargers:
The battery chargers ALG30, ALG40 and ALG50 are intended:
For commercial use in trades, for charging and re-charging Fein NiCd, NIMH
and lithium-ion batteries with the following characteristics:
Special safety instructions.
This charger can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning the safe use of the charger
and understand the hazards involved.
Children may not play with the
charger. Cleaning and users mainte-
nance may not be performed by chil-
dren without supervision.
Keep the battery charger away from
rain or moisture. The penetration of
water into an electrical device
increases the risk of an electric shock.
Do not operate the battery charger on
easily inflammable surfaces or in
combustible environments. The heat-
ing of the battery charger during the
charging process can pose a fire haz-
ard.

Provide for sufficient ventilation dur-
ing operation. Do not operate the bat-
tery charger in enclosed cabinets or in
close vicinity to heat sources. Ambi-
ent temperatures in excess of +45 °C
can lead to malfunctions.
Do not charge non-rechargeable bat-
teries. Otherwise there is danger of
fire and explosion.
Keep the battery charger clean. Con-
tamination can lead to danger of an
electric shock.
Before each use, check the battery
charger, cable and plug. If damage is
detected, do not use the battery
charger. Never open the battery
charger yourself, and have repairs
carried out only by Fein or an author-
ized Fein service agent. Damaged bat-
tery chargers, cables and plugs
increase the risk of an electric shock.
Remove the battery from the charger
and pull the mains plug when not
using for extended periods. Saving
energy helps to save the environment.
When cleaning the battery charger,
pull the mains plug out of the socket.
There is danger of electric shock.
Do not rivet or screw any name-plates
or signs onto the battery charger. If
the insulation is damaged, protection
against an electric shock will be inef-
fective. Adhesive labels are recom-
mended.
Charge only intact original Fein bat-
teries that are intended for your
power tool. When charging incorrect,
damaged, repaired or reconditioned
batteries, imitations or other brands,
there is danger of fire and/or explo-
sion.

Operating Instructions.
Connect the battery charger to the socket outlet without
a battery inserted. The yellow LED indicator lights up and
signals operational readiness.
Insert the battery.
The monitoring of the charge procedure is signalled by a
flashing green light.
The end of the charge procedure is indicated by continu-
ous green lighting.
The rapid charging starts automatically as soon as the bat-
tery temperature is within the charge-temperature range
of 0 °C to 45 °C.
In case of an extremely deep discharged battery, the
charging procedure may not start until after a delay of
several minutes after sliding on the battery.
When lithium-ion batteries are fully charged, the battery
charger switches off automatically.
For NiCd/NiMH batteries, trickle charging is activated.
The green indicator lights up.
Repeated inserting of a charged battery leads to over-
charging and affects the service life of the battery.
New NiCd/NiMH batteries that have not been formatted
yet, or deep discharged NiCd/NiMH batteries that need
to be re-formatted will not achieve their full capacity until
after 3 – 5 charging and discharging cycles.
If the battery becomes discharged within a short time
despite being charged correctly, it has reached the end of
its service life.
ALG40: The attachment (9 26 04 103 01 0) is a spare
part. Fasten the attachment only with the original screws
provided.

Meaning of the LED indicator.
Repair and customer service.
Once per week; more often in case of frequent usage:
–Keep the contacts in the slide-on shoe clean.
–Only dry-clean electrical contacts.
–Ensure that metal chips do not enter the battery-
charger housing.
When the battery charger’s power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by Fein or by an authorized Fein Service
Agent, in order to avoid hazardous situations.
Warranty and liability.
The warranty for the product is valid in accordance with
the legal regulations in the country where it is marketed.
In addition, Fein also provides a guarantee in accordance
with the Fein manufacturer’s warranty declaration.
The delivery scope of your battery charger may include
only a part of the accessories described or shown in this
Instruction Manual.
Declaration of conformity.
Fein declares itself solely responsible for this product
conforming with the relevant provisions given on the last
page of this Instruction Manual.

Packaging, worn out battery chargers and accessories
should be sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
Dispose of batteries only when discharged.
For batteries that are not completely discharged, insulate
the terminals with tape as a protective measure against
short-circuiting.

–Contacts contaminated. Improvement measure: Clean the contacts by inserting and
removing the battery several times.
–The battery is defective. Improvement measure: Replace the battery!

compris cette notice d’utilisa-
tion. Gardez bien ces documents pour
une utilisation ultérieure et les joindre
au chargeur en cas de transmission ou

Les chargeurs ALG30, ALG40 et ALG50 sont conçus :
comme outillage professionnel dans l’artisanat, pour charger et recharger des
batteries Fein NiCd, NIMH et Li-Ion avec les caractéristiques suivants

N’exposez pas le chargeur à la pluie
ou à des conditions humides. La péné-
tration d’eau dans un outil électropor-
tatif augmente le risque d’un choc
électrique.
N’utilisez pas le chargeur sur un sol
facilement inflammable ou dans un
environnement inflammable.
L’échauffement du chargeur lors du
processus de charge augmente le ris-
que d’incendie.
Veillez toujours à une aération suffi-
sante pendant l’utilisation. Ne faites
pas fonctionner le chargeur dans des
armoires fermées ou à proximité de
sources de chaleur. Les températures
environnantes supérieures à +45 °C
peuvent entraîner des dysfonctionne-
ments.
Ne chargez pas de piles non rechar-
geables. Sinon, il y a risque d’incendie
et d’explosion.
Maintenir le chargeur propre. Un
encrassement représente un risque de
choc électrique.
Avant toute utilisation, contrôler le
chargeur, la fiche et le câble. Ne pas
utiliser le chargeur si des défauts sont
constatés. N’ouvrez pas le chargeur
vous-même et ne le faites réparer que
par Fein ou un atelier agréé Fein. Des
chargeurs, câbles et fiches endomma-
gés augmentent le risque d’un choc
électrique.
En cas de période assez longue de
non-utilisation, déconnecter l’accu du
chargeur et retirer la fiche de la prise
de courant. Economiser l’énergie aide
à protéger l’environnement.
Lors du nettoyage, retirez la fiche de
la prise de courant. Il y a risque d’élec-
trocution.
Il est interdit de visser ou de riveter
des plaques ou des repères sur le
chargeur. Une isolation endommagée
n’offre aucune protection contre un
choc électrique. Utiliser des autocol-
lants.
Ne chargez que des accus intacts
d’origine Fein conçus pour votre outil
électrique. Lors du chargement
d’accumulateurs d’un type ne conve-
nant pas à l’outil, d’accumulateurs
endommagés, réparés ou modifiés,
d’accumulateurs contrefaits ou
d’autres fabricants, il y a danger
d’incendie et/ou d’explosion.

Instructions d’utilisation.
Branchez le chargeur sur la prise de courant sans que
l’accu ne soit monté. L’affichage LED jaune s’allume et
indique que le chargeur est prêt à être mis en service.
Introduisez l’accu.
La surveillance du processus de charge est signalée par
une lumière verte clignotante.
La fin du processus de charge est indiquée par une lumiè-
re verte permanente.
Le processus de charge rapide démarre automatiquement
dès que la température de l’accu se situe à l’intérieur de
la plage de température de charge de 0 °C à 45 °C.
En cas de décharge extrêmement profonde, le processus
de charge peut démarrer, une fois l’accu connecté, avec
un retard de plusieurs minutes.
Dans le cas d’accumulateurs Lithium-ion, le chargeur
s’arrête automatiquement.
Pour les accumulateurs NiCd/NiMH, la charge de main-
tien est activée. L’indicateur vert reste constamment allu-
mé.
Le fait d’insérer à nouveau l’accu chargé provoque une
surcharge et réduit la durée de vie de l’accu.
Les accumulateurs NiCd/NiMH neufs qui ne sont pas
encore chargés, ou les accumulateurs NiCd/NiMH qui
ont été profondément déchargés et qui doivent être
chargés de nouveau, n’atteignent leur pleine capacité
qu’après trois à cinq cycles de charge et de décharge.
Une diminution rapide de la capacité de l’accu malgré un
chargement correct est un signe de vieillissement de
l’accu.
ALG40 : L’embout (9 26 04 103 01 0) est une pièce de
rechange. Ne montez l’embout qu’avec les vis d’origine
fournies.

Explication de l’affichage LED.
Travaux d’entretien et service après-
vente.
A effectuer une fois par semaine, ou plus souvent en cas
d’utilisation fréquente :
–Veillez à maintenir la propreté des contacts qui se
trouvent sur le socle.
–Ne nettoyez les contacts électriques qu’à sec.
–Veillez à ce qu’aucun copeau métallique ne pénètre
dans le carter du chargeur.
Si le câble de raccordement du chargeur est endommagé,
le faire remplacer par Fein ou un atelier agréé Fein afin
d’éviter des dangers de sécurité.
Garantie.
La garantie du produit est valide conformément à la régle-
mentation légale en vigueur dans le pays où le produit est
mis sur le marché. Outre les obligations de garantie léga-
le, les appareils Fein sont garantis conformément à notre
déclaration de garantie de fabricant.
Il se peut que seule une partie des accessoires décrits ou
représentés dans cette notice d’utilisation soit fournie
avec le chargeur.

les accessoires dans un centre de recyclage respectant les

N’éliminez les accumulateurs que lorsqu’ils sont déchar-
gés.
Si les accumulateurs ne sont pas complètement déchar-
gés, isolez par précaution le connecteur électrique a l’aide
d’un ruban adhésif pour les protéger contre les courts-
circuits.

Norme speciali di sicurezza.
Questo apparecchio può essere utiliz-
zato da bambini a partire da 8 anni e
oltre nonché da persone con capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte
oppure a cui manchi esperienza e
conoscenza, se le stesse sono sorve-
gliate oppure istruite relativamente
all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e che
comprendano i pericoli che ne pos-
sono derivare. I bambini non possono
giocare con l’apparecchio. Pulizia e
manutenzione da parte dell’utente
non devono essere effettuate da bam-
bini senza sorveglianza.
Custodire il caricabatteria al riparo da
pioggia o umidità. L’eventuale infiltra-
zione di acqua in un apparecchio elet-
trico aumenta il rischio d’insorgenza
di scosse elettriche.
Non mettere in funzione il caricabatte-
ria su basi facilmente infiammabili
oppure in ambienti infiammabili. A
causa del riscaldamento del caricabat-
teria durante la fase di ricarica, esiste
pericolo di incendio.
Durante il funzionamento provvedere
per un’aerazione sufficiente. Non met-
tere in funzione il caricabatteria in
armadi chiusi oppure in prossimità di
fonti di calore. Temperature ambien-
tali superiori a +45 °C possono cau-
sare funzionamenti difettosi.
Non caricare batterie non ricaricabili.
In caso contrario esiste il pericolo di
incendio ed esplosione.
Avere cura di mantenere il caricabat-
teria sempre pulito. A causa di sporci-
zia si crea il pericolo di una scossa
elettrica.
Prima di ogni impiego controllare il
caricabatteria, il cavo e la spina. Non
utilizzare il caricabatteria in caso
venissero riscontrati dei danni. Non
aprire mai personalmente il carica-
batteria e farlo riparare esclusiva-
mente dalla Fein oppure da una
officina autorizzata Fein. Caricabatte-
ria, cavi e spine danneggiati aumen-
tano il rischio di una scossa elettrica.
In caso di lungo periodo di tempo di
inutilizzo dell’apparecchio, togliere la
batteria dal caricabatteria e staccare
la spina. Il risparmio di energia è
importante per l’ambiente.
Durante i lavori di pulizia staccare la
spina del caricabatteria dalla presa.
Esiste il pericolo di una scossa elet-
trica.
È vietato avvitare oppure fissare con
rivetti cartelli e targhette sul carica-
batteria. Un isolamento danneggiato
non offre alcuna protezione contro
scosse elettriche. Utilizzare targhette
adesive.
Ricaricare esclusivamente batterie
ricaricabili originali Fein intatte
adatte per l’elettroutensile. In caso di
ricarica di batterie non corrette, dan-
neggiate riparate oppure rigenerate, di
imitazioni e prodotti di terzi, esiste il
pericolo di incendio e/o di esplosione.

Istruzioni per l’uso.
Collegare il caricabatteria alla presa, senza batteria ricari-
cabile inserita. L’indicatore LED giallo si illumina e segnala
la disponibilità al funzionamento.
Inserire la batteria ricaricabile.
Il controllo dell’operazione di ricarica viene segnalata da
una luce lampeggiante verde.
Il termine dell’operazione di ricarica viene indicata tra-
mite luce continua verde.
La ricarica rapida inizia automaticamente non appena la
temperatura della batteria si trova nel campo di tempera-
tura di ricarica da 0 °C a 45 °C.
In caso di estrema condizione di scarica, l’operazione di
ricarica può iniziare con un ritardo di diversi minuti dopo
l’inserimento della batteria.
In caso di batterie ricaricabili agli ioni di litio cariche, il
caricabatteria si spegne automaticamente.
Nelle batterie ricaricabili NiCd/NiMH la carica di com-
pensazione viene attivata. L’indicatore verde è illuminato.
Un inserimento ripetuto della batteria carica provoca un
sovraccarico e pregiudica la durata della batteria stessa.
Batterie ricaricabili NiCd/NiMH nuove non ancora for-
mattate e batterie ricaricabili NiCd/NiMH completamente
scariche, che devono essere formattate di nuovo, rag-
giungono la loro completa capacità solamente dopo
3–5 cicli di ricarica/scarica.
Se nonostante un corretto processo di ricarica la presta-
zione della batteria si riduce dopo poco tempo, significa
che è usurata.
ALG40: L’adattatore (9 26 04 103 01 0) è un ricambio.
Fissare l’adattatore esclusivamente con le viti originali for-
nite in dotazione.
Conferma la conformità del caricabatteria con le direttive della Comunità Europea.
Questa avvertenza mette in guardia dallo sviluppo di una possibile situazione pericolosa
che può comportare il pericolo di incidenti gravi oppure anche mortali.

Significato dell’indicatore LED.
Manutenzione ed Assistenza Clienti.
Effettuare una volta alla settimana, in caso di uso fre-
quente:
–Mantenere puliti i contatti nel piedino di inserimento.
–Pulire i contatti elettrici solamente in modo asciutto.
–Prestare attenzione affinché non penetrino trucioli
metallici nella carcassa del caricabatteria.
Se il cavo di collegamento del caricabatteria è danneg-
giato, lo stesso deve essere sostituito dalla Fein oppure da
un’officina autorizzata Fein per evitare pericoli per la sicu-
rezza.
Responsabilità per vizi e garanzia.
La prestazione di garanzia sul prodotto è valida secondo
la relativa normativa vigente nel Paese in cui avviene
l’immissione sul mercato. Inoltre la Fein riconosce la
garanzia conformemente alla dichiarazione di garanzia
produttore Fein.
Nel volume di fornitura del Vostro caricabatteria può
essere contenuta anche solo una parte degli accessori
descritti o illustrati nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso.
