2 Funktion und Anwendung
Durch Belüftung des Druckluftanschlusses 2
wird der Kolben des Mikro-Parallelgreifers
HGPM-... gegen eine Mechanik gedrückt.
Diese Mechanik überträgt die Bewegung des
Kolbens auf die Greifbacken 6. An den Greif-
backen werden Greiffinger befestigt. Das Öff-
nen und Schließen der Greiffinger klemmt
Nutzlasten an der Außen- oder Innenkontur.
Der Mikro-Parallelgreifer HGPM-... ist einfach-
wirkend und je nach Bauart außengreifend
(bei HGPM-...-EO-...) oder innengreifend (bei
HGPM-...-EZ-...) einsetzbar.
Bei Entlüftung des Greifers sorgt eine Rück-
stellfeder für die Rückführung von Greif-
backen und Kolben in die Ausgangsposition:
– Greiffinger geöffnet: bei HGPM-...-EO-...
– Greiffinger geschlossen: HGPM-...-EZ-...
Bestimmungsgemäß dient der HGPM-... dem
GreifenundHaltenvonNutzlasteninHand-
lingsprozessen.

3 Voraussetzungen für den Produkteinsatz
Hinweis
Durch unsachgemäße Handhabung entstehen Fehlfunktionen.
SStellen Sie sicher, dass die Punkte dieses Kapitels stets eingehalten werden.
Dies macht das Produktverhalten ordnungsgemäß und sicher.
SVergleichen Sie die Grenzwerte in dieser Bedienungsanleitung mit Ihrem
aktuellen Einsatzfall (z.B. Drücke, Kräfte, Momente, Temperaturen).
Nur die Einhaltung der Belastungsgrenzen ermöglicht ein Betreiben des
Produkts gemäß der einschlägigen Sicherheitsrichtlinien.
SSorgen Sie für Druckluft mit ordnungs-
gemäßer Aufbereitung.
SBeachten Sie die Vorschriften für Ihren
Einsatzort, z.B. von Berufsgenossenschaft
oder nationaler Institutionen.
SEntfernen Sie die Verpackungen mit Aus-
nahme der Haftetiketten an den Druck-
luftanschlüssen (Verschmutzungsgefahr).
Die Verpackungen sind vorgesehen für
eine Verwertung auf stofflicher Basis
(Ausnahme: Ölpapier = Restmüll).
SBerücksichtigen Sie die Umweltbedin-
gungen vor Ort.
SBelüften Sie die Anlage insgesamt
langsam. Dazu dient das Sicherheits-
Einschaltventil Typ HEL-... .
SBerücksichtigen Sie die Warnungen und
Hinweise
– am Produkt und
– in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
SVerwenden Sie das Produkt im Originalzustand ohne jegliche eigenmächtige
Veränderung.

4Einbau
Einbau mechanisch
Zur Befestigung der Greiffinger:
SVerwenden Sie möglichst kurze und
leichte Greiffinger.
SDrehen Sie je eine Befestigungsschraube
in die Gewindebohrungen der Greifbacken.
Dabei ist die maximale Einschraubtiefe
einzuhalten. Andernfalls kann die Funk-
tionsfähigkeit beeinträchtigt werden.
Die unterschiedlichen Greifbacken haben folgende Anschlussgewinde:

Zur Montage des HGPM-...:
Hinweis
Hohe Beschleunigungskräfte in Längsrich-
tung des Greifers (z.B.: bei Montage auf
bewegten Teilen wie DGP-...) reduzieren
die Greifkraft.
SStellen Sie sicher, dass die resultieren-
den Nutzlastkräfte innerhalb des redu-
zierten Greifkraftbereichs liegen.

5 Inbetriebnahme
Gesamtanlage
SBelüften Sie Ihre gesamte Anlage
langsam.
Dann treten keine unkontrollierten
Bewegungen auf.
Zur langsamen Einschaltbelüftung dient
das Sicherheits-Einschaltventil Typ HEL-...
oder HEM-... .
Einzelgerät
SAchten Sie auf die zulässigen Werte für (siehe Katalog):
– die maximale Greifkraft in Abhängigkeit des Hebelarms und der
Exzentrizität
– die maximal zulässigen Greifzeiten
– die maximal zulässige Greiffingergewichtskraft.
Warnung
Gliedmaßen können durch bewegte Bau-
teile gequetscht werden.
·Stellen Sie sicher, dass im Greifbereich:
– niemand zwischen die Greiffinger
fasst.
– sich keine Fremdgegenstände
befinden.
SStarten Sie einen Probelauf:
– zuerst mit langsamen Verfahrbewegungen,
– dann unter Einsatzbedingungen.
Dabei muss der HGPM-... die Nutzlast sicher festhalten.
SBeenden Sie den Probedurchlauf.
Danach muss der Greifer entlüftet sein.

6 Wartung und Pflege
SReinigen Sie bei Bedarf den HGPM-.. außen mit einem weichen Lappen.
Zulässiges Reinigungsmedium ist Seifenlauge bis max. + 60 °C.
7 Ausbau und Reparatur
Warnung
Die festgehaltene Nutzlast fällt bei
Druckabfall nach unten.
SStellen Sie sicher, dass der Greifer
beim Entlüften keine Nutzlast
festhält.

2 Function and application
When compressed air is applied to connection
2, the piston of the micro parallel gripper
HGPM-... is pressed against a mechanism.
A mechanism transfers the longitudinal move-
ment of the piston to the gripper jaws 6.
Gripper fingers are fastened to the gripper
jaws. When the jaws open, they can grip work
loads by the inner contour; when the jaws
close, they can grip work loads by the outer
contour.
The micro parallel gripper HGPM-... is single-
acting and depending on the mechanism it
can be used for gripping from the outside or
from the inside.
When the gripper is exhausted, a reset spring
returns the gripper jaws to the starting posi-
tion:
– gripper fingers open: on HGPM-...-EO-...
– gripper fingers closed: on HGPM-...-EZ-...
The HGPM-... is designed for gripping and
holding work loads in handling processes.

3 Conditions of use
Please note
Incorrect handling can lead to malfunctioning.
SObserve the following instructions in order to ensure correct and safe use of
the product.
SCompare the values specified e.g. for pressures, forces, torques and tempera-
tures with your actual application.
SMake sure that there is a supply of
correctly prepared compressed air.
SPlease observe also the relevant technical
regulations, as well as national and local
regulations.
SRemove all transport material such as
protective wax, foils, caps and cartons.
The waste materials can be disposed of in
separate containers for recycling.
STake into acccount the prevailing ambient
conditions.
SPressurize your complete system slowly
(e.g. with a safety sart-up valve type
HEL-...).
SObserve the warnings and instructions
on the product and in these operating
instructions.
SUse the product in its original condition without undertaking any modifications.

Mechanical components
Fastening the gripper fingers
SUse gripping fingers as short and as light
as possible.
SScrew two fastening screws into the
threaded holes in each of the gripping
jaws.
The maximum screw depth must not be
exceeded. Otherwise the function can be
affected.
The different gripping jaws have the following connection threads:

Please note
High acceleration forces in the longitudinal
direction of the gripper (e.g. when fitted on
moving parts such as the DGP-...) reduce
the gripping force.
SMake sure that the resulting work load
forces lie within the reduced gripping
force range.

5 Commissioning
Complete system
SSlowly pressurize your complete system.
This will prevent any uncontrolled move-
ments.
The safety start-up valve type HEL-... or
HEM-... can be used for slow pressuriza-
tion during the starting phase.
Individual unit
SObserve the permitted values for the following (see catalogue):
– the maximum gripper force as a factor of the lever arm and the eccentricity
– the maximum permitted gripping times
– the maximum gripper finger weight force.
Warning
Moving parts can cause injury to hands
and fingers.
STherefore make sure that:
– nobody can place his/her hand
between the gripper fingers
– no objects lie within the range of the
gripper fingers.
SStart a test run
– at first with slow positioning movements
– then under application conditions.
The HGPM-... must hold the work load securely.
SConclude the test run.
The gripper should now be exhausted.

6 Care and maintenance
SIf necessary, clean the exterior of the HGPM-... with a soft cloth.
The permitted cleaning medium is soap suds, max. + 60 °C.
7 Dismantling and repairs
Warning
If there is a drop in pressure, the work
load will suddenly slide down.
SMake sure that the gripper is not
holding a work load when it is
exhausted.

2 Funcionamiento y utilización

HGPM-... es presionada contra un mecanismo.
Un mecanismo transfiere el movimiento longi-
tudinal del émbolo a las mandíbulas de la
pinza 6. Los dedos de la pinzas se fijan a las
mandíbulas de la pinza. Cuando las mandíbu-
las abren, pueden sujetarse piezas por su
contorno interior; cuando cierran, pueden
sujetar la pieza por su contorno exterior.
La micro pinza paralela HGPM-... es de simple
efecto y según del mecanismo puede utili-
zarse para sujetar desde el exterior o desde el
interior.
Cuando la pinza se descarga, un muelle de
reposición devuelve las mandíbulas de la
pinza a su posición original.

EO-...
– dedos de pinzado cerrados: en HGPM-...-
EZ-...
La HGPM-... está diseñada para sujetar y sos-
tener cargas en procesos de manipulación.
