Instructions
Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference,
as it contains important information.
Requires two “AA” batteries (included).
Adult assembly is required.
Tool required for battery replacement:
Phillips screwdriver (not included).
• Make sure the areas where the labels will
be applied are clean and dry. Apply the
labels as shown in the illustration above.
• For best results, do not attempt to apply
a label more than once.

• Place the cars in the starting gate.
• Press down on the back of the starting gate
to hear engine “revving” sounds.
• Press down on starting gate pedal to start
the race and to hear engine “racing” sounds.
• Store the cars in the slots on the base of
the speedway.

For best performance, we recommend
replacing the batteries that came with this
toy with two, new “AA” alkaline batteries.

SHOWN ACTUAL SIZE
• Locate the battery compartment on the
underside of starting gate.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compart-
ment door with a Phillips screwdriver
and remove the door.Throw away the
exhausted batteries.
• Remove the exhausted batteries from the
battery compartment. Properly discard the
used batteries.
• Insert two, new, “AA” (LR6) alkaline
batteries.
Hint: We recommend the use of alkaline
batteries for longest battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door
and tighten the screw with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• When sounds from this toy become faint
or stop, it’s time for an adult to replace
the batteries!

Battery Compartment
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a
chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or
batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated on the battery
compartment door.
• Remove batteries during long periods of
non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries
safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent
type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the
toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.
