In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that
can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of this product safely. Do not dispose of batteries
in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type,
as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are
1.5V x 4
LR6 ("AA")
For best performance, we recommend replacing
the batteries that came with this toy with four, new
LR6 ("AA") alkaline batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door
with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery
compartment door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries and throw them away.
• Insert four new LR6 ("AA") alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for
longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the
screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• When lights from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for
an adult to change the batteries!
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this
product with household waste (2002/96/EC).

• Use the light pen to create designs.
• Turn the dial to choose a line style (solid, dots or dashes).
• Place a stencil on the screen. Trace or "rub" the light pen
on top of the stencil to transfer the design to the screen.
Be sure to set the dial to "solid line" when using stencils.
• Your drawings disappear after a minute or two.
• When you are finished with the toy, turn the dial to the
off position.
Hints:
– Move the pen slowly to make a darker image. Do not
move the pen too quickly or your drawing will be too light.
– Drawings will last longer if you do not expose this toy
to intense heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods
of time.

• Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap
and water solution. Do not immerse.
