1. General
The thermostatic and electronic
socket fusion unit MSE 110 is used
to weld PE, PP and PVDF pipes
and fittings diameter 16 – 110 mm.
Unintended usage must be
considered improper, hence Georg
Fischer declines any responsibility
for incidental malfunctions or
damages.
The welding process consists of
inserting the pipe into the fitting,
both of which are brought to the
correct temperature by a heating
element with bushings, without the
addition of filler material.
2. Preparation
•Before making the joint, it is
necessary to clean both the pipe
and the fitting using soft paper
towelling and alcohol.
•use the appropriate holding
devices (support and table
clamp);
•check the unit for good working
order and verify that there are no
damaged or loose parts;
•assure that the bushings are
properly tightened to the heating
plate and have no macroscopic
scratches.
3. The welding process
To use the thermostatic unit,
connect it to appropriate power
supply, set the heater temperature.
During heating up both LED white
and green are constantly ON. By
reaching the set point (around 260
°C), the green starts flashing.
To use the electronic unit, connect
it to appropriate power supply, set
the heater temperature. During
heating up both LED green and red
are constantly ON. By reaching the
set point (around 260 °C), the red
LED starts flashing. When
temperature has been reached, wait
approx. 10 minutes in order to allow
a proper heat distribution throughout
the unit.
The machine is now ready to use.

1. Generalità
Il polifusore MSE 110, nella
versione termostatica ed elettronica,
viene utilizzato per saldare tubi e
raccordi in PE, PP e PVDF fino ad
un diametro massimo di 110 mm.
Ogni utilizzo diverso è da
considerarsi improprio e pertanto
Georg Fischer Omicron declina ogni
responsabilità da eventuali
malfunzionamenti o danni derivanti.
Il procedimento consiste nel
sovrapporre la parte interna del
raccordo (fitting) all’estremità
esterna del tubo senza l’aggiunta di
materiale d’apporto.
2. Preparazione alla saldatura
Prima di eseguire la saldatura è
necessario procedere ad una pulizia
accurata del tubo e del raccordo
utilizzando carta morbida ed alcool.
Per affrontare le successive fasi di
saldatura in condizioni ottimali, è
necessario osservare le seguenti
precauzioni:
•utilizzare i dispositivi di
bloccaggio (cavalletto o
morsetto) in modo da mantenere
il polifusore in posizione ferma
ed avere la possibilità di operare
con entrambe le mani;
•verificare preventivamente il
perfetto funzionamento
dell’apparecchio e assicurarsi
che non vi siano parti
danneggiate;
•assicurarsi che le bussole siano
accuratamente fissate, tramite le
apposite viti, alla piastra
riscaldante e che non presentino
graffiature macroscopiche.
3. Esecuzione della saldatura
Per un corretto utilizzo
dell'apparecchio procedere come
segue: collegare la spina
all'alimentazione (accensione delle
spie verde e rossa), impostare la
temperatura desiderata (260 °C
circa) tramite l’apposito pomolino di
regolazione ed attendere il
raggiungimento della temperatura
desiderata. Nella versione
elettronica, una volta raggiunta la

Temperaturregelung sind
ausschliesslich zum
Muffenschweissen von
Kunststoffrohren, -Fittingen und -
Armaturen aus PE, PP, PVDF im
Dimensionsbereich von d 16–110
mm vorgesehen. Jeder darüber
hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als
nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für
hieraus resultierende Schäden
haftet der Hersteller nicht; das
Risiko hierfür trägt allein der
Anwender. Beim Heizelement-
Muffenschweissen werden
Rohrende und Fittingmuffe in der
Heizbuchse respektive auf dem
Heizstutzen erwärmt und
überlappend, ohne Verwendung von
Zusatzwerkstoffen, verschweisst.
2. Vorbereitungen
•Reinigen Sie das Rohr und den
Fitting mit weichem Papier und
Alkohol.:
•Verwenden Sie die geeigneten
Haltevorrichtungen
(Bodenständer oder
Tischklemmstück);
•Überprüfen Sie die
Gerätschaften auf
Funktionstüchtigkeit und
Schäden;
•Stellen Sie sicher, daß die
Heizstutzen und – buchsen auf
der Heizplatte fest montiert sind
und keine Kratzer im Bereich der
Schweissflächen aufweisen.
3. Schweissvorgang
Thermostatische Regelung:
Anschluss an die Stromversorgung,
Schweisstemperatur mittels
Einstellknopf (260 °C für PE, PP
und PVDF) am Heizelement
einstellen, die weisse und grüne
LED leuchtet konstant während des
Aufheizens, bei Erreichen der
Solltemperatur, blinkt die grüne
LED.
