using this equipment.

Important Notes
Tool tethers are suitable only for hand
tools weighing the specified weight
rating or less that have manufacturer’s
intended attachment features, such as
Stronghold attachment point products,
rings or holes, that can be properly
secured with the various tether end types.
This product is intended for use
by personnel who are trained
and knowledgeable regarding
working with hand tools at height
and/or near machinery.
Inspect before each use for
damage and proper function:
1. Check all hardware for abrasion,
deformity, cuts and sharp edges.
2. Check for tears, cuts, fraying, abrasion,
discoloration, burns, holes, mold,
unsplicing, pulled or broken stitches,
or other signs of wear or damage.
3. For coil style products for cracks,
slits, stress risers or lack of retraction
memory in coil material.
4. Do not use and always quarantine if
any of the above apply or if damaged
or not functioning correctly.
Tool tethers should only be attached
to anchors (i.e. belts and harnesses)
that have manufacturer’s intended
attachment specifications.
Tool tethers are not intended for use on the
wrist.

moving parts, mechanisms, running
machinery or rotating equipment.
May contain electrically
conductive materials.
Do not alter product in any way
from its original state.
Use only with tools that are
specifically designed for tethering,
or by using appropriate Stronghold
brand attachment products.

Installation
Carabiner Ends
Hook or cinch carabiners as shown.
Ensure carabiners are closed and remain
locked and/or tight throughout use.
Corded Ends
Cinch cord as shown.
Always cinch corded ends, never wrap.
