Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, please
read this manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety regulations outlined below.
Safety instructions
• Use the product only as described in this manual. Do not use this product for anything
other than its intended use as it may lead to personal injury or damage to the product.
• This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• Keep this product out of the reach of the children.
• Caution! Hot surface! Danger of burns! The front metal barrel and burning cham-
ber of the product will become very hot during and after use. Allow the product to
cool completely before touching barrel or burning chamber for cleaning or storing.
• Always ensure the product is properly assembled before use. Follow the instructions in
this manual. Do not use a damaged product.
• Do not attempt to burn anything other than small wood chips, wood sawdust, dried
herbs, cooking spices, or tea leaves in the burning chamber.
• Do not use the product near explosive, flammable materials or any other heating
sources.
• Do not place any part of the product in a gas, electric or microwave oven or on a hot
gas or electric burner.
•
WARNING: ALWAYS switch OFF when not use. Do not leave the product unattended
when in use.
• Keep using this product clear of walls, curtains and other heat or steam sensitive
materials.
• Leave at least 30 cm spacing around the food and the product for ventilation purpose
during use.
• Use the product in a well-ventilated area, the burning of wood chips/dust, dried herbs,
cooking spices, and/or tea leaves may result in the emission of combustion by-products
which is not good to health for long period of exposure.
• Always empty ash when igniting material into a non-flammable receptacle.
• Exercise extreme care when igniting the wood chips in the burn chamber of the prod-
uct; improper ignition of flammable materials may result in explosion or fire hazard.
Do not overturn the product during operation.
• Always use a match or lighter to ignite the materials in the burning chamber of the
product. DO NOT use a kitchen torch or other heat device as the excessive heat may
damage the product.
• Do not point the product at any person or flammable object.
• Do not block the exit or bend the hose when in use to avoid damage to the hose.
•
CAUTION! Never switch ON the product without the metal barrel or mesh filter put in
place properly.

• Never disassembly of any parts of the product other than the front barrel for cleaning
purpose.
• Avoid using the product in areas where smoke may activate smoke alarms, smoke
detector or fire suppression systems.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids for cleaning as this may damage
the product. No parts are dishwasher safe.
• Protect the charging cable(included) against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp
edges, do not squeeze or bend it, and keep it away from hot surfaces.
• Only use the provided charging cable or the cables recommended by the manufacturer
to charge this appliance. See technical specification section.
• If the charging cable is damaged, it must be scrapped.
Battery Safety Instructions
• Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries
or appliance to extreme temperatures such as
from direct sunlight or fire. Do not place the
product on a heating source.
• The batteries must be removed from the appli-
ance before it is scrapped. Do not remove the
build-in battery yourself! Bring the appliance
to a qualified professional.
• The batteries has to be disposed of safely.
• Remove the charging cable from the appliance
as soon as Li-ion battery is fully charged. Do
not leave the appliance plugged in for an ex-
tended amount of time.
• Only charge this appliance with extra low volt-
age, corresponding to the marking on the ap-
pliance.
• Only use the supplied charging cable and pow-
er brick to recharge the battery.
• Recharge the build-in Li-ion battery within 6
months again to protect the life cycle of battery
when you are not going to be using the product
for a long period of time.
Intended use
• The appliance is intended for indoor and
household use.
• The appliance is designed solely for infusing
smoke to preparred dishes, such as; meat,
vegetables, fish, sauces, drinks, etc. Any other
use may lead to damage of the appliance or
personal injury.
• Operating the appliance for any other purpose
shall be deemed a misuse of the device. The
user shall be solely liable for improper use of
the device.
Preparing the appliance for use
• Remove all packaging and check the machine
for completeness and transport damages. In
case of damage, contact supplier immediately.
DO NOT use the product. (See ==> Warranty).
• Charge the appliance until build-in lithium bat-
tery is fully charged.
• Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation in the
surroundings.
• Install the burning chamber, soft extension
hose and front barrel before use.

Instructions for use
• Use the tweezer(included) to put into or take
out mesh filter(3pcs included) from the burn-
ing chamber. The bulge of the mesh filter
should be upwards.
• Put wood chips (not included) into the burn-
ing chamber. Note: Do not overfill the burning
chamber. The wood chips should just cover the
inside mesh filter area with a thin layer.
• Press On/Speed/Off button once to activate
smoking mode. Red is flashing.
• Use a lighter or chefs torch (not included) to
apply a small flame to the top surface of the
wood chips. Move the flame around so as to
ignite the entire exposed surface. For best
results, make sure the burning area is evenly
distributed or centered.
Note: Dry wood chips are available in grocery
stores and hardware stores.
WARNING! DO NOT use a kitchen torch or bu-
tane torch style lighter.
• Once the smoke comes out of the hose, place
the hose near the food and cover with plastic
or something similar. This is to prevent that
the smoke escapes. For the best result use the
professional dome.
• Keep adding smoke to the container or dome
untill a dense smoke is created.
• Remove the hose but keep the smoke trapped
for a couple more minutes.
• The burning chamber is hot after use, allow
the smoking gun to cool down before cleaning
and storage.
NOTE: The smoking gun will turn off automati-
cally after 5 minutes when no buttons have been
pushed.
WARNING: The burning chamber and the barrel
are very hot during and after use. Do not touch!
