1. PRECAUZIONI E MISURE DI SICUREZZA
ATTENZIONE
Per la sicurezza dell'operatore e per evitare di danneggiare lo strumento, seguire le
procedure descritte nel presente manuale e leggere con particolare attenzione tutte le
note precedute da questo simbolo.
Utilizzare la Black Box a scopo di test, seguendo il manuale di istruzioni e il manuale del FULLTEST
3.
Solo tecnici specializzati, che conoscono i possibili rischi connessi alle tensioni pericolose sono
autorizzati ad operare con la Black Box.
La Black Box può essere utilizzato solo all'interno degli intervalli operativi come specificato in
questo manuale di istruzioni.
E' vietato toccare la Black Box durante la prova.
Nel presente manuale o sulla Black Box sono utilizzati i seguenti simboli:
Pericolo potenziale, attenersi alle istruzioni del manuale.

Prestare la massima attenzione.
Attenzione, tensione pericolosa. Rischio di shock elettrici.
Simbolo che contrassegna le apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (Direttiva WEEE).

2. ISTRUZIONI PRELIMINARI
ATTENZIONE
La Black Box è destinato ad essere utilizzata in combinazione con il FULLTEST3 per la
verifica del tester
Il manuale d'uso contiene le informazioni necessarie per un uso e una manutenzione sicura dello
strumento. Prima di utilizzare lo strumento, leggere con estrema attenzione il manuale d'uso e
attenersi scrupolosamente alle istruzioni indicate in ciascuna sezione.
La mancata osservazione delle avvertenze e/o istruzioni contenute nel manuale può danneggiare
lo strumento o essere fonte di pericolo per l'operatore.
Al fine di evitare shock elettrici, attenersi scrupolosamente alle normative di sicurezza e nazionali
applicabili in materia di alta tensione quando si lavora con tensioni superiori a 60 V DC o 50 V (25
V) RMS AC. Il valore tra parentesi è valido in campi di applicazione speciali (ad esempio in campo
medico).
La invitiamo a seguire le normali regole di sicurezza orientate a proteggerla contro correnti
pericolose e a proteggere lo strumento da uso improprio.
Questo strumento è stato progettato per un utilizzo in un ambiente con livello di inquinamento 2.
Non effettuare misure su circuiti che superino il limite di tensione specificato.
Proteggere lo strumento contro un utilizzo errato. Solo gli accessori forniti a corredo dello
strumento garantiscono gli standard di sicurezza. Essi devono essere in buone condizioni e
sostituiti, se necessario, con modelli identici.
Non effettuare misure in condizioni ambientali al di fuori delle limitazioni indicate nel presente
manuale.
Prima di collegare i terminali di misura al circuito in esame, controllare che sia selezionata la
funzione corretta.
Utilizzare lo strumento esclusivamente in ambienti asciutti e puliti. Lo sporco e l'umidità riducono la
resistenza di isolamento e ciò potrebbe comportare rischio di shock elettrici, in particolare in
presenza di alta tensione.
Non utilizzare mai lo strumento in caso di maltempo, ad esempio in presenza di rugiada o in caso
di pioggia. Non utilizzare lo strumento in caso di condensa dovuta a sbalzi di temperatura.
Modificando lo strumento, la sicurezza operativa non è più garantita.
3. PREPARAZIONE ALL'UTILIZZO
3.1.CONTROLLI INIZIALI
Lo strumento, prima di essere spedito, è stato controllato dal punto di vista elettrico e meccanico. Sono
state prese tutte le precauzioni possibili affinché lo strumento potesse essere consegnato senza danni.
Tuttavia si consiglia, di controllarlo sommariamente per accertare eventuali danni subiti durante il
trasporto. Se si dovessero riscontrare anomalie contattare immediatamente la società HT Italia o il
rivenditore.
Si consiglia inoltre di controllare che l'imballaggio contenga tutti gli accessori standard indicati nella
packing list allegata.
Qualora fosse necessario restituire lo strumento, si prega di seguire le istruzioni riportate al paragrafo
“TRASPORTO E IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
3.2.TARATURA
Lo strumento rispecchia le caratteristiche tecniche riportate nel presente manuale. Le sue prestazioni
sono garantite per un anno dalla data di acquisto. Si consiglia di ricalibrare lo strumento una volta
all'anno.

3.3.TRASPORTO E IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
Conservare l'imballo originale per un eventuale trasporto successivo, ad es. per la ricalibrazione.
Eventuali danni subiti dallo strumento a causa di un imballo non adeguato non saranno coperti dalla
garanzia.
Conservare lo strumento in ambienti asciutti e riparati. Se lo strumento è trasportato a temperature
estreme, è necessario attendere almeno 2 ore perché lo strumento torni alle normali condizioni di
funzionamento.

4.2.VERIFICA DEL CORRETTO FUNZIONAMENTO DEL FULLTEST3
ATTENZIONE
Per tutte le impostazioni di misura descritte sotto, fare riferimento al manuale
d’uso del FULLTEST3
Funzione RIGIDITA’
-Selezionare la funzione RIGIDITA’ sul FULLTEST3
-Impostare MANUALE come Modo
-Impostare 5000 V come U Test Nom
-Impostare 60 mA come Limite
-Impostare Iapp come Char
-Connettere il FULLTEST3 alle boccole di ingresso rosse COM –DIEL@5000V della Black Box
-Premere il tasto START e verificare che il valore di corrente sia compreso tra 46 –54 mA
ATTENZIONE
USO INTERMITTENTE
Non applicare la tensione di test di 5000 V ai terminali in modo continuativo. Rispettare
il rapporto 10 s di utilizzo / 60 s di pausa!
Funzione M
-Selezionare la funzione M del FULLTEST3
-Impostare AUTO come Modo
-Impostare 1000 V come Um Nom
-Impostare 0.90 M come Limite
-Connettere il FULLTEST3 alle boccole di ingresso nere COM –RINS@1000V della Black Box
-Premere il tasto START e verificare che il valore di resistenza sia compreso tra 0.94 –1.06 M
Funzione RPE
-Selezionare la funzione RPE-2W del FULLTEST3
-Selezionare 25A come Im Nom
-Selezionare 0.06 come Limite (STANDARD)
-Selezionare TIMER 00:02 sec come MODE
-Calibrare i cavi di misura
-Connettere il FULLTEST3 alle boccole di ingresso nere COM –RPE@25A della Black Box
-Premere il tasto START e verificare che il valore di resistenza sia compreso tra 0.045 –0.055

5. MANUTENZIONE
Se si utilizza lo strumento secondo le istruzioni contenute nel presente manuale non si rende
necessario alcun intervento di manutenzione particolare. Tuttavia, nel caso in cui dovessero verificarsi
degli errori durante il normale funzionamento, il nostro servizio postvendita provvederà a riparare
prontamente lo strumento.

7. ASSISTENZA
7.1.CONDIZIONI DI GARANZIA
Questo strumento è garantito contro ogni difetto di materiale e fabbricazione, in conformità con le
condizioni generali di vendita. Durante il periodo di garanzia il costruttore si riserva il diritto di riparare
ovvero sostituire il prodotto.
Qualora lo strumento debba essere restituito al servizio post-vendita o ad un rivenditore, il trasporto è a
carico del Cliente. La spedizione dovrà, in ogni caso, essere preventivamente concordata. Allegata alla
spedizione deve essere sempre inserita una nota esplicativa circa le motivazioni dell'invio dello
strumento. Per la spedizione utilizzare solo l'imballaggio originale. Ogni danno causato dall'utilizzo di
imballaggi non originali verrà addebitato al Cliente.
Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per danni causati a persone o oggetti.
Accessori (non coperti da garanzia)
La garanzia non è applicata nei seguenti casi:
Riparazioni che si rendono necessarie a causa di un errato utilizzo dello strumento (compreso
l'adattamento ad applicazioni particolari non previste nel presente manuale) o del suo utilizzo con
apparecchiature non compatibili.
Riparazioni che si rendono necessarie a causa di un imballaggio non adeguato.
Riparazioni che si rendono necessarie a causa di interventi eseguiti da personale non autorizzato.
Modifiche apportate allo strumento senza esplicita autorizzazione del costruttore.
Il contenuto del presente manuale non può essere riprodotto in alcuna forma senza l'autorizzazione
del costruttore.
I nostri prodotti sono brevettati e i marchi depositati. Il costruttore si riserva il diritto di
apportare modifiche alle specifiche ed ai prezzi se ciò è dovuto a miglioramenti tecnologici.
7.2.SERVIZIO POST-VENDITA
Se lo strumento non funziona correttamente, prima di contattare il Servizio di Assistenza, controllare lo
stato della batteria e dei cavi e sostituirli se necessario. Se lo strumento continua a manifestare
malfunzionamenti controllare se la procedura di utilizzo dello stesso è conforme a quanto indicato nel
presente manuale.
Qualora lo strumento debba essere restituito al servizio post-vendita o ad un rivenditore, il trasporto è a
carico del Cliente. La spedizione dovrà, in ogni caso, essere preventivamente concordata. Allegata alla

1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES
CAUTION
For your own safety and to avoid damaging the instrument follow the procedures
described in this instruction manual and read carefully all notes marked with this symbol.
Use the Black Box for test purpose only according to this instruction manual and the instruction
manual of the FULLTEST 3!
Only skilled technicians, who know the possible risks involved to the dangerous voltages are
allowed to operate the Black Box.
The Black Box may only be used within the operating ranges as specified in this instruction
manual.
It is prohibited to touch the Black Box during the test.
The following symbols are used in this instruction manual or on the Black Box:
Warning of a potential danger, comply with instruction manual.

Reference, please pay utmost attention.
Caution, dangerous voltage. Danger of electrical shock.
Symbol for marking of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive).
Conformity symbol, the instrument complies with the valid directives. It complies with the

2. PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
The Black Box is intended to be used in combination with Machinery Tester FULLTEST
3 for verification of the tester
The instruction manual contains information and references, necessary for safe operation and
maintenance of the instrument. Prior to using the instrument, the user is kindly requested to
thoroughly read the instruction manual and comply with it in all sections.
Failure to read the instruction manual or to comply with the warnings and references contained
herein can result in serious bodily injury or instrument damage.
In order to avoid electrical shock, the valid safety and national regulations regarding excessive
contact voltages must receive utmost attention when working with voltages exceeding 60 V DC or
50 V (25 V) RMS AC. The value in brackets is valid for limited ranges (as for example medicine).
The operator is recommended to respect the usual safety regulations aimed at protecting against
dangerous currents and protecting the instrument against improper use.
This instrument has been designed for use in environments of pollution degree 2.
Do not effect measurements on circuit exceeding the specified voltage limits.
Only the original test leads supplied along with the instrument guarantee compliance with the
safety standards in force. They must be in good conditions and, if necessary, replaced with
identical ones.
Do not take measurements under environmental conditions exceeding the limits indicated in this
manual.
Before connecting the test probes to the installation make sure that the right function is selected.
The instrument may only be used in dry and clean environments. Dirt and humidity reduce
insulation resistance and may lead to electrical shocks, in particular for high voltages.
Never use the instrument in precipitation such as dew or rain. In case of condensation due to
temperature jumps, the instrument may not be used.
When modifying the instrument, the operational safety is no longer ensured.
3. PREPARATION FOR USE
3.1.PRELIMINARY CHECKS
This instrument was checked both mechanically and electrically prior to shipment. All possible cares and
precautions were taken to let you receive the instrument under perfect conditions. Notwithstanding we
suggest you to check it rapidly (possible damages may have occurred during transport –if so please
contact the local distributor from whom you purchased the item).
Make sure all standard accessories according to Packing List are included.
Should you have to return back the instrument for any reason please follow the instructions mentioned
in paragraph “TRANSPORT AND STORAGE”
3.2.CALIBRATION
The instrument complies with the technical specifications contained in this manual and such a
compliance is guaranteed for 1 year. Annual recalibration is recommended.
3.3.TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Please keep the original packaging for potential later transport, e.g. for calibration. Any transport
damage due to faulty packaging will be excluded from warranty claims.
Instruments must be stored in dry and closed areas. In case of an instrument being transported in
extreme temperatures, a recovery time of minimum 2 hours is required prior to instrument operation.

4.2.VERIFY PROPER FUNCTIONING OF FULLTEST3
CAUTION
For all measurement settings described below, refer to the User Manual of
FULLTEST3
DIELECTRIC function
-Select DIELECTRIC function of the FULLTEST3
-Set MANUAL as Mode
-Set 5000 V as U Test Nom
-Set 60 mA as Limit
-Set Iapp as Char
-Connect the FULLTEST3 to the red inputs COM –DIEL@5000V of Black Box
-Push START button and check that the current value is between 46 –54 mA
CAUTION
INTERMITTENT USE
Do not apply the test voltage of 5000 V to DIELECTRIC test terminals continuously.
Respect the ratio 10 s in use / 60 s pause!
M function
-Select M function of the FULLTEST3
-Set AUTO as Mode
-Set 1000 V as Um Nom
-Set 0.90 M as Limit
-Connect the FULLTEST3 to the black inputs COM –RINS@1000V of Black Box
-Push START button and check that the resistance value is between 0.94 –1.06 M
RPE function
-Select RPE-2W function of the FULLTEST3
-Set 25A as Im Nom
-Set 0.06 as Limit (STANDARD)

-Calibrate measure cables

5. MAINTENANCE
When using the instrument in compliance with the instruction manual, no special maintenance is
required. However, should functional errors occur during normal operation, our after sales service will
repair your instrument without delay.

7. SERVICE
7.1.WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This instrument is guaranteed against material or production defects, in accordance with our general
sales conditions. During the warranty period the manufacturer reserves the right to decide either to
repair or replace the product.
Should you need for any reason to return back the instrument for repair or replacement take prior
agreements with the local distributor from whom you bought it. Do not forget to enclose a report
describing the reasons for returning (detected fault). Use only original packaging. Any damage occurred
in transit due to non original packaging will be charged anyhow to the customer.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damage to persons or things.
Accessories (not covered by warranty).
The warranty does not apply to:
Repairs made necessary by improper use (including adaptation to particular applications not
foreseen in the instructions manual) or improper combination with incompatible accessories or
equipment.
Repairs made necessary by improper shipping material causing damages in transit.
Repairs made necessary by previous attempts for repair carried out by non skilled or unauthorized
personnel.
Instruments for whatever reason modified by the customer himself without explicit authorization of
our Technical Dept.
The contents of this manual may not be reproduced in any form whatsoever without the
manufacturer’s authorization.
Our products are patented and our logotypes registered. We reserve the right to modify
specifications and prices in view of technological improvements or developments which might
be necessary.
7.2.AFTER-SALE SERVICE
Shouldn’t the instrument work properly, before contacting your distributor make sure that batteries are
correctly installed and working, check the test leads and replace them if necessary. Make sure that your
operating procedure corresponds to the one described in this manual.
