INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF ASHTON WHITE BIRCH 24”, 30” AND 36” LOG SETS.

GENERAL INFORMATION
THE FIREPLACE MUST BE OFF AND COLD BEFORE
BEGINNING.
READ ALL OF THE STEPS BEFORE STARTING THE
INSTALLATION.

Installation and service must be performed by a quali-
fied installer, service agency or the gas supplier.
Any safety screen, guard, or barrier removed for ser-
vicing an appliance must be replaced prior to operat-
ing the heater. The fireplace screen or guard designed
for this appliance must be installed prior to operation.
IMPORTANT: Read the owner’s manual carefully and
completely before trying to assemble, operate or ser-
vice this fireplace. Improper use of this fireplace can
cause serious injury or death from burns, fire, explo-
sion, electrical shock and carbon monoxide poisoning.
THESE LOG PLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS ARE A SUP-
PLEMENT TO THE LOG BURNER INSTRUCTIONS. LOG
BURNER INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE READ AND FOL-
LOWED TO THEIR ENTIRETY TO ASSURE SAFE AND
PROPER INSTALLATION AND OPERATION. THE LOG
BURNER INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED SEPARATELY
INSIDE THE CARTONED LOG BURNER ASSEMBLY.

If your gas log burner is not listed above, please
refer to your owners manual or contact IHP Tech Sup-
port/Customer Service for further assistance.
Log sets shall not be used with any other manufactur-
ers log burners.
1. Remove the entire Log Set provided and check for
damage. If damaged, STOP!!! Contact dealer or IHP.
2. If you currently have a log set installed: Remove
the entire Log Set that is currently installed on your
Gas Log Burner and discard entire set.
3. Follow the steps found beginning on the next page
for installation of your new complete Log Set.
This is a complete Log Set and shall not be used oth-
erwise. This log set shall not be used for replacement
of single logs.
It is very important to install these logs exactly as
instructed. DO NOT MODIFY LOGS.
Failure to position the parts in accordance with these
instructions or failure to use only parts specifically
approved with this appliance may result in property
damage or personal injury.
CAUTION: Burn hazard! Logs will remain hot after
use. If you need to reposition any log to maintain the
proper layout, use heat resistant gloves or allow logs
adequate time to cool before handling.

1. Place rear log on rear horizontal grate bars as shown
below.
2. Place front log as far forward as possible. It should con-
tact front grate fingers as shown below.
3. Place the 3 middle logs as shown below.
4. Place the 2 top logs as shown below.
