KWS 2200 weighing scale Operation Manual
Thank you for purchasing the KWS 2200 weighting scale. Please read all operating instructions carefully
before use and keep the following points in mind:
* Avoid lengthy exposure to extreme heat or cold, your scale works best when operated at normal room
temperature. Always allow the scale to acclimate to a normal room temperature before use
* Allow sufficient warm up time. Turn the scale on and wait for a few minutes if possible, to give the internal
components a chance to stabilize before weighing.
* These electronic scales are precision instruments. Do not operate near an in-use cell phone, radio, computer
or other electronic device. These devices emit RF and can cause unstable scale readings. If your scale ever
performs poorly, try moving the scale to a different room or location.
* Avoid using in condition of heavy vibration and airflow.
* Read the weight reading in short time after loading. The output signature of load cell and electronic circuit
may be little influenced after weighing for a long time.

2. Faceplate
Meaning of symbol on faceplate:
2.1 lights up when scale is stable
2.2 lights up when scale is at zero point and the gross weight is 0
2.3 NET lights up when net weight is displayed, and the tare weight is not 0
2.4 TOTAL lights up when display data is total times or total of weight, pieces or percentage
2.5 lb lights up when measure unit is lb or lb:oz
2.6 oz lights up when measure unit is oz or lb:oz
2.7 kg lights up when measure unit is kg
2.8 %lights up when in percentage weighing mode, measure unit is %
2.9Pcs lights up when in counting mode, measure unit is pieces
2.11 PEAK lights up when PEAK-HOLD is active
2.12 HOLDlights up when HOLD mode is active
2.13 HI lights up when data compare is activated and current data (weight, pieces or percent) is over
the upper setting limitation.

4. Switch between operation mode:
Long press FUNC key, then use to choose and confirm to switch into weighing mode,
counting mode or percentage mode

5. Normal Weighing mode
5.1 Power on scale: when scale is off, short press ON/OFF key to turn on;
Power off scale: when scale is on, long press ON/OFF key to turn off the scale.
5.2 Switch units:
Short press UNIT key
5.3 ZERO:
The ZERO key is used to return the scale to zero. The scale will display and error message when the
scale is beyond zero range. When using a tare, the ZERO key is inactive.
5.4 TARE:
Place the item to tare on the platter and press the TARE key, the indicator will show zero, the NET
annunciator will be lighted. Please refer the ZERO and TARE limitations in 4.9 sections.
5.5 Preset tare weight: long press PRESET key, Pr.Tare will show, and the TARE annunciator flashes, it
means it is in preset TARE weight mode, use to input tare weight.
There’s no limitation to preset tare weight, but must be greater than zero. Once you complete the setting
of the tare weight, the “NET” annunciator will be lighted.
Note: you can only store one tare weight; the new tare weight will automatically replace the old one
5.6 Clear tare weight: remove all weight from the scale and short press TARE key.
