Assembly Instructions
Media Wall w/End Base
Tools Required
• Box Cutter/Utility Knife
• Cordless Drill w/extension & #2 Phillips head bit drive
• M4 & M5 Allen wrench drive (optional, supplied w/base)
• 1/16” Allen wrench drive
• Bubble Level
• String line

1 - 33 H-Frame dual (28F33HW2C*P) (tray is pre-attached)
2 - crossrails (comes with H-Frame above)
1 - Worksurface (round, half round, half ellipse)
1 - Plywood shelf (28F1160SHLD2)
1 - Canopy (28F6052CASE**)
1 - Static Leg set (2 legs) (28F113018BEBFP)
32 - M6 X 12 Button Head Machine screws
8 - M6 X 12 Flat Head Machine screws
36 - Flat Head Philips #10-32 X 3/4” machine screws
32 - Pan Head Phillips #10 X 3/4” wood screws
Installation
Note: Bases installed 1st, trays 2nd, fixed screens 3rd and
tops/worksurface screens 4th.
1. Using a knife open box removing all components carefully
and place aside. See components in Figure A.
2. Thread glides into bottom of static legs as shown in Figure
B top right corner.
3. It is important to connect all bench bases to end units
using h-frames packed with end units. See respective
end unit AI for more information. Slide H-frame and
crossrail, over u-brackets on the inside of static legs and
push together. See Figure B. Note: threaded 8 holes on
face of H-frame will slide underneath static legs plates.
Attach using M4 Allen wrench key/drive and flat head
screws on face of tubes/button head screws on bottom of
tube. See Figure B.
4. Slide flat plates into bottom routes of canopy orienting
holes with respect to plates holes. Use a pen if needed to
center plate hole threads with canopy holes. See Figure C.
5. Lay canopy on a fixed non-marring surface, leaving base
attachment area of canopy hanging off surface as shown in
Figure D. Use drill w/Phillips bit, and provided #10-32 X
3/4” machine screws to thread into flat plates inside canopy
securing base to canopy.

5. See Figure E. Slide end base parts together through u-
brackets and attach using drill/Phillips bit and fasteners
supplied in end base hardware box.
6. Once base is secured, grab hold of canopy and base as
shown in Figure F. Note: This is to properly ensure the
screws don’t pull out of canopy. Lift assembly onto
glides setting down carefully. See upper right hand cor-
ner in Figure E for step 6 completion.
7. Attach control box packed in end base using (2) screws
packed with hardware box also in end base box. Refer to
Bench Base AI.
8. Check vertical alignment of canopy from right side. If can-
opy is leaning, loosen machine screws on correct side with
Phillips bit. If canopy is leaning towards base, loosen set
screws. If canopy is leaning away from base, tighten set
screws. When desired alignment is achieved, carefully
tighten machine screws back into threaded flat plate.
9. Lay plywood shelf on top of static legs and push flush to
back edge of perpendicular flat bracket. Center shelf left to
right. Attach using drill/Phillips bit and #10 X 5/8” pan
head wood screws underneath static leg plates. Note: radi-
us edges on plywood shelf to set away from canopy. See
Figure G, top right picture for plywood shelf orienta-
tion.
10. Lay worksurface on end base. Attach using drill/Philips bit
and worksurface screws packed with end base. See Figure
H for dimensional positioning.
11. Check bases are level by running a string along the base
legs to the end of attached bases. Thread glides according
to align bases with each other.

12. Using bubble level, place on top of plywood shelf on both
sides to check base is level to floor. If either side isn’t lev-
el, adjust glides accordingly to help with alignment of base
and vertical alignment of canopy.
13. If mounting a tv, locate desired position of TV using a
tape measure and tv mount. Refer to TV mount assem-
bly instructions for attaching mount to canopy. Note:
measure screws to be sure they don’t poke out through
the back of the canopy. See Figure H for centered tv.
No bigger than a 60” TV to be mounted on the canopy.
Total weight not to exceed 40lbs. No tilt/articulating/full
-motion tv mounts to be mounted on canopy, ONLY
FIXED TV MOUNTS ALLOWED. Screw length not to
exceed 5/8” projection from back of tv mount.
14. Base MUST be attached to a bench base.
