NOTICE: Read this entire manual thoroughly to prevent personal injury and
property damage during installation and use of this product.
NOTICE: Turn OFF the water supply to the lter head, and remove the lter
cartridge if it will be unaended for an extended period of time (approximately 4
weeks or more). Store the lter cartridge in a sealed bag in the refrigerator to
maximize the remaining lter capacity.
Contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this ltration system may
not be present in your water. Refer to the Performance Data Sheet (included) for
contaminants and reduction performance.
System is not intended to convert wastewater or raw sewage into drinking water.
Flush the lter system thoroughly after prolonged periods of nonuse. Allow the
water to ow for 5 or 6 minutes before use.

performance claims as certied and substantiated by test data.
The compounds certied under NSF/ANSI 401 have been deemed as emerging
contaminants.
Filter Cartridge Maintenance
Replace the lter cartridges every 6 months, when the capacity has been exceeded, or
when a noticeable decrease in water ow is observed.

This system contains a Performance Indicator Device (PID) that monitors the life of
the lter cartridges. The lter's life runs out when it reaches its maximum lifespan or
has exceeded its capacity.

The PID features colored LED lights on the front panel that correspond to each lter.
•Yellow = 10% lter life remaining
•Red = 5% lter life remaining
Filter cartridge replacement will not require that the tubing is disconnected. If it is
necessary to disconnect the tubing, follow this procedure:
Turn OFF the cold water supply.
Turn ON the faucet to relieve pressure and drain water from the line.
Firmly press in the collar around the ing while using your hand to pull the
tubing free.
Inspect the tubing for damage or crimping.

1. Prepare the Cartridges
O-Rings
Cap
Lift up the ltration system access panel and tilt forward to remove.
Remove and discard the cap from the lter cartridge.
Inspect the lter cartridge for damage.
Verify that the three O-rings are present and positioned correctly in the grooves.
Repeat for the remaining lter cartridges.

2. Install the Cartridges

New Cartridge Conditioning
NOTE: The lter cartridges require conditioning prior to use to remove air and
carbon particles. The lter cartridges will be arranged dierently for cartridge
conditioning than when the cartridges are in use.
NOTE: The lter cartridges will only engage into the lter head one way. Do not
force the components.
Install the lter cartridges in the "New Cartridge Conditioning" arrangement.
Align the lter cartridge with the label to the left.
Press upward so the lter cartridge key engages into the lter head.
Rotate the lter cartridge counterclockwise 90° until it stops and is securely
engaged into the lter head.
Repeat for the remaining lter cartridges.

3. Condition the Cartridges
Check all connections for leaks.
Run water through the faucet for 10 minutes to remove any air and carbon
particles from the system.
Leave the faucet partially open to allow excess water to ow during cartridge
removal.
NOTE: During cartridge removal, dripping or spray may occur as pressure is
released from the system.
Place a towel under the lter heads to catch any dripping water.
Remove the cartridge on the left rst, then remove the middle cartridge. Do not
remove the cartridge on the right.

4. Install the Cartridges for Use

Reinstall the lter cartridges in the "Cartridges In Use" arrangement, as shown.
Slide the access panel into the three notches at the boom of the ltration unit.
Push the access panel forward to reinstall it to the ltration system.

System Setup
Reset the Filter Cycle
Press and hold the buon for each corresponding lter for 3 seconds to initiate the
new lter cycle.
The lter cycle is reset when the LED light turns green.
Leak Detection
NOTE: The ltration system comes equipped with a leak detection alarm.
NOTE: The leak detection alarm can be disabled for 5 minute intervals. The water
must be cleaned from under the ltration system in order for the alarm not to sound
again.
To disable the alarm, press and hold the top and middle buon simultaneously
for 5 seconds.
KOHLER Konnect
Refer to the Quick Reference Guide provided with the ltration system to use the
KOHLER Konnect features.

This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. For warranty service, contact your

rings for damage or debris, and

Reinstall the lter cartridge, turn on
the water supply, and check for
water leakage.
2. Water leaks at
a tubing
connection.
A. Tubing is not cut
square, or is
damaged or
crimped.
A. Turn o the water supply, and
relieve water pressure. Press in the
collar around the ing at the leak,
and pull the tubing to remove. Use a
sharp utility knife to cut 1/2" (13
mm) o the end of the tubing.
Reinsert the tubing into the ing.
Turn on the water supply and check
for leakage.
3. Water leaks at
a threaded
connection.
A. The connection
is damaged or
dirty.
A. Turn o the water supply, and
relieve water pressure. Disconnect
the ing, and inspect the seal for
damage or debris. Remove any
debris or replace the damaged
ing. Securely reconnect the ing,
but do not overtighten. Turn on the
water supply and check for leakage.

Entretien des cartouches de filtre
Remplacer les cartouches de ltre tous les 6 mois, lorsque la capacité a été dépassée,
ou lorsque l'on observe une réduction perceptible dans le débit d'eau.
Ce système comprend un dispositif d’indication de la performance (PID) qui surveille
la durée de vie des cartouches de ltre. La durée de vie du ltre arrive à sa n lorsque
celui-ci aeint sa durabilité ou a dépassé sa capacité.

Il ne sera pas nécessaire de déconnecter la tubulure pour remplacer la cartouche du
ltre. Suivre la procédure ci-dessous s’il est nécessaire de déconnecter la tubulure :
Couper l'alimentation en eau froide.
Ouvrir le robinet pour alléger la pression et vider l’eau de la conduite.
Enfoncer fermement le collier autour du raccord tout en utilisant la main pour
libérer la tubulure.
Inspecter la tubulure pour y rechercher des dommages ou des pincements
éventuels.

1. Préparer les cartouches

pour le retirer.
Retirer et jeter le capuchon de la cartouche du ltre.
Inspecter la cartouche du ltre pour y déceler des dommages éventuels.
Vérier que les joints toriques sont présents et qu'ils sont positionnés
correctement dans la rainure.
Répéter pour les autres cartouches de ltre.

Installer les cartouches de ltre selon la disposition « Conditionnement des
cartouches ».
Aligner la cartouche de ltre avec l’étiquee à gauche.
Appuyer vers le haut de manière à ce que la clavee de cartouche de ltre soit
engagée dans la tête du ltre.
Tourner la cartouche du ltre de 90 degrés dans le sens antihoraire, jusqu'à ce
qu'elle s'arrête et soit engagée en toute sécurité dans la tête du ltre.
Répéter pour les autres cartouches de ltre.
