damage or wear.
If needed, clean the patient lift with warm water or ethanol. Warning! Do not use chemicals containing phenol
or chlorine, since the aluminium parts may be damaged.

2. Visually inspect the base for middlebeam scratches or gauges, external damage or wear to the legs.

2. Loosen and remove screws.
3. Remove and clean the castor
wheels. Replace and tighten M10
locking nut inside the castor housing.
Re-assemble in reverse order.
4. If wheels are worn or do not roll
smoothly, replace them.
Recommended replacement is
every 4th year.
1. Remove cover.
5. If forks are bent or fractured in bolt
channel, replace them.
Front castors

2. Remove the mast from the base by
tightening the screws against the base.
4. Open base to maximum width.
Verify that the stop screw engages
with gear rack and is tight.
1. Remove mast attachment screw from
upper holes and place in lower holes.
3. Verify the stop screw is tight and the nut is in
the correct orientation. The at of the hex must be
positioned parallel with the end of the gear rack.

1. Open base to maximum width.
Drive out base into the middle. Check the play
between the base legs. The play should not exceed
3.5 cm (1.38 inch). If the play is more than 3.5 cm
(1.38) inch replace friction plates according to step 6.
2. Remove plastic cover.
Remove the stop screw and nut.
Remove base motor attachment screw.
3. Remove base motor from middle beam. 4. Remove middlebeam from legs.

5. Pull out the middle beam inserts. 6. Inspect gear rack for worn teeth and cracks
where stop nut contacts back surface (see arrow).
Inspect friction plates. Replace if worn or damaged.
7. Clean the friction plates/sliding surface and then
lubricate with PTFE grease. Reassemble middle beam.
8. With middle beam at full extension, insert base
motor. Verify the stop screw is tight and the nut isVerify the stop screw is tight and the nut is
in the correct orientation. The at of the hex must
be positioned parallel with the end of the gear rack.

9. Reassemble middle beam to base.
- Slide middlebeam inserts in until the gear rack
touches the drive shaft gear.
Note: Do not engage gear rack!
10. To set base width start base motor while
applying inword force on both legs.
After the upper and lower gear rack engage with
the base motor drive gear, both legs will retract.
Verify that distance A & B are equal.

1. Inspect that the armrest is tightened by tightening the two pre-mounted M8 screws. Rotate arms to raised
position as shown below. Verify that both arms rotate freely and hang vertically when not in use.

not damaged.
2. If damaged, the Roll Frame must be replaced.If damaged, the Roll Frame must be replaced.
(Prod. No. 20090020 or 20090064(grey)).
Replace according to assembly instruction in the
Service Manual for the lift.

2. Check the strap inside the emergency lowering
device.
3. Push the emergency lowering handle down and
pull the strap away.
4. Mount the new strap through the plastic housing with
the red mark towards the plastic housing and then as
shown above.
5. Check that the liftstrap is correctly mounted
1. Check the lift strap by driving the lift up & down .
Lift Strap needs to be changed every 5th year.

Battery

1. Remove the charger cable holder, then the battery. 2. Inspect V-shaped metal contacts on the battery
pack casing for uniformity.
Check the battery with the battery tester (part. No. 2101100).
A signal should be audible for more than 5 sec. If not, replace
battery (see 5.21 in the service manual).
3. Inspect V-shaped metal contacts on controlbox for
unifority. Verify that plastic housing for metal contacts is not
damaged/deformed. Tighten screws.
4. Place the removable battery pack into position on top of the
controlbox. Adjust until you hear a clicking sound.
Replace:
Battery needs to be changed every 3rd year.
