For safe and troublefree operation, there are a few routine measures which should be perfor-
med every day the lift is used.
• Visually inspect the patient lift and check for external damage or wear.
• Check that the safety latches on the sling bar work properly.
• Check the hand control and the lift and width movements.
• Check the emergency lowering function.
• Charge the battery every night after use, or with the frequency needed.
If needed, clean the patient lift with warm water or ethanol. Warning! Do not use chemicals
containing Phenol or chlorine, since the nylon parts may be damaged.
CAUTION!
Use only authorized Liko service personnel and Liko spare parts.
Transportation and storage
During transportation, or when the patient lift is not to be used for some time, the emergency
button should be pushed in. Also, when storing, keep the patient lift at a temperature exceeding
freezing point and at a relative humidity no more than 60%.
We always try to improve our products. Naturally, this means changes from time to time.

Tillsyn och underhåll

För problemfri användning bör vissa detaljer kontrolleras varje dag lyften används.
• Inspektera lyften och kontrollera att inga yttre skador har skett.
• Kontrollera skruv och låsmutter som fäster lyftbygeln.
• Kontrollera urkrokningsskyddets funktion.
• Kontrollera manövreringen av lyftrörelsen och breddinställningen.
• Kontrollera att nödsänkningen (både den elektriska och den manuella) fungerar.
• Ladda batterierna varje dag lyften använts och kontrollera då att laddaren fungerar.
Vid behov, rengör lyften med varmt vatten eller tvättsprit. OBS! Använd inte rengöringsmedel
som innehåller fenol eller klor, eftersom detta kan skada polyamidmaterialen.
Tillsyn och kontroll
Sabina skall genomgå kontroll minst en gång per år av förslitningdetaljer t ex leder, bultförband
mm. Utföres i enlighet med Likos serviceinstruktion och av auktoriserad personal.
VIKTIGT!
Reparation och underhåll får endast uföras av Liko auktoriserad personal och med original
reservdelar.
Transport och lagring
Under transport, eller då lyften inte skall användas under en längre tid, bör nödstoppen vara
intryckt. Lyften bör också förvaras frostfritt samt ej över normal luftfuktighet (ca 60%).
Serviceavtal
Liko erbjuder möjlighet att teckna serviceavtal för underhåll och återkommande provning av er
Sabina uppresningslyft.

4.1.1
2. When securing the mast to the base, the lift span can be
set at three different levels, as shown. Choose one of the
three holes to secure the mast to the base. The distance
between two holes is 5 cm (2 inches). Use the accompanying
locking handles to secure the mast to the base.
1. Lower the mast into the tube on the base.

3. A) Place the brace for the footrest into
the bracket on the mast, making sure the
frame is secure.
B) Press the footrest into the frame.
4. Insert the brace for the lower-leg
support into the mast’s lower-leg sup-
port mount.
Use knob A to adjust the depth, i.e.
the distance to the patient’s knees/
shins.
5. Mount lever for base-width adjustment
(Sabina II EM only):
• Press in the catch on the base with
one nger.
• Slide lever into place.
• Turn the lever until it clicks securely
in place on the base.
6. Connect the cables as follows:
• Mast motor cable to socket number 1
(see illustration above)
• Base motor cable to socket number 2
(not Sabina II EM).
• Handcontrol cable to socket number 3.
7. A) Connect the extension cable for the charging cable
to the control box.
B) Insert the extension cable in the tension clip under-
neath the control box.
C) Connect the charging cable to the extension cable.

4.2.1
After assembling, check the following:
• Check that the lifting motion as well as the
width adjustment of the base coincides with
the indicators on the hand control.
• Check that the emergency lowering device
functions properly.
• Check the wheel brakes.
• Check the battery charge.
• Check that the LED lamps on the charger
lights when charging.
Before assembling Sabina, check that you
have the following parts and tools:
• Lift assembly and overhead beam.
• Base with motor for width adjustment.
• Hand control with cable.
• Tools: Wrench 17, (2)
• Connection cable for charging.
• Battery.
• Frame for the footrest and footrest.
• Kneepad.

2. When securing the mast to
the base, you have the option
of setting the liftspan in three
different levels.
Choose one of the three holes
to secure the mast to the base.
The distance between two
holes is 5 cm.
(2 inches)
Use locking handles or
screw M10x60 and locking-nut
M10. Tighten with tool if
you use screw and nut.
3. Place the removable battery-
pack into position on top of the
electronic power pack. Check
that the batterypack is locked
to the assembling part.
A "click" sound will be heard.
1. Lower the mast into the
pipe on the base as shown
in the picture.
4. Connect the cables as follows:
Hand control cable to socket no. 1
Motorcable mast to socket no. 2
Motorcable width adjustment to socket no. 3
5.Reset the emergency
brake by turning the button
in the direction shown by
the arrow on top of the
button.
