Weight Carrying Capacity
Gross trailer weight (GTW) 30,000 lbs.
Tongue weight (TW) 7,500 lbs.
INSTALLATION MANUAL 60654
Tools Required
Allen key, 4mm --
Level of Difficulty
Easy
Installation difficulty levels are based on time
and effort involved and may vary depending on
the installer level of expertise, condition of the
vehicle and proper tools and equipment.
WARNING
Make sure the trailer ball assembly fully seats in the gooseneck and can be fully locked by the
pins of your gooseneck hitch.
Use of any pin other than what is provided by the manufacturer
could be a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty.
Ensure that the safety chains operate freely around the trailer ball system
and do not become entangled in the trailer ball system. Check for adequate
turning clearance between the front of all trailers and the truck cab.
If the ball is ever able to move with minimal force by hand more than five degrees
from the vertical position, the product must be replaced. Use of a heavily worn or
damaged trailer ball assembly may result in the trailer becoming separated from
the vehicle. Consult CURT Product Support if you have any questions.
Before every use, be sure the snap ring on the pivot pin
of the trailer ball assembly is in place and properly seated.
Immediately discontinue product use if the snap ring is missing on the end of the trailer ball
pivot pin or if the trailer ball pin has backed partially out of the trailer ball assembly.
When using the trailer ball assembly in a gooseneck designed for square shank
hitches, ensure that the shank adaptors are installed and hardware is tightened.

Step 1

Place the round shank of the ball into the cylinder with the directional
arrow pointing towards the front of the vehicle and engage the
lock pins. Make sure that the pins fully engage the round shank
of the extender and pass through the cylinder completely.
NOTICE

ensure that the shank adaptors (#4) are installed and hardware
is tightened to the torque specifications listed on page one.
Step 2
Grease the trailer ball assembly (#1) using the grease zerk
located at the front of the RockerBall™. Grease prior to
initial use and once every 3 months or 3,000 miles
of use with a high quality molybdenum-based grease.
DANGER
Failure to grease the trailer ball assembly may lead
to failure and can result in serious injury or death.
The RockerBall™is adequately lubricated when
grease can be seen in the areas marked below.

manual, as well as helpful videos, guides and much more!
Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly.
Proper tools will improve the quality of
installation and reduce the time required.
Periodic inspection of your product should be performed to
ensure all hardware and / or components remain secure.
To help prevent damage to the product or vehicle,
refer to the specified torque specifications when
securing hardware during the installation process.
Insert the RockerBall™assembly with the directional arrow pointing
towards the front of the vehicle. If the arrow is facing the rear of
the vehicle the performance of the RockerBall™will be diminished.
RockerBall™should be greased prior to initial
use and periodically as described below
Ensure the trailer ball size matches the trailer coupler.
If they do not, the trailer could become uncoupled.
