Hard Drive Removal
1. Turn off and unplug the game.
2. Unlock and open the rear door.
3. Lift the spring-loaded pin (see Figure 1) and carefully slide the CPU shelf out from the game
and into its service position.
4. Remove the screw and washer fastening the hard drive mounting plate to the CPU tray and
carefully pull the hard drive assembly away from the game. See Figure 2.
5. Remove the 4 screws and shoulder washers fastening the hard drive to the mounting plate.
See Figure 2.
6. Remove the grommet surrounding the wires on the 4-pin power connector from the cutout in
the hard drive mounting plate in order to allow room to disconnect the connector from the
drive. Then disconnect both the power connector and the hard drive ribbon cable from the
hard drive and remove the drive. See Figure 2.
Hard Drive Installation
1. Connect the power connector and ribbon cable to the new hard drive.
2. Replace the grommet surrounding the wires on the power connector in the cutout in the hard
drive mounting plate, then fasten the drive to the mounting plate with the 4 screws and shoul-
der washers. See Figure 2.
3. Place the hard drive assembly in the game and fasten the mounting plate to the CPU tray with
the screw and washer. See Figure 2.
4. Slide the CPU shelf back into the game until the spring-loaded pin clicks in place.
5. Close and lock the rear door.
6. Plug in and turn on the game.
