4 Wire feed speed
Press the key and turn the control knob until
the desired wire feed speed is achieved.
5 Control knob
Adjustment of wire feed speed and arc
voltage. If the key for secondary parameters
is active, it is possible to adjust the
parameters lying behind.
6 Selecting trigger mode
Change between 2-stroke (indicator off) and
4-stroke (indicator on).
2-stroke: The welding process starts when
the torch trigger is activated and ends when
the torch trigger is released.
4-stroke: The welding process starts when
the torch trigger is activated and released,
and ends when the torch trigger is activated
again.
7 Secondary parameters
Press the key until the desired parameter is
shown on the display.
Press key 4 briefly to finish.

B Warning – overheating
CWire inching
Press the key and hold it down while
activating the torch trigger. Release the key
when wire inching starts. Wire inching stops
when the torch trigger is deactivated.

III. Set arc voltage
1 Arc voltage - fine steps
Push of the key increases the arc voltage in
fine steps.
2 Arc voltage - rough steps
Push of the key increases the arc voltage in
rough steps.
3 Arc voltage - infinitely variable
The arc voltage can be adjusted as required.
Press the key under the symbol and turn the
control knob until the desired arc voltage is
achieved.

FOCUS MIG 400: 13-37 V
