(Up)
(Down) Provides volume control.
(Speaker) Enables & disables Handsfree Mode.
(Mute) Mutes the microphone, handset, or headset during a call.
(Applications) Provides access to menus for your phone’s applications and settings.
(Cancel) Ends a call and can cancel any feature you are programming to take you back to the previous
menu level.
(Redial) Calls the last number dialed.
(Hold) Places the current call on hold.
(Transfer) Initiates a call transfer or establishes a three-party conference call.
(Message) Provides access to your voice mailbox and flashes to notify you of messages waiting in your
voice mailbox.

Answering Calls
Lift the handset, or press (Speaker) to answer a call in Handsfree Mode.
Placing Calls
With or without the handset lifted, dial the extension number or ‘Outgoing’ button + Outside Number.
Muting Calls
While on a call, press Mute (on/off).
Holding Calls
With a call in progress, Press Hold.
Press the Flashing call key to get back to the caller.
Transferring Calls
While on the call, press Trans/Conf, and then enter the extension number or dial 8 + Outside number.
Wait for an answer, announce the call, and then hang up.
oIf the extension is unavailable, press the Cancel button to return to the caller.
Note: To transfer directly to VM, press the message key, dial the mailbox number and hang up.
Paging
Lift Handset, Press Page, enter zone number
Make Announcement, hang up
Callback
While ringing an unanswered extension, Press Call Me Back from the display.
oWhen the party is available, your phone starts ringing, and the display shows the Callback ringing indicator.
Do-Not-Disturb
Press the DND button, the button will light up
Press DND again, to cancel
Call History - view missed calls, received calls, and dialed calls (Last 50 calls)
Press Applications
Select Call History from the display
Choose Missed, Answered, or Made from the display
Use the page selectors to scroll through the call display
Forwarding Calls
Press Applications
Select Call Forwarding from the display
Enter the number: 8 + Outside Number
Select Activate from the display
oNote: To cancel follow the same steps as above but press Deactivate instead of Activate.
Placing a Conference Call
While on the call, press Trans/Conf, and then enter the extension number or dial 8 + Outside number.
Wait for an answer, press Trans/Conf to connect everyone together.
oIf the extension is unavailable, press the Cancel button to return to the caller.
Recording a Call
While on the call, press Record

Program an Extension or a Feature Key
Press Applications
Select Settings from the display.
Select Programmable Keys from the display.
Press the Key you wish to program.
You can view Features or Applications: If you are looking at Applications, there will be a button that says, “View Features”.
Press View Features
Use the Page Navigation Keys to scroll through the features list
oSelect the Feature you want, a default label is assigned
Select Speed Call – to program an extension or outside number
Select Edit Label, enter the name using the dial pad, Press Save
Select Edit Number, enter the extension or dial 8 + Outside number, Press Save
oPress Save
Keep pressing Close until you get back to the main screen (approximately 3 times).

Setting up your new mailbox
When you access your mailbox for the first time, a user tutorial automatically activates. This will guide you through how to record a
greeting, a name, and change your password.
Press the message button
Enter your Passcode when prompted. (For the first time until you change it, it is 1111)
Follow the prompts to record your greeting.
Follow the prompts to record your name.
Follow the prompts to change your passcode.
Accessing your mailbox
From your own extension
Press the message button
Enter your Passcode when prompted.
From another extension
Press the message button
Press
*to back out of that user’s mailbox.
Enter your mailbox number followed by *.
Enter your Passcode when prompted.
From Outside the office
Dial the main number
Press *
Enter your mailbox number followed by *.
Enter your Passcode when prompted.
Basic Voice Mail Commands:
While the message is playing:
Back up in 5 second increments *
Pause (default 30 seconds) 1
Forward 5 seconds #
Skip to your next message 8
After message has played:
Del or Discard 3 – You can press * immediately after deleting to recover it
Keep 5
Give msg. to a co-worker 4

oDial 4for your Extended Absence Greeting
Follow prompts to record your greeting.
