Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das dynamische Instrumentenmikrofon DM-
20D ist für den Einsatz auf der Bühne vorgese-
hen und eignet sich optimal für die Schallabnah-
me am Schlagzeug und an den Percussions.
Für die Befestigung ist das Mikrofon mit einer
stabilen Klemmhalterung ausgestattet, über die
es sich einfach auf einer Trommel montieren
läßt. Das Mikrofon kann aber auch direkt auf ein
Mikrofonstativ mit 9-mm-Gewinde (3/8") aufge-
schraubt werden.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für
elektromagnetischeVerträglichkeit89/336/EWG.
●Das Mikrofon ist nur zur Verwendung im
Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor
Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein
trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch
angeschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repa-
riert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haf-
tung übernommen werden.
●Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
Entsorgungeinem örtlichenRecyclingbetrieb.
Inbetriebnahme
1) Bei Montage des Mikrofons über die Klemm-
halterung die Knebelschraube an der Klemm-
vorrichtung lösen, die Halterung an der ge-
wünschten Stelle festklemmen und durch
Anziehen der Knebelschraube arretieren.
Zum Ausrichten auf die Schallquelle läßt sich
das Mikrofon in der Halterung leicht vertikal
verschieben. Dazu die Rändelschraube, über
die das Mikrofon am Halter befestigt ist,
lösen, das Mikrofon optimal positionieren,
und die Schraube wieder anziehen.
Soll das Mikrofon direkt an einem Mikro-
fonstativ mit 9-mm-Gewinde (3/8") befestigt
werden, die Rändelschraube abschrauben,
das Mikrofon vom Halter nehmen und direkt
auf das Stativgewinde schrauben.
2) Das Mikrofon über ein Anschlußkabel (z.B.
ein Kabel der MEC-Serie aus dem Programm
von „img Stage Line“) mit einem XLR-Mikro-
foneingang am Audiogerät (z.B. Mischpult,
Verstärker) verbinden.

Instrument Microphone
Applications
The dynamic instrument microphone DM-20D is
provided for stage applications and ideally
suited for the sound pick-up at the drums and
percussion instruments.
For fixing, the microphone is equipped with a
stableclamping supportby whichit can easily be
mounted onto a drum. However, the microphone
can also directly be screwed onto a microphone
stand with 9mm (3/8") thread.
Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
●The microphone is only suitable for indoor
applications. Protect it against humidity and
heat (admissible ambient temperature range
0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
●If the microphone is used for purposes other
than originally intended, if it is not connected
correctly or not repaired in a qualified way, no
liability can be assumed for possible damage.
●If the microphone is to be put out of operation
definitively,itmust be disposedof in alocal re-
cycling plant.
Setting into Operation
1) When mounting the microphone via the
clamping support, release the knob screw at
the clamping device, tightly clamp the support
at the desired place and fix it by tightening the
knob screw. For aligning the microphone to
the sound source the microphone can slightly
be slid in the support in vertical direction. For
this purpose release the knurled screw by
which the microphone is fixed at the support,
position the microphone in an optimum way,
and tighten the screw again.
For direct fixing of the microphone to a
microphone stand with 9mm (3/8") thread,
screw off the knurled screw, remove the
microphone from the support, and screw it
directly on the stand thread.
2) Connect the microphone via a cable (e.g. a
cable of the MEC series of the “img Stage
Line” range) to an XLR microphone input at
the audio unit (e.g. mixer, amplifier).

Microphone dynamique
pour instrument
Possibilité d’utilisation
Le microphone dynamique pour instrument DM-
20D est conçu pour une utilisation sur scène et
est particulièrement bien adapté à une prise de
son d’instruments de tambours et percussions.
Il possède pour le fixer, un support stable à
pince avec lequel le microphone peut être facile-
ment monté sur un tambour. Il peut également
être vissé directement sur un pied de micro avec
filetage 9mm (3/8").
Conseils d’utilisation
Le microphone répond à la norme européenne
89/336/CEE relative à la compatibilité électro-
magnétique.
●Il n’est conçu que pour une utilisation en inté-
rieur; protégez-le de l’humidité et de la chaleur
(températured’utilisationadmissible0–40°C).
●Pourlenettoyer,utilisezunchiffonsecetdoux,
en aucun cas de produits chimiques et d’eau.
●Nousdéclinonstoute responsabilité encasde
dommage si le micro est utilisé dans un but
autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il
n’est pas correctement branché ou n’est pas
réparé d’une manière appropriée.
●Lorsque le micro est définitivement retiré du
service, vous devez le déposer dans une usi-
ne de recyclage adaptée.
Fonctionnement
1) Pour fixer le micro en utilisant le support à
pince, dévissez la vis à garret du dispositif du
serrage, placez le support à l’endroit souhaité
puis revissez pour assurer la fixation. Pour di-
riger le micro vers la source du son, il peut
être légèrement poussé verticalement dans le
support.Pour cefaire, dévissezla vismoletée
par laquelle le micro est fixé sur le support,
positionnez le micro d’une manière optimale,
puis revissez.
Si le micro doit être directement fixé sur un
pied micro avec un filetage 9mm (3/8"), dévis-
sez la vis moletée, retirez le micro du support
etvissez-ledirectementsurlefiletagedu pied.
2) Reliez ensuite le micro via un cordon de bran-
chement (p.ex. un cordon de la série MEC-...
de la gamme “img Stage Line”), à l’entrée mi-
cro XLR sur l’appareil audio (p.ex. table de
mixage, amplificateur).

Possibilità d’impiego
Il microfono dinamico per strumenti musicali
DM-20D è previsto per l’impiego sul palcosce-
nico ed è indicato particolarmente per la batteria
e la percussione.
Per il fissaggio è presente un morsetto robu-
sto che permette il fissaggio direttamente su un
tamburo. È possibile fissarlo anche ad un trep-
piede con filettatura 9mm (3/8").
Avvertenze di sicurezza
Questo microfono corrisponde alla direttiva CE
89/336/CEE sulla compatibilità elettromagne-
tica.
●Lo strumento è previsto solo per l’uso all’in-
terno di locali. Proteggerlo dall’umidità e dal
calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra
0°C e 40°C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso pro-
dotti chimici o acqua.
●Nelcasod’usoimproprio, dicollegamentisba-
gliati o di riparazione scorretta non si assume
nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni.
●Se si desidera eliminare il microfono definiti-
vamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad
un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
Messa in funzione
1) Nel caso di montaggio con il morsetto, allen-
tare la vite di serraggio del morsetto, posizio-
nare il morsetto nel punto desiderato e strin-
gere di nuovo la vite. Per orientare il micro-
fono verso la sorgente sonora è possibile
spostarlo leggermente in senso verticale. Per
fare ciò allentare la vite zigrinata con cui il
microfono è fissato al supporto, posizionare il
microfono e stringere la vite di nuovo.
Per fissare il microfono su un treppiede
confilettature9mm(3/8"),toglierelavite zigri-
nata, staccare il microfono dal supporto ed
avvitarlo direttamente sul treppiede.
2) Collegare il microfono con un ingresso micro-
fonoXLR dell’apparecchio audio(p.es.mixer,
amplificatore), servendosi di un cavo di colle-
gamento (p.es. un cavo della serie MEC-…
della “img Stage Line”).
