VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Waarschuwing: Bij het gebruik van ieder elektrisch apparaat, dienen basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen
inzake veiligheid altijd nageleefd te worden, inclusief onderstaande instructies, om het risico
van brand, elektrische schok of verwonding te reduceren.
Algemeen
1. Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken.
Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing om deze indien nodig te kunnen raadplegen.
2. Gebruik het apparaat alleen zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing staat beschreven.
3. Niet te gebruiken voor andere doeleinden dan in deze handleiding staan beschreven.
4. Gebruik het apparaat niet indien de stekker, het snoer of andere onderdelen beschadigd zijn.
5. Indien het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet u het laten vervangen door Van den Berg Products,
een door Van den Berg Products geautoriseerd servicecentrum of personen met vergelijkbare
kwalificaties om gevaar te voorkomen.
6. Controleer of het voltage aangegeven op het apparaat overeenkomt met de plaatselijke
netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit.
7. Dit apparaat dient te worden aangesloten op een geaard stopcontact.
8. Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder kinderen) met
verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens, of die gebrek aan ervaring
of kennis hebben, tenzij iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid toezicht op hen
houdt of hen heeft uitgelegd hoe het apparaat dient te worden gebruikt.
9. Dit apparaat is geen speelgoed. Nauwlettend toezicht is vereist als het apparaat in nabijheid
van kinderen, huisdieren en planten wordt gebruikt. Laat het apparaat niet door kinderen
gebruiken.
10. Laat kinderen nooit met de verpakkingsfolies spelen.
11. Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het niet normaal functioneert, gevallen of beschadigd is
of buiten heeft gestaan.
12. Controleer het toestel, het snoer en de accessoires regelmatig op beschadiging. Een
beschadigd toestel c.q. beschadigde accessoires mogen niet in gebruik worden genomen.
13. Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact neemt of in het
stopcontact plaatst.
14. Trek de stekker niet aan de stroomkabel uit het stopcontact. Om de stekker uit het
stopcontact te nemen, pakt u de stekker en trekt deze voorzichtig uit het stopcontact.
15. Neem altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u het apparaat vult met water, leegt, of
wanneer het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt.
16. Niet buiten gebruiken.
17. Dompel het toestel nooit in water of andere vloeistoffen.
18. Kom niet met natte handen aan het apparaat of de stekker.
19. Trek of draag het apparaat niet aan de stroomkabel, gebruik het snoer niet als handvat,
klem het snoer niet tussen de deur, trek het snoer niet om scherpe randen of hoeken.
20. Houd het snoer uit de buurt van verwarmde oppervlakken.
21. Gebruik geen accessoires die niet zijn aanbevolen door de leverancier, in het bijzonder
geen accessoires die niet bij het apparaat zijn geleverd.
22. Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u de accessoires bevestigt of losmaakt. Zorg ervoor
dat het apparaat volledig afgekoeld is wanneer u accessoires bevestigt of losmaakt.
23. Laat het apparaat niet onbeheerd wanneer de stekker in het stopcontact zit. Neem de
stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt of wanneer onderhoud
uitgevoerd wordt.

24. Gebruik de stoomreiniger niet voor het reinigen van ramen, wanden, plafond en elektrische
apparatuur.
25. Gebruik de stoomreiniger nooit in de nabijheid van ontvlambare vloeistoffen en gassen.
Dit i.v.m. explosiegevaar.
26. Laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen voordat u het opbergt.
27. Bewaar het apparaat en de accessoires binnen en op een droge plaats.
28. Berg het toestel op buiten het bereik van kinderen.
29. Repareer om gevaren te vermijden het apparaat niet zelf.
Stoomfunctie
Waarschuwing: De kracht en warmte van de stoom kunnen nadelige gevolgen hebben voor
bepaalde materialen. Controleer altijd voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt, of een oppervlak
of materiaal ook daadwerkelijk geschikt is voor behandeling met stoom. Doe dit door een test
uit te voeren op een verborgen oppervlak van het te behandelen materiaal.
1. De kracht en de hitte van de stoom kunnen nadelige uitwerkingen hebben op sommige
materialen. Voorbeelden: gelakt hout of leer kan als gevolg van de stoom worden gebleekt.
Glanzende kunststof kan door stoom verkleuren. Acryl, fluweel en linnen reageren zeer
gevoelig op de temperatuur van stoom.
2. Plaats het apparaat nooit lang op een plek! Dit kan beschadigingen aan het te behandelen
materiaal veroorzaken!
3. Er bestaat gevaar voor verbranding door hete stoom!
4. Contact met hete onderdelen, heet water of stoom kan brandwonden tot gevolg hebben.
Wees daarom ook zeer voorzichtig wanneer u het apparaat na gebruik leeg laat lopen, er
kan nog heet water in het apparaat zitten.
5. Richt de stoomstraal nooit op mensen, dieren of planten.
6. Bewerk geen kledingstukken, die zich op het lichaam bevinden.
7. Gebruik de stoomreiniger nooit met natte handen en volg de veiligheidsvoorschriften voor
elektriciteit, dus bijvoorbeeld nooit op blote voeten gebruiken.
8. Let er op, dat u op tijd water bijvult.
9. Vul de watertank niet met meer dan 1,0 liter water. Overvulling kan resulteren in een
mogelijke elektrische schok.
10. Gebruik kraanwater of gedestilleerd/gedemineraliseerd water indien het kraanwater in uw
regio erg hard is.
11. Voeg geen schoonmaakmiddelen, parfum, olie of andere chemicaliën toe aan het water
dat u gebruikt in uw apparaat, aangezien dit schade kan veroorzaken aan de unit dan wel
het apparaat onveilig maakt in gebruik.
12. Richt de stoomstraal nooit rechtstreeks op zeer koude glasoppervlakten.
13. Let er op dat de stoom niet direct wordt gericht op delen van apparaten waar zich de
elektrische componenten bevinden, denk aan de onderdelen in de oven.
14. Schade veroorzaakt door verkeerd gebruik van stoom aan objecten, materialen, personen
en/of dieren of door het niet naleven van de instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt
uitgesloten van garantie.
Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik
Waarschuwing: gevaar voor brandwonden. Gaat u a.u.b. voorzichtig te werk wanneer u
dit apparaat gebruikt. De stoom die uit het apparaat komt is zeer heet!

MONTAGE INSTRUCTIES
Montage apparaat
1. Haal alle onderdelen uit de doos en verwijder het verpakkingsmateriaal.
2. Bevestig het middendeel in de voet, en zorg ervoor dat het zwarte knopje aan het uiteinde
van het middenstuk op de juiste positie vastklikt.
3. Beweeg de hendel in opwaartse beweging totdat het ronde knopje bij het scharnierpunt
vastklikt.
Bevestigen van de vloerdoek
Trek de vloerdoek over de voet van het apparaat, en bevestig deze met de klittenband.

HET GEBRUIK
Het vullen van de watertank
1. Verzeker uzelf ervan dat de stekker niet in het stopcontact zit. Verwijder de dop van de
watertank.
2. Vul de tank m.b.v. de vulbeker. Om kalkaanslag te voorkomen, wordt geadviseerd om
gedestilleerd water te gebruiken. Vul de watertank met maximaal 1,0 liter water.
3. Schroef de dop weer op de watertank. Bij het plaatsen van de dop moet het pijltje dat op
de dop staat, op één lijn zijn met het rechter markeringsstreepje op de watertank.
Vervolgens draait u de dop met de klok mee, zodat het pijltje op één lijn komt met het
linker markeringsstreepje.
Waarschuwing: Gebruik het apparaat nooit indien de watertank dop niet goed vastgedraaid is.
Inschakelen stoomreiniger
1. Stop de stekker in het stopcontact.
2. Druk de stroomschakelaar in. Het oranje controlelampje gaat branden.
3. Na 30-50 seconden gaat het groene stoomcontrolelampje branden. De stoomreiniger is
gereed voor gebruik.
4. Druk de stoomschakelaar in en het apparaat begint te stomen.
Bijvullen van de watertank
Indien de watertank leeg is, gaat het rode waterniveau controlelampje branden. Het
stoomcontrolelampje gaat uit en het apparaat stopt met stomen.
1. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Haal de dop van de watertank af.
3. Vul de watertank met water.
4. Schroef de dop weer op de tank.
5. Stop de stekker in het stopcontact.
Tips voor gebruik
- U kunt de gebruikshoek van het apparaat verstellen en naar behoefte de handgreep naar
boven en beneden bewegen. Plaats hiervoor uw voet op de voet van het apparaat en beweeg
de handgreep naar boven of beneden.
- Indien u een glad oppervlak, zoals bijvoorbeeld een tegel- of laminaatvloer wilt reinigen
met het apparaat, gebruik dan de voet met de vloerdoek om geen krassen op de vloeren te
krijgen.
Optionele accessoire
Indien u laagpolig tapijt met het apparaat wilt opfrissen of desinfecteren, gebruikt u dan de
vloerdoek met het opzetstuk voor tapijt. Deze optionele accessoire is geschikt voor vloerkleden
en vloerbedekking, en is verkrijgbaar via www.muppa.nl.
NA GEBRUIK
Het apparaat bewaren
1. Wanneer u het apparaat niet gebruikt, neem dan telkens de stekker uit het stopcontact en
laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.
2. Leeg de watertank. Hiervoor dient u de dop van de watertank, en het filter dat zich onder
deze dop bevindt, te verwijderen. U kunt nu de watertank legen. Plaats vervolgens het filter
en de dop weer terug.

3. De stroomkabel kunt u om de kabelhouder op de handgreep opwikkelen.
4. Berg de stoomreiniger op in een koele, droge, ventilerende ruimte.
5. Bewaar het apparaat altijd op een plek uit de buurt van kinderen.
ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
Let erop dat er geen water in het apparaat binnendringt. Dompel het apparaat nooit onder
water of in enige andere vloeistof. Neem voor elke reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact en
laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.
1. Watertank legen.
2. Indien nodig kunt u de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek afnemen.
Droog het apparaat vervolgens af met een schone, droge, doek.
Vloerdoek reinigen
Reinig de doeken volgens de voorschriften op het label.
UW OUDE TOESTEL WEGDOEN
1. Als het symbool met de doorgekruiste verrijdbare afvalbak op een product staat, betekent
dit dat het product valt onder de Europese Richtlijn 2002/96/EC.
2. Elektrische en elektronische producten mogen niet worden meegegeven met het
huishoudelijke afval, maar moeten worden ingeleverd bij speciale inzamelingspunten die
door de lokale of landelijke overheid zijn aangewezen.
3. De correcte verwijdering van uw oude toestel helpt negatieve gevolgen voor het milieu en
de menselijke gezondheid voorkomen.
4. Wilt u meer informatie over de verwijdering van uw oude toestel? Neem dan contact op
met uw gemeente, de afvalophaaldienst of de winkel waar u het product gekocht heeft.

GARANTIEBEWIJS
Dit garantiebewijs dekt uw product voor een periode van 24 maanden vanaf de datum van
aankoop op defecten aan het product, op voorwaarde dat u het product correct heeft gebruikt
zoals omschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing.
Gebreken die ontstaan door ondeskundige behandeling, beschadiging of reparatiepogingen van
derden, vallen niet onder de garantie. Dit geldt ook wanneer het apparaat in gebruik is genomen
zonder dat het reservoir met water gevuld is.
De garantie geldt niet voor de bijgeleverde accessoires, en andere delen van het product die aan
slijtage onderhevig zijn. Mocht u deze willen nabestellen, dan is dat mogelijk via www.muppa.nl.
Dit product is alleen bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Schade en/of storingen door
bedrijfsmatig gebruik worden uitgesloten van garantie.
U kunt gebruik maken van de garantie indien:
• Het product volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing is gebruikt;
• U in het bezit bent van een geldig origineel aankoopbewijs welke niet is veranderd of
onleesbaar gemaakt;
• Het serviceformulier duidelijk en compleet is ingevuld;
• Er geen ingrepen zijn verricht door niet bevoegde personen of werkplaatsen;
• De schade aan het product niet is te wijten aan een oorzaak vreemd aan het apparaat, zoals:
brandschade, waterschade, transportschade, atmosferische ontladingen of verkeerd of
onvoldoende onderhoud.
Mocht ondanks onze zorgvuldige kwaliteitscontrole uw product niet goed functioneren, dan kunt
u een beroep doen op onze service. Om een beroep te doen op onze service, verzoeken wij u om
een duidelijk ingevuld serviceformulier, inclusief aankoopbon, naar ons op te sturen. Het
serviceformulier kunt u verderop in de deze gebruiksaanwijzing vinden.
Om ongerief te voorkomen, raden wij u aan de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig na te lezen
alvorens u tot ons te wenden.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

1. Read this user manual carefully before you use this appliance and keep it for future reference.
2. Use it only as described in this manual.
3. Not to be used for other purposes than described in this manual.
4. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other components are damaged.
5. If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Van den Berg Products, a service
centre authorized by Van den Berg Products or similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a safety hazard.
6. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.
7. Always use an earthed socket.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
9. This appliance is not a toy. Careful supervision is required when the unit is used near
children, pets and plants. Do not allow children to use this appliance.
10. Never allow children to play with the plastic packaging.
11. Do not use the unit if it is not working properly or has been dropped, damaged or left
outdoors.
12. Check the cleaner, power supply cable and accessories regularly for damage. Do not use
this cleaner if it or its accessories have been damaged.
13. Turn off the appliance before you pull the plug from the wall socket or before placing the
plug in the wall socket.
14. Do not pull the plug from the wall socket by its power cord. To take the plug from the wall
socket you hold the plug and pull it carefully from the wall socket.
15. Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket when filling with water or emptying,
and when not in use.
16. Do not use the unit outside.
17. Never immerse the appliance into water or into any other liquid.
18. Do not touch the unit or the plug with wet hands.
19. Do not pull or carry the unit by its power cord and do not use the power cord as a handle.
Do not close the door on the power cord or pull it around sharp edges or corners.
20. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
21. Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the supplier; especially those
accessories that have not been supplied with the appliance.
22. Always switch the appliance off before you attach or remove the accessories. Make sure
the device is completely cooled down before attaching or removing accessories.
23. Do not leave the appliance unattended when the plug is in the wall socket. Remove the
plug from the wall socket when you are not using the device or when carrying out
maintenance.
24. Do not use the appliance to clean windows, walls, ceiling or electrical appliances.
25. Never use the unit in the proximity of combustible liquids and gases. Risk of explosion.

26. Let the appliance cool down completely before storing.
27. Keep the appliance and the accessories indoors and in a dry place.
28. Store the cleaner safely out of reach of children.
29. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
Steam function
Warning: the power and heat of the steam may have adverse consequences for certain materials.
Always check, before putting the device into operation, whether a surface or material is actually
suitable for treatment with steam. Do this by executing a test on a hidden surface of the material
you wish to treat.
1. The force and heat of the steam may damage certain materials. Some fabrics may react to
the temperature of the steam. For example: unpainted wood or leather can be bleached by
the action of steam; glossy plastic can be dulled by steam; acrylic fibre, velvet and linen
react very sensitively to the temperature of steam.
2. Do not keep the device too long on one spot! This can cause damage to materials!
3. Exposure to hot steam can cause scalding!
4. Burns can occur from touching hot parts, hot water or steam. Use caution when draining
unit after use as there may be hot water in the unit.
5. Never directly steam towards people, animals or plants.
6. Never attempt to clean clothes which are still being worn.
7. Do not handle or operate steamer with wet hands and follow electrical safety precautions
at all times, i.e., never operate without shoes.
8. Ensure that the cleaner does not operate on an empty tank.
9. Do not fill the water tank with more than 1,0 litres of water. Overfilling may result in a
possible electrical shock.
10. Use tap water or distilled/purified water if the tap water in your area is very hard.
11. Do not add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water
used in this appliance, as this may damage the unit or make it unsafe for use.
12. Do not apply steam directly to very cold glass surfaces.
13. The steam should not be aimed directly at parts containing electrical components such as
the electrical components inside an oven.
14. Damage caused by improper use of steam on objects, materials, persons and/or animals
or by not observing the instructions in these directions for use is excluded from guarantee.
This product is intended for domestic use only.
Warning: danger of scalding. Please use caution when using the steam cleaner. The
steam emitted from this aperture is very hot!

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Assembly device
1. Take all parts out of the box and remove all packaging.
2. Attach the body of the appliance to the base, and make sure the black knob at the end of
the body locks into position.
3. Move the handle in upwards direction until the round knob at the pivoting point locks into
position.
Attaching the cleaning cloth
Pull the cleaning cloth across the unit base, and fix into place with Velcro.

THE USE
Filling the water tank
1. Ensure that the unit has been disconnected from the power supply. Remove the knob of
the water tank.
2. Fill the tank by the measuring cup. In order to avoid premature scaling, only fill the water
tank with distilled water. Do not fill the water tank with more than 1,0 litres of water.
3. Screw on the knob again. When you replace the knob, make sure the arrow on the knob is
in one line with the right mark on the water tank. Then turn the knob clockwise, and make
sure the arrow is in one line with the left mark.
Warning: Never use the unit if the water tank knob has not been securely screwed on.
Starting the unit
1. Insert the plug into the mains socket.
2. Press down the power switch. The orange on/off indicator lights up.
3. After 30-50 seconds, the green steam-ready indicator lights up. The steam mop is ready for
use.
4. Press down the steam switch and steam will be emitted.
Refilling the water tank
If the water tank is empty, the red lack-of-water indicator lights up. The steam-ready indicator
goes off and the device stops emitting steam.
1. Pull the plug out of the mains socket.
2. Open the knob of the water tank.
3. Fill water into the water tank.
4. Screw the knob back on.
5. Plug in the mains socket again.
Suggestions for use
- You can set the angle and as needed, move the handle up or down. For this, place your
foot on the unit base and move the handle up or down.
- If you wish to clean smooth surfaces such as if you wish to clean tiles or laminate with the
unit, use the unit base together with the cleaning cloth so as not to scratch the surfaces.
Optional accessory
If you wish to refresh or disinfect short piled carpets with the unit, use the cleaning cloth
together with the carpet glider. This optional accessory is suitable for cleaning carpets and floor
covering, and can be ordered at your place of purchase.
AFTER USE
Storing the device
1. When not using the unit, always remove the mains plug from the socket and allow it to
cool down completely.
2. Empty the water tank. Remove the water tank knob and the filter below this knob. Now you
can empty the water tank. Than replace the filter and knob.
3. You can wind the cable around the winder on the handle.
4. Store the steam cleaner in a cool, dry and ventilating place.
5. Store the unit out of the reach of children.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Ensure that no water penetrates the device. Never submerge it in water. Every time before you
clean, disconnect the mains plug and allow the unit to cool off completely.
1. Empty the water tank.
2. If needed, wipe off the cleaner’s surfaces with a damp cloth and then thoroughly wipe it dry.
Cleaning the cloth
Clean the cloth according to the data on the care label.
DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD APPLIANCE
1. When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means the product
is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
2. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal
waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed by the government or the local
authorities.
3. The correct disposal of your old appliance will help prevent potential negative consequences
for the environment and human health.
4. For more detailed information about disposal of your appliance, please contact your city
office, waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

GUARANTEE
This guarantee covers your unit for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase for service
and replacement of parts, on the condition that you have used the machine correctly as described
in the user manual. This guarantee does not exclude national legislation that may exist in the
country of purchase in regards to warranty regulations.
When you make a claim under this guarantee, you must submit the original invoice or receipt
with clear mention of the date of purchase, name of retailer and the description and model
number of the appliance. You are advised to keep these documents in a safe place.
This device is intended for domestic use only. Damage and / or malfunctions as the result of
industrial or commercial use are excluded from the warranty.
The guarantee for this appliances expires if:
• The original invoice or receipt has in one way or another been changed or made illegible;
• The model or serial number on the product has been changed, removed, deleted or made
illegible;
• Repairs have been executed by unauthorized repair workshops or persons who are not
authorized to do so;
• The damage is the result of an external cause, such as fire damage, water damage, transport
damage, atmospheric discharges, insufficient or improper maintenance;
• The appliance has been operated in another country than for which originally designed,
approved, released and produced, as well as defects occurred as the result of such
modifications;
• The appliance has not been used according to the guidelines and directions in the user manual
supplied with the product.
In the unlikely event your appliance is not functioning well or shows any defect, please contact
your retailer. To avoid any inconvenience, we advise you to read the user manual carefully before
contacting them.

Steckdose zu ziehen, nehmen Sie den Stecker in die Hand und ziehen diesen vorsichtig
aus der Steckdose.
15. Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät mit Wasser füllen, es
entleeren, oder wenn Sie es nicht benutzen.
16. Nicht außerhalb des Hauses anwenden.
17. Tauchen Sie das Gerät nimmer in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit.
18. Berühren Sie das Gerät oder den Stecker nicht mit nassen Händen.
19. Ziehen oder tragen Sie das Gerät nie am Netzkabel und heben Sie es auf keinen Fall am
Kabel hoch. Klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht in der Tür ein und führen Sie es nicht an scharfen
