GENERAL CAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS
A- Not for use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5
percent oxygen.
J- Failure to properly use and maintain this product
could result in injury or death.
M- All approved respirators shall e selected, fitted,
used, and maintained in accordance with MSHA,
OSHA, and other applica le respirators.
O- Refer to User’s Instructions, and/or maintenance
manuals for information on use and maintenance of
these respirators.
S- Special or critical User’s Instructions and/or specific
use limitations apply. Refer to the User’s Instructions
efore donning.
AA- This respirator is to e used for escape only and will
protect against the inhalation of certain respiratory
hazards.
CBRN CAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS
R- Some CBRN agents may not present immediate
effects from exposure, ut can result in delayed
impairment, illness, or death.
X- Consult manufacturer's User's Instructions for infor-
mation on the use, storage, and maintenance of
these respirators at various temperatures.
DD- This respirator provides respiratory protection against
inhalation of certain gas and vapor chemical agents,
iological particulates, and radiological and nuclear
dust particles. This respirator provides limited dermal
(skin) protection to the head area and eyes.
EE- Eye irritation may e experienced ased upon the
CBRN agent and exposure (concentration and dura-
tion).
FF- CBRN agents, depending on how they are used, may
provide disa ling effect as a result of skin exposure.

–Direct contact with CBRN agents requires proper
handing of the respirator after use. Correct disposal
procedures must e followed.
NN- This respirator is a one-time-use device with no
replacea le parts. Discard after use regardless of
contaminant exposure.

ment, nor for respir tory protection while working.

ment, instruction nd tr ining in the use of equip-
ment, inspection nd m inten nce of equipment,
nd medic l surveill nce.
3. This respir tor will perform s designed only if
used nd m int ined ccording to the m nuf ctur-
er's instructions. The Progr m Administr tor nd
the users must re d nd underst nd these instruc-
tions before using or servicing this product.

5. This respir tory protective device does not supply
oxygen. Use only in dequ tely ventil ted re s
