QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
FEATURE KEY: Used to activate terminal set-up and to program
one-touch keys.
FEATURE & 3 =Selects ringer tone
RECALL: Press key to terminate established call and re-
seize dial tone.
CONF: Press key to establish a three-way
conversation. LED on key will light when
conference is established.
REDIAL: On Display Telephones, Press key until
desired number is displayed. Up to 5
previously dialed numbers. (Non-Display
Telephones are last number redial only) Press
# or * to automatically dial that number.
SPEAKER: Controls the built-in speaker, which can be
used for hands-free dialing/monitoring.
ANSWER: This key is not used.
TRANSFER: Allows the station user to transfer established
calls to another station.
HOLD: Allows the station user to place an internal or
external call on hold.
UP/DOWN (↑/↓): Used to adjust volume and LCD display.
LCD: Press ↑or ↓when idle.
Speaker/Handset Volume: Press ↑or ↓
during conversation. Ringer Volume:Press ↑
or ↓during ringing.
SOFT KEYS: Keys that allow the user to turn ON or OFF
features available to them. Key functionality
will change depending on the state of the
telephone.
MIC: Used to activate and deactivate microphone.

VOICE MAIL = 6000
Default Security Code=1234 You must finish the Tutorial.
“1” means “yes” “2” means “no”.
•To access Voice Mail from Outside:
Dial Main School Number + 9 + your extension number.
•To access Voice Mail from another phone:
Dial (6000) + # + 9 + your extension number.
•To transfer a call directly into a Voice Mail box
Press Transfer dial (6000) + (extension number) + 2.
“ * “ will by-pass the Voice Mail greeting when leaving messages.
“***” will stop the voicemail recording, after voicemail has
answered on a transferred call.
STATION-TO-STATION CALLS
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone
Dial station number.
Dial “0” for the General Office
PLACING AN OUTSIDE CALL:
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone.
Dial 9 and the telephone number.
•Example: 9 1- 716-241-6500
CALL HOLD
While on a call, depress HOLD.
The held line you are connected to will flash;
To retrieve the call, depress the flashing held line.
•NOTE: Any station having this line appearance can
retrieve the call.
If the call is placed on hold it will flash green.
If the call is placed on hold by another party it will flash red.
CALL TRANSFER:
After conversing, Depress TRANSFER; receive stutter dial tone.
Dial the destination number, hang up or wait for answer.
To retrieve a call press TRANSFER again.
CONFERENCE:
With the call in progress, ask the party to hold.
Depress TRANSFER; receive stutter dial tone.
Dial the desired party’s number to conference in.
After call is answered, depress CONFERENCE key.
All three parties are then connected
LAST NUMBER REDIAL
Press the REDIAL key.
The last number dialed from that extension will be displayed. Up to
five previously dialed numbers can be displayed.
Depress the # or *key when desired number appears in the display
The number is automatically dialed.
Non-display phones store the last number dialed only.
HISTORY KEY
Press the HIST. Soft Key.
“OG” (Outgoing Calls) and “IC” (Incoming Calls) will be displayed.
Press “OG” Soft Key to view up to ten previously dialed numbers
Press “Next” Soft Key and then “Redial” Soft Key to dial the number
displayed.
Press “IC” Soft Key to view up to ten incoming calls.
Press “Next” Soft Key and then “CB” to dial the number displayed
ONE-TOUCH SPEED DIAL
To program speed dial, press Feature, desired line key, dial the number
and press Feature again.
Depress line key to call that number.
SYSTEM SPEED DIAL
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone.
Dial # # and 3digit code, number will be dialed automatically
AUTHORIZATION CODES
Dial *0, then Authorization Code, listen for dial tone
Dial 9 and the number desired
Overrides Day/Nite Timer
PICK UP GROUP
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone.
Dial *7 or press Pick soft key, to retrieve call.
SOFT KEYS
MIC= Turns microphone on and off
HIST= History of Incoming and Outgoing Calls
PICK= Press key to pick a call from another phone
CALL FORWARD ALL CALLS (ACTIVATE)
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone.
Dial * 3, receive stutter dial tone.
Dial the destination extension or external number.
Receive service set tone.
Hang up.
CALL FORWARD ALL CALLS (DEACTIVATE)
Lift the Handset or press Speaker to receive dial tone.
Dial # 3
Receive service set tone.
Hang up.
