i. Usage environment
●Do not use the appliance in a wet condition or dusty environment as this may
result in malfunction or electric shock.
●Do not use the appliance in the bathroom.
●Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink.
●Place the appliance in a safe location.
●Do not expose the appliance to a heater or direct sunlight.
ii. Unsuitable user
If you are experiencing health complications or conditions as stated below, please
consult your doctor before use:
- Suffering from heart disease
- Pregnancy
- Any health concerns
iii. When the product should not be used
●If the use exceeds 15 minutes at one time.
●This unit should not be used by children or invalids without adult supervision.
●Do not use this product before sleep.
●If the fabric cover is torn.
●If liquid is spilled onto the appliance.
●If the user feels abnormal or severe pain during the massage.
●If the user detects any malfunction or other abnormal conditions during
operation.

●Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use.
●Do not use any attachments that are not recommended by OGAWA.
●Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug. Please return
the unit to OGAWA Service Center for examination and repairs.
●Do not insert your hands or any object into the massager’s vents and gaps.
●Use the heated surfaces carefully. It should not be used by children or
incapacitated persons. May be dangerous.
●Do not lift or carry this appliance by the power cord or any cord.
●This product is only intended for home use only.
Commercial use is prohibited.
●Do not cover the appliance during operation.
●Do not crush appliance and avoid it from sharp folds.

Safety Instructions
v. Note
●Please read these safety notes thoroughly beforehand to ensure the safety
and correct use of the appliance.
●The appliance is not intended for use by persons suffering from physical,
sensory or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience and knowledge
about the product. They need to be supervised and instructed by a person
responsible for their safety.
●Extensive usage could lead to excessive heating and shorter product lifespan.
Should this occur, discontinue usage and allow the unit to cool before
operating.
●Some levels of noise during usage are normal due to vibration.
●Consult the doctor before use if the person using it is under medication or with
a medical condition. Please do not use the product if you are not feeling well.
●Do not increase the room temperature abruptly if the appliance is used in the
cold room. It is advisable that the temperature should increase gradually to a
normal level.
●If the appliance is stored in a cold place or in a warm environment, please
wait for one hour before use to reach the optimum massaging level.
●Do not remove the cover of the appliance. Touching the internal components
may result in malfunction or electric shock.
●Do not connect or disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet with
wet hands.
●Do not use the appliance if the electrical outlet is loose.

Warranty Claims
1. Warranty is not transferable.
2. This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased from OGAWA.
3. Proof of purchase (original receipt) is required for all warranty repairs.
4. All implied warranties, including but not limited to these implied warranties of fitness
and merchantability, are limited to the duration stated in the warranty policy.
5. Damage due to misuse, improper treatment and unauthorized modification and
repair are not covered by this warranty.
6. Warranty does not cover accessories and attachments which do not belong to the
massage unit.
7. Warranty is not effective to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-
residential users.
8. All services covered by this warranty must be approved by OGAWA and repaired
by authorized technicians only.
9. If replacement parts for defective materials are not available, OGAWA reserves the
right to make substitution in lieu of repair or replacement.

Moving the Chair
Caution:
Avoid moving the massage chair when there is someone seated on it.
Placing a mat underneath the massage chair is advisable, as the moving process
might scratch the floor surface.

Control Buttons for the Massage Chair
1. ON / OFF
Place three AAA batteries into the controller with the positive and negative poles
correctly connected. Insert the plug of the massage chair into an appropriate outlet to
power the chair. If massage rollers are not at the waist, then they will return to their
original position (during this process, the ON / OFF indicator is lit, but no buttons work),
and the indicator will be unlit later. Long press (more than 2 seconds) the ON / OFF
button to activate the chair, the indicator will be lit, then a desired massage function
can be selected. After the chair is activated, the timer is preset at 15 minutes (The
CHERISH Auto mode is set at 20 minutes). After the chair is activated, short press
(less than 2 seconds) the ON / OFF button, the controller will be set to the power-
saving sleep mode. Short press the button again, the present massage parameters
will be displayed on the controller. Long press the ON / OFF button after the chair is
activated or the preset program ends, all functions will stop and the massage rollers
will return to their original position.
2. SHAPE & TONE
When the chair is operating, short press this button to start the SHAPE & TONE AUTO
mode, and the indicator will be lit. Press it again to close the mode.
3. REFRESH
When the chair is operating, short press this button to start the REFRESH AUTO
mode, and the indicator will be lit. Press it again to close the mode.
Note: this program is preset at 20 minutes.
4. REJUVENATE
When the chair is operating, short press this button to start the REJUVENATE AUTO
mode, and the indicator will be lit. Press it again to close the mode.

5. RECHARGE
When the chair is operating, short press this button to start the RECHARGE AUTO
mode, and the indicator will be lit. Press it again to close the mode.
6. MODE
When the chair is operating and the tapping function is activated, short press this
button to switch between three tapping modes. The indicator light turns to green for
mode 1, blue for mode 2, and red for mode 3.
7. INTENSITY
After the intensity indicator is lit, short press the INTENSITY button to switch among 3
modes in cycle. The backlight of the INTENSITY button displays 3 colours based on
the present intensity levels: green for low intensity, blue for medium intensity, and red
for high intensity.
8. HEAT
When the chair is operating, press this button to start the HEAT function independently,
and the HEAT indicator will be lit. Short press the button again to stop the function, and
the indicator will be unlit.
9. TAPPING
When the chair is operating, short press this button to activate the tapping function and
start the moving massaging. The tapping mode is preset at mode 1 in green light, and
the intensity is preset at medium level in blue light. Press the WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
button to adjust the width of tapping position. Press this button again to close the
mode. If the kneading function is activated before the tapping function, then both
functions will work together. If the present tapping function is in the Spot massage
mode (when the mode light flashes), press this button, the chair will resume its moving
tapping mode and the indicator will be lit.

10. KNEADING
When the chair is operating, short press the KNEADING button, the indicator will be
lit, and the kneading function and the moving massaging will start. The intensity is
preset at medium level in blue light. Press the button again to close the mode. If the
tapping function is activated before the kneading function, then both functions will work
together. If the present function is set at Spot massage mode (when the Spot massage
light flashes), press this button, the chair will resume a moving kneading mode and the
mode light will be lit.
11. ROLLING
When the chair is operating, short press the ROLLING button, the indicator will be
lit, and the rolling function and the moving massage will start. If there exist any other
activated massage modes, such modes will be closed before the rolling mode starts.
Short press the button again to close the rolling function, and the indicator will be unlit.
Width adjustment is also applicable for the rolling mode.
12. SPOT or Localised massage
Under the tapping or kneading function after the chair activation, press the SPOT
button (up and down arrows) to start the Spot massage function, and the mode light
will flash. Press and hold the up or down arrow to move the massage rollers upward or
downward. Release the button to stop the roller adjustment and start the Spot massage
function. Meanwhile, the corresponding upward or downward indicator light will be
turned off.
13. WIDTH Adjustment
When the rolling or tapping mode is activated, press the WIDTH ADJUSTMENT button
to adjust the rolling or tapping width. The indicator will be lit in the process of the
adjustment and unlit after the adjustment.

Caution:
1. After the chair starts operating, the timer is preset at 15 minutes (REFRESH mode
is set at 20 minutes), and the time interval between different modes will not be
cleared. When the timer reaches zero, the chair will shut down (For the REFRESH
mode, the chair will shut down if it is switched to other modes after 15 minutes).
The timer will give three beep sounds when there are only 30 seconds left, and
when the timer reaches zero, the chair will beep and shut down.
2. Sleep Mode of the Controller
After the chair is activated, when the controller is first used to activate the massage
mode, the controller will be in the sleep mode after working 60 seconds, and then
no buttons can control the chair. In the sleep mode, press the ON/OFF button to
re-enable the controller and display its present massage parameters. 20 seconds
later, the controller will go to the sleep mode once again. If the controller shows a
low battery (under 3V), the ON/OFF, CHERISH and REVITAL indicators will flash
for 5 seconds before the controller goes to the sleep mode. If the signal between
the controller and the chair fails, the ON/OFF, FITNESS and RELIEF indicators will
flash for 5 seconds before the controller goes into the sleep mode.
3. Matching Instructions for the Controller and the Chair
Each massage chair is matched with a specific controller. If the controller fails to
connect with the chair or needs a replacement, please refer to following steps to
match the controller with the massage chair.
Step 1: Connect the power cord of the chair, turn off the switch in the back of the
chair (when the massage chair is power off), press and hold the ON/OFF button for
5 seconds;
Step 2: Release the ON/OFF button when the HEAT indicator flashes, press and
hold the HEAT button (within 5 seconds). Then turn on the switch in the back of the
chair to power the chair (within 3 seconds);
Step 3: When there are 3 continuous and short beep sounds, it indicates that the
matching is completed successfully.

●Always pull out the power supply plug after use or before cleaning.
●Please keep the controller away from water or liquid.

Troubleshooting
If you are caught in any problems when using this product, please refer to the following
tips or possible solutions. If the solutions are not applicable, please send the product to
our service centre or contact our authorized technical staff for inspection and repair.
