2.2 Konstruktion
Das Produkt wird anprobefertig geliefert und kann durch das Fachpersonal auf den Patienten an
gepasst werden.
Der ventrale Teil besteht aus kunststoffbeschichtetem Aluminium und trägt spezielle Rastenver
schlüsse. Diese nehmen das flexible Taillenband auf, das an der Rückenpelotte befestigt ist.
Die Sternalpelotte und die Symphysenpelotte haben einen nachformbaren Aluminiumkern. Über
den Bruststab ist die Sternalpelotte um maximal 20mm längenverstellbar und auf dem Bruststab
frei verschiebbar.
3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
3.1 Verwendungszweck
Die Orthese ist ausschließlich zur orthetischen Versorgung des Rückens einzusetzen und aus
schließlich für den Kontakt mit intakter Haut bestimmt.
Die Orthese muss indikationsgerecht eingesetzt werden.
3.2 Indikationen
• Stabile traumatische Wirbelkörperfrakturen der unteren Brustwirbelsäule und Lendenwirbel
säule, ohne neurologische Ausfälle

• Osteoporose
Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.
3.3 Kontraindikationen
3.3.1 Absolute Kontraindikationen
Nicht bekannt.
3.3.2 Relative Kontraindikationen
Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt erforderlich: Hauterkrankun
gen/-verletzungen, Entzündungen, aufgeworfene Narben mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwär
mung im versorgten Körperabschnitt, Tumoren, Lymphabfluss-Störungen – auch unklare Weich
teilschwellungen körperfern des Hilfsmittels, Sensibilitätsstörungen im Bereich des Rumpfes.
3.4 Wirkungsweise
Die Orthese richtet die Wirbelsäule in der Sagittalebene auf und stabilisiert sie. Das Drei-Punkt-
Prinzip bewirkt durch die Rückenpelotte, die Sternalpelotte und die Symphysenpelotte eine
Lordosierung und damit eine Entlastung der vorderen Wirbelkörperanteile.
3.5 Nutzungseinschränkungen
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die Versorgung an einem Patienten konzipiert.
Anzuformende Teile, und jene, die direkt mit der Haut in Berührung kommen, können bei Ge
brauch des Produkts an einer weiteren Person funktionale oder hygienische Risiken verursachen:
• bei der Ausbildung von Materialrissen, die bei unbeschädigtem Lack visuell nicht erkennbar
sind
• bei Materialermüdung durch Wechselbeanspruchung und
• durch die Abnahme der Bruchdehnung (Kaltfestigung) bei mehrfacher Kaltverformung
Der Wiedereinsatz des Produkts an anderen Personen ist nicht zulässig.
Die tägliche Tragedauer und Anwendung richten sich nach der medizinischen Indikation.
4 Sicherheit

5 Auswählen der Größe

6 Anpassen und Anlegen
VORSICHT

►Stellen Sie das korrekte Anlegen und den korrekten Sitz des Produkts sicher.

Lösen der Rastenverschlüsse
Verlust der Stützfunktion, Verletzungen durch Verschleiß oder unbeabsichtigtes Betätigen der
Rastenverschlüsse
►Achten Sie bei jedem Anlegen darauf, dass die Rastenverschlüsse in dem Taillenband hör
bar einrasten. Das Taillenband darf unter Belastung nicht herausrutschen.
►Üben Sie gemeinsam mit den Patienten das richtige An- und Ablegen.
►Bei Beschädigungen oder spürbaren Veränderungen am Produkt soll der Patient eine Fach
werkstatt aufsuchen.
INFORMATION
Dauerhafter direkter Hautkontakt mit dem Produkt kann zu Hautirritationen führen. Das Produkt
im alltäglichen Gebrauch nur über Kleidung (z.B. T-Shirt oder Unterhemd) tragen. Bei einer
zeitlich begrenzten Anwendung (z.B. Therapie im Wasser) kann das Produkt auch direkt auf in
takter Haut getragen werden.
INFORMATION
►Die tägliche Tragedauer und der Anwendungszeitraum werden in der Regel vom Arzt festge
legt.
►Die erstmalige Anpassung und Anwendung des Produkts darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfol
gen.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten in die Handhabung und Pflege des Produkts ein.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten darauf hin, dass er umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen soll, wenn er
außergewöhnliche Veränderungen an sich feststellt (z.B. Zunahme der Beschwerden).
Ottobock empfiehlt, die Metallteile von Hand anzurichten oder Schränkeisen mit runden Kanten
zu verwenden. Den Verstellbereich der Schlitzteile und die Führung in der Basisplatte nicht bie
gen.
1) Zur Längenanpassung die Schrauben innerhalb der Pelotten und der Basisplatte lösen (siehe
Abb.2).
2) Unter Berücksichtigung der Auszugslänge die Sternal- und Symphysempelotte in der Höhe
an den Patienten anpassen. Die Sternalpelotte ist über den Bruststab ca. 20mm längenver
stellbar und auf dem Bruststab frei verschiebbar.
3) Optional: Als Zubehör steht ein kurzer Bruststab 29R138=200 und ein langer Bruststab
29R138=350 zur Verfügung. Zum Austausch des Bruststabs die 3 Schrauben der Basisplatte
entfernen und die Sternalpelotte ummontieren (siehe Abb.2, siehe Abb.3).
4) Reicht die Schlitzverschiebung bei kurzem Rumpf nicht aus, kann der Bauchstab gekürzt wer
den (siehe Abb.4).
5) Nach der Anpassung die Schrauben prüfen und festziehen.
6) Das Polster der Rückenpelotte an den geprägten Schnittkanten auf den gewünschten Umfang
kürzen.

7) Über die Rastenverschlüsse ist ein problemloses Anlegen der Orthese möglich. Zum Öffnen
der Orthese eine der Drucktasten am Rastenverschluss betätigen. Die Schließhilfen dienen
zur Orientierung für die richtige Einstellung des Taillenbands (siehe Abb.5).
8) Die korrekte Passform der Orthese überprüfen und gegebenenfalls korrigieren.
Bei angelegter Orthese und vor Abgabe des Produkts an den Patienten sind zu prüfen
• Druck, Platzierung und Passform der 3 Pelotten
• Spannung und Sitz von Taillenband und Basisplatte
• Passform und Hyperextensionswirkung in der Sitzhaltung
INFORMATION
Während der ersten Anprobe ist besonderes Augenmerk darauf zu legen, dass das Taillenband
in den Rastenverschluss einrastet, um einem Herausrutschen des Taillenbandes unter Belas
tung entgegenzuwirken.
7 Reinigung
HINWEIS
Kontakt mit Salzwasser, chlorhaltigem Wasser sowie abrasiven Medien (z.B. Sand)
Beschädigungen und vorzeitiger Verschleiß am Produkt
►Reinigen Sie das Produkt umgehend nach jedem Kontakt mit den genannten Stoffen.
Die Orthese ist unempfindlich gegen Wasser, so dass die Körperpflege nicht eingeschränkt wird,
Duschen mit angelegter Orthese ist möglich. Im Anschluss daran die Orthese reinigen:
1) Die Orthese mit einem feuchten Tuch und neutraler Seife reinigen.
2) Die Orthese mit Wasser abspülen und mit einem Tuch trockenreiben.
8 Entsorgung
Das Produkt gemäß den geltenden nationalen Vorschriften entsorgen.
9 Rechtliche Hinweise
Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des Verwenderlandes und
können dementsprechend variieren.
9.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem

These instructions for use provide important information on adjusting and fitting-on the 28R14
hyperextension brace according to André Bähler.
2 Product description

2.2 Design
The product is ready for fitting when delivered, and can be adjusted to the patient by qualified
personnel.
The ventral part consists of plastic-coated aluminum and has special ratchet closures. These
accommodate the flexible waistband that is attached to the back support.
The sternal support and the symphysis support have an aluminum core that can be reshaped. The
length of the sternal support can be adjusted by maximum 20mm over the chest bar. It can be
pushed freely along the chest bar.
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The brace is intended exclusively for orthotic fittings of the back and exclusively for contact with
intact skin.
The brace must be used in accordance with the indications.
3.2 Indications
• Stable traumatic fractures of the vertebral bodies in the lower thoracic and lumbar spine, with
out neurological deficits
• Osteoporosis
The indication must be determined by the physician.
3.3 Contraindications
3.3.1 Absolute Contraindications
None known.

3.3.2 Relative Contraindications
The following conditions require consultation with a physician: skin diseases/injuries, inflamma
tion, raised scars with swelling, reddening, and warming in the area where the support is fitted,
tumors, lymphatic congestion – including unclear soft tissue swelling distal to the support, and
dysesthesia in the trunk.
3.4 Mechanism of Action
The brace straightens the spine in the sagittal plane and stabilizes it. Through the back support,
the sternal support, and the symphysis support, the three-point principle causes lordosing, reliev
ing in this way the anterior vertebral bodies.
3.5 Restrictions for use
The product is designed exclusively for fitting on one patient.
Parts that are shaped, and parts that come directly into contact with the skin, could cause func
tional or hygienic risks if the product is used on another person:
• when cracks in the material form that cannot be visually detected if paint is undamaged
• in the case of material fatigue due to alternating loads
• through a decrease in elongation at break (cold fixing) in the case of multiple cold forming
Reuse of the product on other persons is not permitted.
The daily duration of use and application is based on the medical indication.
4 Safety

5 Selecting the Size
1) Measure the waist circumference approx. 2cm above the iliac crest.
2) Determine the brace size (see size chart).
6 Fitting and Application

►Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.
CAUTION
Loosening the ratchet closures
Loss of the support function, injuries due to wear or unintentional release of the ratchet closures
►At each application, ensure that the ratchet closures audibly engage in the waistband. The
waistband must not slip out under load.
►Practice the application and removal of the product with the patient.
►In case of damage or noticeable changes in the product, the patient should consult a spe
cialist workshop.
INFORMATION
Continuous, direct skin contact with the product can lead to skin irritation. Only wear the prod
uct over clothing (e.g. a T-shirt or undershirt) in daily use. For limited times (e.g. water therapy),
the product can also be worn directly on intact skin.
INFORMATION
►The daily duration of use and period of application are generally determined by the physi
cian.
►The initial fitting and application of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel.
►Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.
►Instruct the patient to see a physician immediately if any exceptional changes are noted (e.g.
worsening of the complaint).
Ottobock recommends arranging the metal parts by hand, or using bending irons with rounded
edges. Do not bend the adjustment area of the slotted parts or the guiding element in the base
plate.
1) To adapt the length, release the screws inside the supports and the base plate (see fig.2).
2) Adapt the sternal support and symphysis support to the height of the patient while observing
the extension length. The length of the sternal support can be adjusted by around 20mm over
the chest bar. It can be pushed freely along the chest bar.
3) Option: A short chest bar 29R138=200 and a long chest bar 29R138=350 are available as
accessories. To exchange the chest bar, remove the 3 screws of the base plate and reassem
ble the sternal support (see fig.2, see fig.3).
4) If pushing the slot is not enough for a short torso, the chest bar can be shortened (see fig.4).
5) After adapting, check and tighten the screws.
6) Shorten the pad of the back support on the embossed cut edges to the desired circumfer
ence.
7) The brace can be fitted on without any problem via the ratchet closures. To open the brace,
actuate one of the pushbuttons on the ratchet closure. The closing aid helps orientation when
finding the correct setting of the waistband (see fig.5).
8) Check the correct fit of the brace and adjust if necessary.
When the brace is fitted-on, but has not yet been handed over to the patient, check
• Pressure, placement and fit of the 3 supports
• Tension and fitting of waistband and base plate
• Fit and hyperextension effect in the sitting position
INFORMATION
During the first fitting, pay special attention that the waistband latches into the ratchet closure,
as this helps prevent the waistband from slipping out under pressure.

7 Cleaning
NOTICE
Contact with salt water or water containing chlorine as well as abrasive substances
(e.g.sand)
Damage and premature product wear and tear
►Promptly clean the product following any contact with the substances identified above.
The brace is not damaged by water, which means that personal hygiene is not restricted. Shower
ing is possible when wearing the brace. Clean the brace afterwards:
1) Clean the brace with a damp cloth and neutral soap.
2) Rinse off the brace with water and dry with a cloth.
8 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

2.2 Construction
Le produit est livré pour être prêt à l’essayage. Il peut être ajusté au patient par le personnel spé
cialisé.
La partie ventrale est composée d’aluminium recouvert de plastique et porte des fermetures à
crans spéciales. Ces fermetures sont rattachées à la ceinture flexible qui est fixée à la pelote dor
sale.
La pelote sternale et la pelote symphysaire possèdent un noyau en aluminium ajustable. La pelote
sternale est réglable en longueur de 20mm maximum au moyen de la tige thoracique et peut être
déplacée librement sur la tige thoracique.
3 Utilisation conforme
3.1 Usage prévu
L’orthèse est exclusivement destinée à un appareillage orthétique du dos et est conçue unique
ment pour entrer en contact avec une peau intacte.
Il est impératif d’utiliser l’orthèse conformément aux indications.
3.2 Indications
• Fractures traumatiques stables du rachis thoracique inférieur et du rachis lombaire, sans dé
faillances neurologiques
• Ostéoporose
L’indication est déterminée par le médecin.
3.3 Contre-indications
3.3.1 Contre-indications absolues
Inconnues.
3.3.2 Contre-indications relatives
Un médecin doit être consulté en présence des indications suivantes: affections ou lésions cuta
nées, inflammations, cicatrices exubérantes avec gonflement, rougeur et hyperthermie dans la ré
gion appareillée, tumeurs, troubles de l’écoulement lymphatique, gonflements non expliqués des
parties molles dans la partie distale du dispositif médical et troubles de la sensibilité au niveau du
tronc.

3.4 Effets thérapeutiques
L’orthèse redresse la colonne vertébrale sur le plan sagittal et la stabilise. Le principe des trois
points entraîne une lordose en raison de la pelote dorsale, de la pelote sternale et de la pelote
symphisaire et donc un soulagement des vertèbres de la partie avant.
3.5 Restrictions d’utilisation
Le produit est exclusivement prévu pour l’appareillage d’un seul patient.
Les parties à former et celles en contact direct avec la peau peuvent présenter des risques fonc
tionnels ou hygiéniques en cas d’utilisation du produit sur une autre personne:
• en cas de formation de fissures du matériau qui ne sont pas visibles sur le vernis non endom
magé
• en cas d’usure du matériau due à des contraintes alternées et
• à la diminution de l’allongement à la rupture (fixation à froid) en cas de déformations à froid
répétées
Toute réutilisation du produit par d’autres personnes est interdite.
La durée et l‘utilisation quotidiennes du port du produit dépendent des prescriptions médicales.
4 Sécurité

5 Sélection de la taille

6 Ajustement et mise en place

les fermetures à crans
►À chaque mise en place du produit, veillez à ce que les fermetures à crans de la ceinture
émettent un clic d’enclenchement. La ceinture ne doit pas glisser lorsqu’elle est sollicitée.
►Entraînez-vous avec le patient à mettre en place et à retirer correctement le produit.
►En cas de dégradations ou de modifications sensibles du produit, le patient doit alors
prendre contact avec un atelier spécialisé.
INFORMATION
Un contact direct et permanent de la peau avec le produit est susceptible d’entraîner des irrita
tions cutanées. Portez le produit au quotidien uniquement sur un vêtement (par ex. un tee-shirt
ou un maillot de corps). En cas d’utilisation limitée (par ex. pour une séance de thérapie dans

INFORMATION
►En général, le médecin détermine la durée quotidienne du port du produit et sa période
d’utilisation.
►Seul le personnel spécialisé est habilité à procéder au premier ajustement et à la première
utilisation du produit.
►Apprenez au patient comment manipuler et entretenir correctement le produit.
►Indiquez au patient qu'il doit immédiatement consulter un médecin s'il constate des change
ments anormaux sur sa personne (par ex. une augmentation des douleurs).
Ottobock recommande de redresser manuellement les parties métalliques ou d‘utiliser des fers à
cintrer à bords ronds. Ne pas plier la plage de réglage des parties fendues et le guidage au ni
veau de l‘embase.
1) Pour ajuster la longueur, desserrer les vis au niveau des pelotes et de l’embase (voir ill.2).
2) Ajuster en hauteur la pelote sternale et la pelote symphysaire en fonction du patient et en te
nant compte de la longueur d‘extraction. La pelote sternale est réglable en longueur à 20mm
maximum au moyen de la tige thoracique et peut être déplacée librement sur la tige thora
cique.
3) Facultatif: une tige thoracique courte 29R138=200 et une tige thoracique
longue29R138=350 sont disponibles comme accessoires. Pour remplacer la tige thoracique,
retirer les 3 vis de l’embase et repositionner la pelote sternale (voir ill.2, voir ill.3).
4) Si le déplacement de la fente ne suffit pas en cas de torse court, il est possible de raccourcir
la tige ventrale (voir ill.4).
5) Après l’ajustement, examiner les vis et les serrer à fond.
6) Raccourcir le rembourrage de la pelote dorsale aux dimensions souhaitées sur les arêtes
tranchantes marquées.
7) L’orthèse peut se poser sans difficultés au moyen des fermetures à crans. Pour ouvrir
l‘orthèse, appuyer sur l‘une des touches de la fermeture à crans. Les aides à la fermeture
servent d’orientation pour effectuer un réglage correct de la ceinture (voir ill.5).
8) Vérifier l‘ajustement correct de l‘orthèse et, si besoin, le corriger.
Une fois l’orthèse posée et avant que le produit ne soit remis au patient, il convient de vé
rifier:
• la pression, la position et l’ajustement des 3 pelotes
• la tension et la position de la ceinture et de l‘embase
• l’ajustement et l’effet d’hyperextension en position assise

Avant le premier essayage, il convient de veiller particulièrement à ce que la ceinture
s‘encliquette dans la fermeture à crans afin d’éviter un glissement de la ceinture lors de la
charge.
7 Nettoyage

Dégradations et usure précoce du produit
►Après tout contact avec les matières mentionnées ci-dessus, nettoyez immédiatement le pro
duit.
L'orthèse est insensible à l‘eau de telle sorte qu‘il est possible de prendre soin sans restrictions
de son hygiène corporelle. Il est aussi possible de se doucher tout en portant l‘orthèse. Nettoyer
ensuite l’orthèse.
1) Nettoyer l‘orthèse avec du savon neutre et un chiffon humide.
2) Rincer l‘orthèse à l‘eau et l'essuyer en frottant avec un chiffon.
8 Mise au rebut
Éliminez le produit conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vigueur.

2.2 Costruzione
Il prodotto viene consegnato pronto per la prova e può essere adeguato al paziente dal personale
tecnico specializzato.
La parte ventrale è realizzata in alluminio rivestito in plastica e comprende chiusure di arresto spe
ciali. In queste chiusure viene inserita la fascia flessibile per la vita, che viene fissata alla pelotta
posteriore.
La pelotta sternale e la pelotta pubica sono dotate di un nucleo in alluminio sagomabile. La pelot
ta sternale, regolabile in lunghezza fino a massimo 20mm, è posizionata sopra l'asta toracica e
può essere spostata liberamente lungo l'asta toracica.
3 Uso conforme
3.1 Uso previsto
L'ortesi è indicata esclusivamente per il trattamento ortesico della schiena e va applicata unica
mente sulla pelle intatta.
L'ortesi va applicata nel rispetto delle indicazioni.
3.2 Indicazioni
• Fratture traumatiche stabili del corpo vertebrale nel tratto inferiore del rachide toracico e del
rachide lombare, in assenza di disturbi neurologici
• osteoporosi
L'indicazione deve essere determinata dal medico.
3.3 Controindicazioni
3.3.1 Controindicazioni assolute
Nessuna.
3.3.2 Controindicazioni relative
Nei seguenti casi si rende necessaria la consultazione del medico: lesioni o patologie cutanee, in
fiammazioni, cicatrici protruse con rigonfiamenti, arrossamento e ipertermia della parte trattata,
gonfiori, disturbi della circolazione linfatica - anche gonfiori delle parti molli di natura sconosciuta
in distretti lontani dall'ortesi, disturbi della sensibilità a carico del tronco.

3.4 Azione terapeutica
L'ortesi raddrizza la colonna vertebrale sul piano sagittale stabilizzandola. Il principio a tre punti
provoca una formazione lordotica attraverso la pelotta posteriore, la pelotta sternale e la pelotta
pubica con conseguente scarico dei tratti anteriori della colonna vertebrale.
3.5 Limiti all’impiego del prodotto
Il prodotto è concepito esclusivamente per il trattamento di un solo paziente.
Le parti sagomabili e quelle a diretto contatto della pelle, possono comportare rischi funzionali o
igienici se il prodotto viene utilizzato da un'altra persona:
• in caso di formazione di cricche nel materiale, che non sono visibili se la verniciatura non è
danneggiata
• in caso di affaticamento del materiale dovuto a sollecitazione alternata e
• a seguito di riduzione dell'allungamento a rottura (consolidamento a freddo) in caso di molte
plice deformazione a freddo
Non è consentito il riutilizzo del prodotto su altre persone.
La durata dell'uso quotidiano e dell'applicazione dipende dall'indicazione medica.
4 Sicurezza

5 Scelta della misura
1) Misurare la circonferenza della vita circa 2cm al di sopra della cresta iliaca.
2) Determinare la misura dell'ortesi (vedere tabella misure).
6 Adattamento e applicazione

Applicazione errata o troppo stretta
Un'applicazione errata o troppo stretta del prodotto può comportare la comparsa di punti di
pressione localizzati e la compressione di vasi sanguigni e nervi
►Accertarsi che il prodotto sia stato applicato e rimanga posizionato in modo corretto.

CAUTELA
Apertura delle chiusure a cremagliera
Perdita della funzione di sostegno, lesioni dovute a usura o apertura involontaria delle chiusure
a cremagliera
►Ad ogni applicazione accertarsi che le chiusure a cremagliera si inseriscano in modo udibile
nella fascia addominale. Se caricata, la fascia addominale non deve scivolare fuori.
►Esercitare insieme al paziente come applicare e togliere il prodotto.
►In caso di danni o cambiamento evidente delle caratteristiche del prodotto, il paziente do
vrebbe rivolgersi ad un'officina specializzata.
INFORMAZIONE
Il contatto diretto e continuo del prodotto con l'epidermide può causare delle irritazioni. Durante
l'uso quotidiano indossare il prodotto solo sopra indumenti (p.es. T-shirt o magliette). Nel caso
di applicazioni di breve durata (p.es. terapia in acqua) il prodotto può essere indossato diretta
mente a contatto con la pelle non lesionata.
INFORMAZIONE
►È il medico a stabilire generalmente il tempo di impiego giornaliero e la durata di utilizzo.
►La prima applicazione del prodotto e il relativo adattamento al corpo del paziente devono es
sere eseguiti esclusivamente da personale specializzato.
►Istruire il paziente circa l'uso e la cura corretti del prodotto.
►Il paziente deve essere informato della necessità di recarsi immediatamente da un medico
nel caso in cui notasse cambiamenti inusuali (p.es. aumento dei disturbi).
Ottobock consiglia di sagomare le parti metalliche a mano o di utilizzare una licciaiola con i bordi
arrotondati. Non flettere il campo di regolazione delle parti intagliate e la guida nella piastra base.
1) Per regolare la lunghezza svitare le viti all'interno delle pelotte e della piastra base (v. fig.2).
2) Tenendo conto della lunghezza di estrazione, regolare in altezza la pellotta sternale e la pelot
ta pubica adattandole al paziente. La pelotta sternale può essere regolata in lunghezza di cir
ca 20mm tramite l'asta toracica e può essere spostata liberamente sull'asta toracica.
3) In opzione: un'asta toracica corta 29R138=200 e un'asta toracica lunga 29R138=350 sono
disponibili come accessori. Per la sostituzione dell'asta toracica rimuovere le 3 viti della pia
stra base e rimontare la pelotta sternale (v. fig.2, v. fig.3).
4) L'asta toracica può essere accorciata se, in caso di tronco corto, lo spostamento dell'intaglio
non è sufficiente (v. fig.4).
5) Al termine dell'adeguamento controllare le viti e serrarle.
6) Accorciare l'imbottitura della pelotta posteriore sui bordi di taglio stampati alla circonferenza
desiderata.
7) L'ortesi può essere applicata facilmente tramite le chiusure di arresto. Per aprire l'ortesi utiliz
zare uno dei tasti a pressione sulla chiusura di arresto. Gli ausili di chiusura servono a deter
minare la regolazione corretta della fascia per la vita (v. fig.5).
8) Controllare la vestibilità dell'ortesi ed eventualmente correggerla.
Durante l'applicazione dell'ortesi e prima di consegnare il prodotto al paziente occorre
controllare
• Pressione, posizione e vestibilità delle 3 pelotte
• Tensione e posizione corretta della fascia per la vita e della piastra base
• Vestibilità ed efficacia dell'iperestensore in posizione seduta

INFORMAZIONE
Durante la prima prova bisogna controllare in particolare che la fascia per la vita resti bloccata
nella chiusura di arresto, al fine di evitare che la fascia sotto carico scivoli all'esterno.
7 Pulizia
AVVISO
Contatto con acqua salmastra, acqua contenente cloro come pure con sostanze abrasi
ve (ades. sabbia)
Danneggiamenti e usura precoce del prodotto
►Pulire immediatamente il prodotto dopo ogni contatto con le sostanze sopra indicate.
L'ortesi è impermeabile e non limita l'igiene personale: è quindi possibile fare la doccia indossan
do l'ortesi. Al termine eseguire la pulizia dell'ortesi:
1) Utilizzare un panno umido e un sapone a pH neutro per pulire l'ortesi.
2) Risciacquare l'ortesi in acqua e asciugarla con un panno.
8 Smaltimento
Smaltire il prodotto in conformità alle vigenti prescrizioni nazionali.
9 Note legali
Tutte le condizioni legali sono soggette alla legislazione del rispettivo paese di appartenenza
dell'utente e possono quindi essere soggette a modifiche.

2.2 Construcción
El producto se suministra listo para probar y el personal técnico especializado puede adaptarlo al
paciente.
La pieza ventral está compuesta de aluminio revestido de plástico y está provista de cierres de
muescas especiales. Estos cierres alojan la correa flexible de la cintura fijada a la almohadilla
dorsal.
La almohadilla del esternón y la almohadilla de la sínfisis cuentan con un núcleo de aluminio ma
leable. La almohadilla del esternón puede regularse en longitud un máximo de 20mm a través de
la barra pectoral y desplazarse libremente sobre la misma.
3 Uso previsto
3.1 Uso previsto
Esta órtesis debe emplearse exclusivamente para la ortetización de la espalda y está prevista
exclusivamente para el contacto con piel intacta.
La órtesis debe utilizarse según la indicación del médico.
3.2 Indicaciones
• Fracturas traumáticas estables del cuerpo vertebral en la columna dorsal inferior y en la co
lumna lumbar sin anomalías neurológicas
• Osteoporosis
El médico será quien determine la indicación.
3.3 Contraindicaciones
3.3.1 Contraindicaciones absolutas

3.3.2 Contraindicaciones relativas
Los usuarios que presenten alguna de las siguientes indicaciones deberán consultar a su médi
co: enfermedades o lesiones de la piel; inflamaciones; cicatrices con hinchazón, enrojecimiento y
sobrecalentamiento en la región corporal que se va a tratar; tumores; trastornos del flujo linfático
(incluidas hinchazones difusas de las partes blandas alejadas del medio auxiliar); trastornos de
sensibilidad en la zona del torso.
