Removethe existing CABLE(part #68331)using the following steps:
¯ Disconnect LATBARfrom TOPBOOM.
¯ Unscrew the threaded end of CABLEfrom the HEADPLATEASSEMBLY.
¯ Route the CABLEaround the FLOAT~’GPULLEYas shown in FIGURE6.
¯ Route the CABLEthrough the TOPBOOMas shown in FIGURE6.
¯ The pulleys in TOPBOOMma.v need to be temporarily removed to remove CABLE.
¯ (NOTE:Discard CABLEpart ~q58331)

Install the NEWPRIMARYCABLE(13) using the following steps:
¯ Route the CABLE(13) through the TOPBOOMas sho~a in FIGURE7. Thepulleys in TOPBOOMmayneed to be temporarily removed
to performthis step. (Note: Makesure the CABLEis running in all the pulley grooves.)
Route the CABLE(13) around the FLOATINGPULLEYBRACKETas shownin FIGURE
Route the CABLE(13) back over one pulley in the GUIDERODSUPPORT,downthrough the PULLEYE;RACKET(2) and over
second pulley in the GUIDERODSUPPORT.
Screw the threaded end of CABLE(13) into the HEADPLATEASSEMBLY.

¯ The832LEGPRESSis equippedwith a spring pin adjustmentto accommodatedifferent sized users and allew eas)" entry and e,,dt from
the machine.Touse, youmustslightly pushagainst the foot plates to take tension offthe pin.
¯Toset the correct amountof tension in the cables, adjust the 832LEGPRESSinto the last adjustmenthole(sc, the LEGPRESSis spread
apart) and remove the WEIGHTSTACKPIN. Thread the PRIMARYCABLE(i 3) into the HEADPLA’IEASSEM]BLYuntil both
PULLEYBRACKETS(2) are held against the TOPBOOMand the cable is slightly pulling up on the HEAl)PLATE.Tighten the
but securely. Next, thread the LEGPRESSCABLE(14) into the PULLEYBRACKET(2) until cable is tight, then tighten the jam
