Vorbildinformation:
Bei der Baureihe SU45 handelt es sich um
eine dieselelektrische Lokomotive, die Mitte
der 1960er Jahre von der traditionsreichen
polnischen Lokomotivmanufaktur Cegielski
in Posen für den Reisezugdienst entwickelt
wurde. Um die Radsatzlast möglichst gering
zu halten, konzipierte man die bis zu 120
km/h schnelle Lokomotive mit zwei dreiachsi-
gen Drehgestelle. Die Serienlokomotiven, die
mit Motoren von FIAT in lizensierte Fertigung
ausgerüstet wurden, entwickelten sich schnell
zu einer der wichtigsten Diesellokbaureihen
im Personen- und Schnellzugdienst bei der
PKP. Ein Teil der Reihe wurde ab 1987 mit
elektrischen Heizungen ausgerüstet und als
SP45 bezeichnet.
The prototype:
The series SU45 is a diesel-electric locomotive,
which has been developed in the mid-1960s by
the long-established Polish locomotive manu-
facturer Cegielski in Poznan for the passenger
train service. In order to keep the wheelset
load as low as possible, the locomotive, which
reaches up to 120 km/h, was designed with
two three-axle bogies. The series locomotives,
which had been equipped with motors by FIAT
in licensed production, quickly became one of
the most important diesel locomotive series
in the passenger train and fast train service at
the PKP. A part of the series had been equip-
ped with electrical heating as from 1987 and
was designated as SP45.

Informations concernant l’original:
La série des SU45 est une locomotive diesel-
electrique qui a été construite au milieu des
années 60 par la manufacture de renom
Cegielski à Posen pour le transport de person-
nes. Afin de limiter le poids sur les roues, la
locomotive qui pouvait atteindre une vitesse
de plus de 120 km/h fut conçue avec 2 bogies
à 3 essieux. Les locomotives de série ont été
équipées avec des moteurs FIAT produits
sous license et sont très vite devenues l’une
des séries diesel les plus importantes de la
PKP pour le transport de personnes en trains
express. Une partie de la série, appelée SP45
fut équipée avec des chauffages électriques
dès 1987.

W przypadku serii SP45 chodzi o lokomotywę
spalinową, która została skonstruowana
w połowie lat 60. ubiegłego stulecia przez
zakłady Cegielskiego w Poznaniu do obsługi
ruchu pasażerskiego. Aby utrzymać możliwie
niski nacisk na oś, osiągająca prędkość
do 120 km/h lokomotywa została wyposażona
w dwa trójosiowe wózki. Maszyny seryjne,
z silnikami na licencji firmy FIAT szybko stały
się filarem ruchu osobowego i pospiesznego
na liniach niezelektryfikowanych PKP.
Od 1987 rozpoczęto proces wymiany kotłów
ogrzewania parowego na prądnice grzewcze;
zmodernizowane w ten sposób lokomotywy
otrzymały oznaczenie serii SU45.

If used frequently, oil the wheelsets with a drop of
non-resinous, acid-free sewing machine oil! In order
to achieve the best possible running and traction
properties, it is advisable to run the locomotive in for
25 minutes forwards and 25 minutes in reverse
without load. Clean rails are essential for good
performance.
Ölen Sie bei häufigem Fahrbetrieb die Achslager mit
einem Tropfen harz- und säurefreiem Nähmaschi-
nenöl! Wir empfehlen, die Lok ca. 25 min je Fahrtrich-
tung ohne Belastung einlaufen zu lassen, damit das
Modell einen optimalen Rundlauf und eine gute Zug-
kraft erhält. Bitte beachten Sie, daß der einwandfreie
Lauf des Modells nur auf sauberen Schienen gewähr-
leistet ist.

Si utilisation fréquente, huilez régulièrement avec
une goutte d’huile fine pour machine à coudre.
Nous vous conseillons un rodage complet de 25 min
dans chaque sens pour un roulement optimal.
Il est conseillé de nettoyer régulièrement vos rails
pour un bon fonctionnement.
Przy częstym używaniu lokomotywy należy smarować łożyska
osi kroplą oleju maszynowego nie zawierającego żywic
i kwasów. Aby lokomotywa osiągnęła najlepsze wlaściwości
jezdne i właściwą moc, zalecamy po smarowaniu jeździć
nią bez obciążenia po 25 minut do przodu i do tyłu.
Proszę także pamiętać, iż czyste szyny wpływają także
na prawidłową jazdę modelu.
